Fabrik is the intersect of fine dining and mom & pop restaurant hosted in an intimate micro restaurant space. We offer a 5 and 7-Course tasting at 6pm, and a 7-Course tasting at 8:30pm Wed-Sun. Fabrik's current menu focuses on Japanese, Nordic, and Italian flavor profiles. Fabrik is 100% independently owned and operated.

Led by Executive Chef-Owner Je Wallerstein, Fabrik is Austin’s first 100-percent plant-based tasting restaurant featuring curated menus that highlight the seasonality and diversity of plant-based cuisine in an upscale, sophisticated setting. With sustainability as a priority in our approach, we source produce and ingredients from local growers and provisioners wherever possible. We offer an eclectic selection of vegan, biodynamic and organic wines, including an optional wine pairing. Fabrik also offers saké as well as a range of non-alcoholic options.

I wish I could rate more than 5 stars! My fiancé and I have been twice now in the last 6 moths, both times with a different 7 course menu and we are always left so amazed! The presentation, the flavors, the staff.. perfection! Last night we did the wine pairing with our tasting and it was so much fun and the staff was so detailed with what he was pouring every time. It really is such an amazing experience. We definitely plan to visit once every time there's a new menu. We always have so much fun and never leave hungry or disappointed.

Fabulous experience all around. Great pace for the courses, unobtrusive service and stellar vegan food. Everything was tasty, but the gnocchi and turnip cigars were standouts. We look forward to trying them again.

Loved our visit - every dish was amazing, but especially loved the sourdough bread and pasta! The service is very friendly and low key, lots of non-alcoholic drink options in addition to nice wine and beer selections. Not just for vegans - really is food that anyone would enjoy! Highly recommend!

This tasting will exceed all of your expectations. A definite must, and this is from someone that eats meat with every meal otherwise. Great wine selection also. Super quaint and personalized environment which seats only 22. 👍🏻👍🏻 I did not ask how frequently they change the menu, but I cannot wait to take my next visitor here regardless.

FABRIK was nothing but amazing! The food was so flavorful and delicious, with each course creative and beautifully prepared. The small setting (can seat 24 total across 2 rooms) is intimate and the service was great. We went with a group of 4 and can’t wait to go back when they switch from their winter to spring menu. Highly recommend!!!

Fabrik keeps getting better and better. Their new expansion is wonderful and solves the previously unusual bathroom situation. Now I have nothing but praise for this excellent plant based restaurant. Creative ideas and amazing wine pairings. Can’t wait for the Spring menu.

Chef Je is phenomenal! She is so creative- the food is delicious and the presentation is beautiful. We loved every course and are sad to miss another meal of this menu but are looking forward to the next experience. Elevating vegan food to its highest level!

The food was absolutely delicious. It was Michelin star level. The atmosphere was so nice as well. We loved it!!! This restaurant is truly a gem!

Couldn't recommend this dining experience enough, from the presentation, to the service, to the divine FLAVORS. Whatever biases assert plant-based cuisine cannot be just as scrumptious and flavorful as any other are proven completely wrong at Fabrik. We generally have a rule against re-visiting the same places just because there's so much out there to try, but we have been telling all our friends about it and are now eagerly awaiting the next (seasonal) menu evolution to experience it all over again!

This was an absolutely amazing culinary experience! Whether you are vegan or not, I would recommend it. The chef's ability to elevate even the most "basic" vegetable was truly impressive. The 7 courses were extremely filling in spite of the deceptively small portions. We literally were unable to finish it all! The wine pairing option was a nice touch. I wish I lived closer so I could be a repeat customer.

What a joy to try such beautiful and tasty food! It is rare as a vegetarian to be able to eat everything on a menu, and I loved every bite. Planning to return the next time the menu changes. We hope to be regulars!

The best meal and dining experience I’ve had in Austin so far (lived here 4 years). Everything was wonderful. The service, aesthetic, and food were top tier. We couldn’t choose a favorite dish as they were all visually appealing and delicious. We met the chefs and they were lovely people as well. I will definitely be back!

FABRIK provided us with an exquisite dining experience! We took pictures of each and every course because the food was beautiful as well as delicious. It was the perfect place to wow an out-of-town vegetarian guest proving that the Austin food scene is so much more than BBQ.

What an amazing experience! The food was outstanding!! I can’t say enough about the Unexpected amazing surprise with how well the food was, and all handmade by the chef at the restaurant, and all vegan to boot!! Highly recommend for any food, regardless of your diet!

I booked it for our date and OMG! One of the best vegan fine dining experience. We had there winter 7 course and we loved the all 7 courses served. Specially the beetroot dumping (chef kiss), acorn squash gondolini, the palate cleanser which was blood orange sorbet with pomegranate foam and coconut cream was so good. I don’t have a sweet tooth but I would go for their baked Alaska! On top of that our server(Jordan) was so good and patient with us. He explained everything and every dish with smile and answer all of our questions. Definitely coming back to try the Summer menu!

truly an amazing experience. the service was exquisite. the food was amazing and creative! we got the 7 course meal because i was nervous the 5 course wouldn’t be enough food- but i was already full after the 4th course but still powered through since everything was to delicious. can’t wait to go back for their spring menu!

I was blown away with the quality and taste of the food. Great attention to detail. This place is out of this world! My only criticism would be that since the place is so small, the tables are very close to each other.

For a special occasion we visited Fabrik, our group of four had the seven course tasting menu. We were a bit early and made to feel very welcome. It’s an intimate space, and feels specific and considered. Clearly a great deal of thought and care has gone into every aspect of the experience, down to the flatware. I’m not a particularly sophisticated diner, and I’m not vegan either. Our friends that went with us aren’t even vegetarian. We went in with no real knowledge of what was going to be served and it was great fun to have each new, surprising course arrive. The structure was probably what you’re expecting - amuse bouche, bread, salad, pasta, dessert - everything was great but I’d say the sum is greater than the parts. Every dish was delicious, and I’m a bit embarrassed to say Fabrik did all the thinking and I just appreciated it. Hopefully someone else’s review will have details. I’m gonna say that I liked every single thing and have no notes. Not proud of the lack of intellect I’m applying here, just saying that if Fabrik at all interests you, just book a table and go. You won’t be disappointed.
