We went for mother’s day . It was offering amenities. We asked for it. When it was time for dessert, i told the server what is included in the menu. He confirmed those ones are on the menu. When he brought the bill, they were billed separately! The server had mad a mistake, but he did not take them off the bill and i paid. I went to the manager and told her about it. I said,” i do not want the refund, but the action is not ok.” I will never go there again

They had some hard of hearing people in our party, and they were able to partake well. Food is decently priced, and quite delicious.

Pre- Pearl Jam dinner. Great burgers, sat in the lounge so caught some playoffs and service was on point. Ron, the owner, has a good shop running here.

The prohibition brunch was an excellent deal! The food was all delicious and our server was great! She even offered us a box to take our sweet treat home as we were stuffed from the meal.

Great service. Busy place on a Saturday evening. Menu could offer more variety and pub staples like nachos. The salad options were limited- only add-on was chicken. The old menu offered a seared tuna option which was great,

Charming place. The noise level was high, but no worse than most places I have been in lately, it had a cheerful, upbeat vibe. The service was great, the waitress was fun and energetic. The food was delicious, with enough variation the please everyone in our group.

We came to see Rollin’ and Tumblin’s live show. The band was great! We had so much fun. Would love to see more live music events at this venue.

First off, service was excellent! Very enthusiastic and attentive, especially considering how busy it was! Some great mixed drinks then a couple of decent starters in the dumplings and wings. But the entres..... the diner burger and fries was good, solid pub food. The charcuterie was weak,especially given the price, and if u wanted bread with it, well that's another $6. Total $31 for a less than average board. Then the roast duck ravioli. The duck was way over cooked and had little flavour and the butternut squash ravioli had thick pasta and also lacked flavour. We also didnt complain about any of it because we were under a time crunch for a show, so we ate, had a coffee and left. We have had excellent experiences here in the past, so hopefully this was just a bit of an off night

Our waitress (whose name we didn't get but she had a French accent) made our entire evening!! She was absolutely wonderful. The food was interesting..lots of variety. I hated my meal (the chicken parm burger) but I don't think that's the restaurant's fault. The fries were delicious. My dad and brother loved the mussels. We witnessed a mouse run across a bench behind us while we ate, so that was a bit of a turn off.

We were well taken care of and appreciated the extra care and attention to a birthday celebration. Great service and fast food delivery to our group. Food is fresh and delish. Great for a pre game dinner.

My fault for not going better research. I thought this was same fine dining as the west 4th location. Food and service good. Pub atmosphere. Good spot before sports events downtown.

Fable was outstanding once again! We had a large party and we were celebrating my son’s 25th birthday, the food and service were both spectacular I highly recommend and Fable has become a favourite of ours ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Always super short staffed and long waits for someone to come to the front desk to seat you. The staff are super nice and the food is good, but not reliable if wanting an experience where they ensure the guest is prioritized.

came earlier than reserved but got in, thanks to the staff. Food was excellent as usual and service was top notch. We had family from out of town and the enjoyed it and the whole environment. The will come back.

Decent pricing The meal I chose Duck Ravioli was dry. It needed more sauce. Otherwise the flavour were very good. My partners meal smoked salmon and prawn pasta was also dry. The atmosphere is that of a sports bar with lots of TV tuned into sporting events.

Fable should be embarressed to put thier name on this business. We had a group of 7 and 6 meals were really quite bad. Avoid this place at all costs. It was truely terrible. I have never taken the time to give a bad review but in this case everyone should know to STAY AWAY

We were looking for a sit-down restaurant close enough to The Centre that we could walk over after dinner with my 90 year old mom. I wasn't sure how to plan that in downtown Vancouver. Fortunately Richards offers a 'passenger zone', no need to worry about cars ramming into you when you come to a stop at the curb. The food was great, our server was attentive and friendly, the ambience was nice with the beautiful brick walls as a backdrop. I was phoned within 30 minutes of leaving to let me know my gloves had been found and were being held for me. All around a very positive experience, I'd do it again. My only sadness was that pizza was off the menu last night.

We were seated in the lower level where the bench seating is situated. The back of the bench is padded yet falling apart … and leaves marks on our clothing. The food was good, wine pairings were spot on Unfortunately, the service was not good. The server was energetic … and later on apologetic, for the delivery of the food. 3 of 7 were served their meals and finished their meals before the mains were delivered to the remainder of the party. This was about a 25 minute delay. It appeared to us that our food was delivered to another table in error (coincidentally, some of the same dishes were ordered by both parties). We were seated first, yet not served first. Different staff were delivering food, not our server, which is likely how the delay happened. We watched plates being delivered, then taken back upstairs as the party either already had their food or didn’t order the item… then we would see the same dishes come back down the stairs to our table… but not all at once. The atmosphere was not what we anticipated, it was the bar section with pool table and darts. We were disappointed, as we were looking forward to a positive experience as part of DOVE event There was an automatic 18% gratuity assessed to our invoice …. The experience was not worth the cost.

Not a great experience. Was disappointed that it was not similar to the other fable restaurants in town. This felt like a bar/pub.

The food was really good! We did the prohibition brunch menu and every part was delicious. The service wasn’t great but our server seemed really busy. We got our appy and main at the same time but still hadn’t gotten our drinks. We did eventually get everything and the price and quality of food made it well worth it!
