We had a horrendous experience dining at Eva this morning. We mistakenly made a reservation at Eva for brunch this morning, as it is a place I’ve walked past 20+ times and thought was adorable. When we arrived, we were told there was no room on the patio and were seated inside (upstairs). There was one waiter for the entire floor of 20+ tables. There were flies everywhere. Our waiter was not attentive. In addition to the terrible service, it took almost an hour for our food to arrive. The eggs in the shakshuka appeared to be poached but were not. One of the people in our party asked for a condiment which never came. We were dying to get out of there and certainly will not be returning. Disappointed to say the least considering how beautiful the restaurant is. Horrible service and terrible food.

We love Eva! They have one of the best patios on Newbury St. They have fantastic sangria, both red and white. They have delicious food. The service is excellent. We go there every summer.

The service was fantastic and the food and drinks were great. The acoustics of the downstairs makes for an annoying ambiance as it is hard to hear and converse with your table. Easy fix, yet why haven't they done anything? Would definitely go back though for the reasons stated, would just sit outside on patio or try upstairs. This review should be taken as very positive!!

Service was superb but food was barely fair (except for the salad which was hard to ruin Noise level was ridiculous. Almost impossible to to have a conversation

The restaurant is very pleasant, although the outdoors is somewhat better than the indoors, if it's not too cold. The menu is great, especially for sharing, but the service is really slow, and it's hard to get any attention at all from the server. We worked pretty hard just to place an order. After that, the food and drinks arrived with normal timing, but then it was really hard to finally get someone's attention in order to pay the bill. Otherwise, it was pretty good.

Excellent excellent food. Our waitress was very busy but she managed the tables well considering. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. A bit expensive but very pleased overall.
