Such an Amazing experience at Evelyn’s!! Welcome Mimossa.. beautiful floral bouquet and a fabulous meal! Service was spot on and atmosphere was delightful.. we will definitely be back.

Table next to open windows allowing beautiful fresh air and sunshine in. Delicious food and wonderful service. Mother's day perks included flowers and free mimosas.

This was my second time eating here, first time on a special occasion. The food was excellent. I was disappointed that although I was given a choice of “Mother’s Day brunch” or “standard brunch” when making the reservation, there was only a set price, multi-course option available upon arrival. It was much pricier than I was expecting because of that. The servers seemed either new or in need of more training. They could answer minimal questions about the menu without going back to ask and 3 out of 4 courses had to be sent back for one member of my party due to a dietary restriction that kept being forgotten. There was a rather lengthy wait- both for the table we had reserved to be seated and for each menu item. I will return, as I thought the food and ambience was great. I will likely reconsider coming back for a special occasion due to the unexpected time and cost involved.

Excellent Mother's Day Brunch experience! I loved all the little touches of the beautiful floral wall for photos, complimentary mimosa cart and the make your own flower bouquet. Those all made it a more special experience as well as the great food, ambiance and service at Evelyns! I will definitely come back.

This is located inside of the Hutton hotel. Loved the ambiance and decorations. The service was great. We came close to closing but ordered right away. The jalapeño cornbread and brussel sprouts were amazing as well as the scallops with risotto.

Best dirty martini in Nashville… so far! All 3 of us had braised short rib and it was fabulous. Portions are healthy. Our server Annie was a joy. She was professional and made our evening.

Annie, I believe that was our waitress name, was great. She gave great recommendations and was very personable. The ambiance was very elegant, perfect date night spot. The food and drinks were delicious, definitely my favorite spot for the weekend. We will be back whenever we’re in town!

The ambiance was absolutely beautiful. A really great space. The food however was pretty bland. I think with more seasoning the dishes could be wonderful. The service was also lacking. This place has so much potential, hopefully they work out the kinks.

Drinks were great! I had an espresso martini and it was perfect! Easter brunch menu was different courses and a choice of two items you could select one of each course for $55 person. First was two muffins, each smaller than a golf ball so basically one bite. Second was deviled egg or bacon, my husband got the egg and I got bacon. They brought 1 deviled egg (half an egg) and 3 small bite size pieces of bacon. Next was pulled pork hash and eggs, potatoes. It was delicious. I had biscuit and gravy and the biscuit was so hard I had to use a knife to break it apart. They offered carrot cake and strawberry pudding, they ran out of carrot cake so they offered date cake and it was delicious. All in all is wasn’t horrible but I would not go back for brunch. The waitress was fabulous, so service was wonderful.

Definitely skip Evelyn’s. We made the mistake of having Easter brunch here. We were lured in by the wonderful-sounding price-fixe menu but the food was a huge disappointment. The portion sizes were extremely small and the food quality was awful. They charged us $55 a piece and we left hungry. That price did not include coffee (another $4) and tea (an additional $5). The waiter asked if we wanted more coffee and never brought it. Examples of the portion sizes include beet salad with 1 beet, French toast sticks that was a 1/2 piece of bread and a blueberry muffin that was the smallest micro muffin I have ever seen. The food that was supposed to be hot was lukewarm and the food that was supposed to be cold was lukewarm. Absolutely awful and I have a stomach ache to boot.

Horrible!!! We had a 2:00 reservation..: arrived at 1:50. We were sat at table with out ANY acknowledgement (no water…. Nothing) until we went up to the hostess at 2:10. Asked if the server knew we were sitting there, since it was now 20 minutes with no greet. She did NOT apologize… said she would “message the server”. We waited ANOTHER 10 mins and decided to leave. While we waited we saw at least 4 servers AND the manager taking pictures at the photo kiosk. The other server that did not seem busy was on her phone the entire time we waited. When we left, we walked past about 4 staff members and the manager, they did not have any acknowledgment to us leaving. Just saying this was NOT a busy place. Never had this happen bf and glad to give our business elsewhere. Sad it was on Easter. Do better Evelyn’s.

Easter brunch was a hit with the family. Definitely recommended. Service and food were very good, and beautiful atmosphere. The deviled egg, and the pork hash were amazing!

I was not impressed at all with their Easter brunch. Preset menu…everything tasted like it had been sitting out or was over cooked. Mini blueberry muffin…hard as a rock. French toast sticks…hard and lukewarm. Biscuit was overcooked and also hard as a rock. I am now hesitant to return and try anything else. For the money they charged, it was not worth it.

Food was delicious but the entrees came out too early. Kitchen should have allowed more time. We were still working on cocktails and small plates. We were wanting to order wine with the entrees and wound up nibbling on the entrees for nearly 10-15 minutes waiting on a couple of glasses of wine. Next time well wait before we put in an order for the entree.

Not a happy camper. The atmosphere is great, but our experience was not. Food took way too long to come out. And when it did, the scallops were too salty, and the crab cakes were well done. Short ribs were excellent. The fourth dish at our table was completely missing. They forgot the grilled chicken Caesar salad. But even that simple dish took so long the other diners were finished by the time they brought that out. Ridiculous. Manager Dan was too scared to even come to our table to address the situation, and as a former waiter, bartender, and restaurant manager - I was ticked off he left waitress hanging. They comped most of dinner, and I appreciate that, but I will never return.

Evelyn’s was great. The food was the star of the show for sure. So tasty, fresh, and high quality ingredients. Crab cake, amazing. Ambiance depends on where you sit. I’d prefer toward center of restaurant. Prices were reasonable. I’m very picky and I’ll definitely go back

The food and service were great but it was 7:30am in the morning and the music was VERY loud. We asked to have it turned down, as we were trying to have a business breakfast but it was never adjusted.

We had a wonderful meal at Evelyn’s. It was nice to hear about the history of who Evelyn was. The brussels sprouts were amazing, scallops, tasty, and the short ribs were sublime.

Food outstanding. Sadly they suffer from being understaffed. Seemed to have one server, mgr Dan jumped in to help as did someone from kitchen. Beautiful renovated space and opened to the beautiful night air outside on west end ave/bway. West of all the downtown chaos!

We enjoyed our brunch here. We loved the decor of the restaurant and the hotel. The food was very good. My friend had the yogurt and granola and said it was excellent. I had the breakfast sandwich with a sausage patty. I love the sauce that came on the sandwich. I loved that the valet parking was complimentary. Overall, the food was excellent and the price was great!

I am in love with Evelyn’s! It’s definitely a hidden gem. I had never even heard of it but now I’ll definitely be going there atleast monthly. The entire staff was amazing! Our server Lindsey was very knowledgeable about the menu and she was super kind and friendly. The manager, a black guy was super awesome too. I was walking around looking for a place to plug up ny phone and he offered to plug it up for me at the host stand. He also checked on us several times throughout the night. The food was anazingggggg!! And it was so reasonably priced. I had the oven roasted chicken. It was super tender and juicy. It came with potatoes and asparagus that were also delicious. My friend had scallops. I didn’t try the scallops but the risotto that it came on top of was life changing! That was the best risotto I ever had in my life. I had dreams about that risotto. It was soo creamy and good. My other friend had sea bass and it was delicious as well. I plan on going back and getting the sea bass on top of the risotto. The cocktails were great! I had the “glamor girl” and the “train to no where.” They were both strong and delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my entire experience and this might be my new favorite restaurant in Nashville. I feel like usually this quality of food costs like $50-60 just for the entree and then you have to purchase sides for an additional costs. All our entrees were between $28-$35 and they came with some type of side. The ambiance was great. It was cute. I can’t wait to go back!!

We really wanted to enjoy this experience, because our other evenings in Nashville had been terrific. Sadly, from our waiting for a table in a 60% vacant restaurant, unusual delays for things like water, or even getting a recommendation for a bourbon selection from a bartender who claims to only drink scotch. they clearly seemed understaffed because tables were not cleared the entire time we were there. Our table was near the entrance to the bar, and the music bled into our space making it difficult to have a conversation given how empty the restaurant was, I was a bit surprised the hostess even sat us there. Despite the issues with culture and Service, the food was quite good. The wedge salad included avocado, and was clearly sized for two people; it was fresh and delicious. However, that made up for the cornbread that came in a baking dish or crock that was without form and did not hold together for entrées. The short ribs were delicious and the ribeye steak was of good quality but over salted. The wine list had something for everyone but very few choices below $70. It’s a pretty room and I hope they get their culture and work ethic resolved .

Everything was so good! The scallops were amazing! Stephen was an awesome server and the sundae for dessert is so much fun! Will def be back!

A welcomed treat, I invited guests and gave a thank you to my team. The service was outstanding, the food well portioned and delicious, all in a setting that was outstanding! Thank you for an amazing experience.

Tried Evelyn's for the first time. We got there early so we started with happy hour in the bar. They had a very nice happy hour menu and the ambiance/service was very nice. we moved into the dining room for dinner. Comfortable seating and great service! The menu had a nice selection. I had the short rib and my friend had a lobster pasta - both were delicious. I look forward to coming back soon!

This place is amazing. It has a really cool vibe, everyone is so friendly, and the food is fantastic. We had the potato chips with blue cheese dip, which was so good. I had it with a glass of Pinot Noir & my husband had Riesling & both were exceptional pairings. The wedge is one of the best I've had in Nashville- it's traditional wedge with a twist, as they added avocado & some cabbage that really elevated the salad. A great blend that was so tasty. We shared the ribeye & subbed fries- the steak was so flavorful, just perfectly seasoned and cooked. We ended with the tawny port although several deserts looked really good if we hadn't been so full. They offer free valet parking & free 2 hr self parking. The location is really easy to get to & very convenient to mid-town & downtown. They also are prepping to bring outside seating with the better weather that may be dog friendly (double check). We highly recommend this place. They remodeled & re-opened last June & it doesn't look like it's getting a lot of notice. The signage is subtle so you have to know you're going there. I highly recommend that you give them a try- we will definitely be back.
