Our server, Jess, was excellent! And all those who helped serve alongside her were also really wonderful. The food was largely perfect and delicious, except for the Pompano, which was a little tough and did taste fishy. Not a big deal- we just won’t order that the next time. The place is lovely and fun though it’s unfortunate that the patio is situated next to a busy street, but that wasn’t so much of a noise problem as the occasionally pounding music. Not a reason not to come back- we will just ask to sit farther away from the speaker next time. Ezov’s a really great place that we will recommend to others. Thanks!

Very interesting menu with many exotic flavors and ingredients. Our waitress was most helpful in guiding us in our selections.

We opted to sit at the bar and had a great experience. Two friendly and knowledgeable bartenders waited on us. The food came promptly and was delicious!

My wife and I arrived for our weekly date and were seated within a few minutes. Server came over right away. Answered our questions and stage the food for arrival which was great. Food delicious. Drinks cold & plates removed quickly when done earing the plate. Strongly recommended.

First time to Ezov...thoroughly enjoyed the food ...Freno, falafel, chicken Shawarma, olive oil cake... it wasn't too noisy as some reviews mentioned. I highly recommend Ezov!!

It was fun, but not as great as the reviews and not a good value. Disclaimer, we didn’t order any lamb dishes which could have been great. We sat at the bar. Service was substandard, the bartender looked unshowered, and she almost cried when we asked for clean plates. Hummus was OK, not special. Cocktails were above average but also not awesome. Loved the decor. The place is light with a great, upbeat vibe. But that doesn’t make up for the rest IMO.

I was in town to visit dear friends for just two nights, one of which we spent with you all at Esov. The food and the service were both well above average. The highlights were numerous and a favorite would be impossible to pick. A few of the most memorable flavor combinations were the bouyant tang of labne underneath the hearty smoke of the charred cabbage as well as the supple eggplant in the Sabich that was enlivened by the perfect crunch of roasted chickpeas. The pillowy, zaataar-frena bread w lamb butter became a conversation piece throughout the meal, as we challenged each other to order more even while we our appetites began to wane. Our server was knowledgeable and offered spirited guidance for four first-time diners. The one drawback was the decibel level of the background music which made our dinner talk difficult to hear. Despite that, we had a great time and will visit again when given the opportunity. Thanks so much for providing us with an thoughtfully prepared and well-executed meal.

Loved being able to share and taste a variety of delicious dishes. The menu offered some great choices and we enjoyed everything we ordered. The service was excellent. Nice bar as well. Will have to go back to try other things on the menu

INCREDIBLE experience at Ezov. No stone was left unturned from the fun atmosphere, incredible service, and innovative food and drink options. We were talking about this meal weeks after we visited for my birthday. What a unique dining experience in one of our favorite neighborhoods in Austin, HIGHLY recommend and we will be back soon!

I just keep coming back for the most delishous middleastern food found. It's mostly about the spices! When I take a bite the food explodes with flavor. My favorite is the falafel! The falafel has just the right crunch as you take a bite with a rich mix of greens and spices making it a must dish! Our service is always terrrific. I think it was Gaby who served us. Her honesty and humor when recommending dishes was delightful making the expreince so top notch! I always enjoy sharing food here with family and friends.

Wow! This place did not disappoint. From the cabbage to the lamb special, hummus dip, bread and toffee pudding dessert!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It was a little loud inside (rainy outside so chillier in the tent).

Valet was quick and easy, and our reservation was right on time. The service was attentive and friendly, from the host stand to the main server and auxiliary servers. The food was well-presented and delicious, and the flavors were unexpected and extraordinary. Cocktails were spot-on and consistent. It may have been one of the best meals I've had in Austin, if not anywhere. As others have said, it is quite loud in there, but we didn't mind. It was appropriate for the atmosphere.

Nice server, subpar food, good drinks. Falafel had promise, but the outside was over fried and thicker than the inside which actually tasted good. Chicken schwarma was lacking in flavor all around - would not recommend.

We booked a table for outdoor/patio. Upon arrival, the restaurant was busy and running behind, so the hostess said she'd have us sit at the bar for now, and come back and move us later when a table becomes available. The hostess never came back, nor did she communicate, so we sat the bar the entire evening. It was okay to sit at the bar, however despite having 2 bartenders and only half the bar seating filled, it was incredibly difficult to get the attention of the staff to help order or get a refill on water. The bartenders seemingly were busy washing liquor bottles than looking up and checking on customers. At one point, a very kind couple seated a few seats down noticed our multiple attempts trying to call on someone, that they helped flag down a person to send to us. Good ambience for a date night, the music wasn't too loud. Food was average, some good items. It was strange that the Hummus came with no pita bread and just 4 slices of onion. Were they expecting us to eat the whole dish by dipping onion only? We saw a separate table get pita bread, so weren't sure if that was ordered separately (wasn't on the menu), but it was too difficult to get any waiter/waitress/bartender to ask the question that we stopped bothering.

By our standards, sitting at the bar should be the same experience as sitting at a table in the dining room and it sounds like we missed the mark during your dinner. We are still learning and growing as a team and this is something we will address with both our bar team and host team so that we can continue to improve.

Amazing meal! Especially loved the crudo, cauliflower, cucumbers, and shawarma. Cocktails were great. I recommend the patio if you don’t love loud. It was super comfortable, at least in April.

Took 45min after sit down to finally get food at our table even though it was on a slower Sunday night. Oversold us on the number dishes needed (said 4-6, should have been 3-4 as there was way more food than necessary). Each dip needed a separate order of bread which seems ridiculous--imagine ordering guacamole at a Mexican restaurant and then being asked if you want to order a side of chips for it. Waiter barely came by to ask how our food was. Just simple easy stuff got messed up.

Very rude employee or manager, a young white male with short hair, wearing all black, and who was not our server, came to our table with out any greeting or introduction or courtesy and basically told us to wrap things up and leave. This was not even 1.5 hours into our reservation, not even an offer of a desert menu was made. Apart from this, they serve hummus and dips with no bread of crackers, how exactly are we to eat dip without having bread, crackers, chips etc served along with it? All in all, we wouldn’t return.

Great creative yummy take On Israeli food. Didn’t need them to say middle eastern food when it is clearly Israeli felt they were shying away politically. . They should celebrate Israel. Also noise level way too loud. I can handle the talking loud. But the music was turned up way too much. This was my complaint last time as well. Could improve the wine list. There are fabulous Israeli wines better and more interesting than the Yarden cab on the list. Happy to talk to the somm about this. Israel has a highly developed and award winning wine industry. Why not do a Passover Seder ? In LA. Spago always does one among other high end restaurants. ?

We were not familiar with any of the food except hummus; BUT we had an incredible waiter. He explained what everything was and gave recommendations. Everything we had was delish!! I would definitely love to come back here again!
