I have been here several times. It is always great. The food and the drinks are amazing. And the service is the best. I have never had any issues. I highly recommend Zuzu to everyone.

Came in for dinner last night and let me tell you it was the best experience we have had in a long time. Everyone was extremely pleasant. We pulled up and noticed they had valet in front of the restaurant. What a great convenience. The host greeted us with a smile and walked us to our table. Randy our server did an amazing job explaining the menu as we have never been before. He recommended a couple amazing rolls and honey walnut shrimp to start. For entrees we had the 5 gold curry and the rock shrimp garlic noodles. The portion sizing was perfect! I can't say enough positive things about ZuZu. We will be back!

We had a great time when we came to Zuzu. The drinks were amazing. Best craft cocktails we have had. The food was hot, fresh and coursed out perfectly by our server Randy. The price for the items were very reasonable. The manger touched the table which we haven't seen done visiting restaurants in a long time. The bonus is they even had valet on Woodward.

Zuzu is a must visit! We celebrated my birthday here and let me tell you that we all had the time of our life. The host was so accommodating with our large group. We were offered inside our outside. Michigan weather you must take advantage of the beautiful days so we chose the patio. It was absolutely gorgeous out there. The large green booths with flowers and cherry blossom trees that light up were a beautiful touch. Our server was Randy. He never missed a step in service. He suggested the large format cocktail called Sei Less. The presentation on it was so adorable. It came out in a red dragon that smoked out of his mouth. For entrees Randy suggested more of a family style since we had a larger group. This was amazing as we tried different dishes that they offered. We had the pepper steak, garlic tofu and mushrooms, yaki noodle, and the seabass. All the dishes came out hot and extremley fresh. The portions were just enough for all of us. But let me tell you the Seabass was the best any of us have had. The manager touched the table and she thanked us for choosing Zuzu to celebrate my birthday. We ordered the celebration cake for dessert. The entire staff came over with sparklers, a huge light up cake and made sure I felt special. The whole patio even started clapping. What an experience!!! Great job zuzu staff.

Heard so many good things about Zuzu so we had to check it out. Came with a group of girls and had a blast. We sat in the bar area for happy hour. The menu was perfect for us ladies. We enjoyed our rolls (spicy tuna, cucumber avocado, and tempura shrimp) Our server Heather suggested we try the What We Do Is Secret. The cutest craft cocktail ever. Pink and bubbles. The service we received was nothing short of 5 stars. Everyone in the entire restaurant was amazing and super friendly. Management is doing a great job at this place. Can't wait to come back.

From the minute we walked in we were blown away. The restaurant reminds me of somewhere out of town. The host was very sweet when we arrived. She checked my rain coat and umbrella for me. We were seated in these beautiful red couches. It reminded us of a super VIP table. We came to celebrate our anniversary so it suited the occasion well. The food was simply amazing. Our server was Randy, and let me tell you he was great! His recommendations were phenomenal and perfect portion sizing. Look forward to coming back.

Our wait staff was polite, and helpful, but lacked experience. The main course was brought out while we were still eating our appetizers. The main dishes were cold by the time we ate them. The wine glass had smudge marks on it. The service and food do not match the price charged for dishes. The food was mediocre

This is a great place for friends looking for drinks and apps. Not really a quiet romantic destination. The food was good. Just good. Service was meh. The decor was outstanding. It’s a good place for groups

Our waiter Devante was really good and attentive. He gave us great recommendations to pick on the menu. He also kept checking on us which was great.

We Love everything about the place and the service was on point the waiter Rosario Kalaj was the man he explain the whole menu and was there at the table all night with drinks and food was killer , start out with the walnut shrimp and the lobster roll , We had the pepper steak Teriyaki chicken and a 9 ounce fillet rock shrimp noodles was excellent dinner, and the drinks on point couldn’t ask for a better time

The atmosphere was great ! We ordered sushi and apps with tomahawk steak for dinner. Our reservation was 5:30 and everything came out so fast we were done by 6:00. Everything basically came out at one time even the salad I ordered for dinner came out with the appetizers. I wish it was timed out better. There was a lot of things that were on the menu were not available. I definitely would recommend going for drinks and appetizers. They had a DJ on the patio, which was really nice

What they don't tell you is that they'll charge you 10$ per bottle of water per person. I had a party of 6 and spent 60 dollars on water alone. Service was pretty meh. Our server wasn't the kindest and made some snarky remarks. He was pretty impatient with us ordering too and rushed us, saying that all orders had to be sent to the kitchen all at once. The food of course is pricey, but pretty good. Whether or not I'd recommend is debatable. Super expensive for skimpy portions of food. The best part of the experience was definitely the ambience. Lots of space to take cute photos. I think that if we had a better server, the experience would've been a lot better in all honesty.

The best birthday experience yet!!!! We had the best waitress (DES) I will definitely request her the next time I dine there! Food was amazing! Dessert was outstanding especially the chocolate mousse OMG 😋😋😋!!!

I went here for my birthday. The food was so good and the waitress was really nice. However I didn’t like where we were seated and the restaurant was also very loud and hectic. The food was good but I was happy to leave.

Beautiful restaurant with a fantastic selection of food and cocktails. My daughter and I enjoyed a Waygu Beef hot stone that our server Des recommended, it was spectacular and so flavorful. My daughter loved it and can’t stop talking about how fun it was to cook at the table. Can’t wait to bring back the whole family and enjoy it with them!

It was my first time and I thought I was really going to enjoy the experience. I asked for good seating and got sat next to the checkout counter. My waiter was all over the place assisting others as well as me. I heard so much about the place and to just get a blah experience was so crushed and my bills was $200!

TL;DR: So the ambiance is decent and the location is great. The food was just ok, nothing to write home about. To be honest, I prefer my local cheap takeout restaurants in comparison. Here’s why: 1) I get what this place is trying to exude… the presence of bouncers (probably for the “Upstairs” bar/nightclub), the hosts at the entrance that give off the “I don’t care” and “you’re not on the list” club vibe (until you tell them you have a reservation)… they’re trying to seem “cool” and “exclusive”. This is reinforced by all the bottles of Armand de Brignac (Ace of Spades) on the walls and at the bar. They’re appealing to a certain demographic. I get it, just not my thing. It’s very Instagrammable, though, if that’s your thing! 2) When we walked in, aside from the aforementioned, they immediately brought us outside… it was cooling down out and we were not planning on that (it’s early May). When I made the OpenTable reservation, I wasn’t asked about a seating preference. I mean, yeah, outside is a “cool” vibe, but we didn’t want the cool temps. Plus it was somewhat windy. When we asked to be seated inside, they almost seemed genuinely inconvenienced by that request. They got us seated inside, but at THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE booth “thing” that I’ve ever sat upon in my life. They are the roundish booths off to the left when you walk in. Whoever thought those were a good idea should be fired. 3) As I said, the food was fine. And the drinks weren’t bad (not amazing but not bad). But the prices? WOW. SUPER pricey for what you get. But that’s the thing… the food is FINE. Not amazing. Definitely not spectacular! For those prices, it better blow me away. Which it didn’t. 4) Last thing… the tip. I didn’t know that the tip was already included in the bill, nor was it disclosed. That’s a bit unusual for small parties (3 people). There was also no immediate indication on the bill that it was already included, which seems somewhat fraudulent. So I tipped 20% on top of the bill.

This was my first time at ZuZu’s and I must say this was an amazing experience. Tay and Rosario was amazing and attentive. They made my night of celebration even more memorable and special.

The treatment by the staff upfront when you first walk in to be seated was horrible. Rude not friendly at all, and actually ruins the rest of the experience.

Great Birthday experience!! Music was great. Food was great. The only thing we were not aware of was the service fee on top of the gratuity. It was quite expensive.

We had a great experience here! Our server was so attentive and gave us great recommendations. The food was spectacular. Highly recommend the braised beef spring rolls and the Beef Udon dish, flavor was unmatched. The decor also takes the experience up a notch, you can tell a lot of thought went into each piece. Overall, a 10/10 and we will definitely be back!
