I took my mom to Enzo's for Mother's Day dinner We had a few issues during the evening. First, my mom asked for decaf tea and she instead got coffee. The waiter replaced it but then we didn't get our pasta dishes. We let the waiter know and he wrapped it to go, which was fine but we just checked our bags and the waiter did not pack our veal, string beans, and croquettes. We had a whole conversation with the second gentleman who came to clear our plates and he made sure to stack what we wanted wrapped in one hand. When we brought our take-home bags, we assumed everything was right. Until we got home and realized our food was missing. The waiter was kind and ended up comping a free drink for me but the rest of these issues ruined my mom's day. We've been going to Enzo's for years and this lack of listening and attention to detail is really disappointing. A nearly $200 dinner with this many mistakes is really unacceptable.

My family and I have been frequent guests at Enzos restaurant for many years. It never fails to provide the best food and very good service at all times. I actually had my favorite, which is the Osso Buco with risotto.

Best authentic Italian food in the Bronx, and even better because it is a neighborhood joint without the tourist crowd seen on Arthur Avenue, and one of the best Italian eateries in all of NYC.

Waiter was great. Food was really delicious. French martinis weren't to our liking. Ratio seemed off. I've also been there a couple other times sitting at the bar and heard the waiter order drinks for the tables by brand name (ex:Grey Goose) and then watched the bartender (older grey haired gentleman) proceed to make the drink with Absolut or a cheaper brand. I don't like that. If I order a particular liquor, I expect my drink to be made with that liquor.

Top to bottom, great experience at this local Italian, red-sauce spot! Food is amazing, especially fried meatball appie and their gnocchi parm! Servers are helpful and attentive. Always looking for a reason to return, even though it’s a 45 minute drive!

Overall was good. The only thing I wanted to point out is we noted there was a special occasion (birthday) but it wasn’t acknowledged by the restaurant staff during our dinner.

Enzo's is one of our favorite restaurants. My husband chose it for his birthday dinner. This time we shared the fried meatballs as an appetizer (very tasty, a little spicy, not your typical Italian meatballs) and for main courses we had the chicken scarpariello (with sausage, etc.) and the veal cutlet martini. We were both very happy with our choices. Portions are large (as is the amount of wine in a glass). Espresso is served with anisette. Staff is friendly and service is very good.

This was my 2nd time here as I was visiting in the Bronx. The food was excellent which is why I returned. Service was attentive! Definitely recommend- you won’t be disappointed!

My girlfriend and I booked a reservation for 8:00 PM. We arrived on a timely manner and were seated immediately. We get the menu and at about 8:10PM we order. I love calamari, so I always get it no matter what restaurant. We get the calamari in about five minutes, however we also ordered two orders of pasta. I forgot specifically which ones (I think bolognese for one of them). We eat the calamari and it was very delicious with the sauce, however it is now 8:50 and we still haven’t received our actual food. Everyone else is getting their food ahead of us. I go to the waiter and I get no explanation. We leave with just eating Calamari on Valentine’s Day; phenomenal.

Live in Florida, and every time we come to NY ( 3 -4 times a year ) this is a must for us. Always a good meal at a very moderate price.

I had a wonderful experience with my family. The restaurant was buzzing and very busy, but we were off to corner with beautiful decor around us for pictures. The waiter was very friendly and accommodating, and the food was delicious. I would recommend bringing the family here.

We had a great experience. Our first time. We had the stuffed artichoke it was enormous but tender & delicious! All our entrees were well portioned and delicious. Save room for dessert… the lemon cheesecake tart was a perfect finish to a great meal.

As usual, both of the food and service were spot on. I had a wonderful veal dish with cherry peppers, onions, tomatoes, and shiitake mushrooms. The veal was tender as could be and you can cut it with your fork. My wife had the Branzino fillets Which were cooked perfectly. There is a reason we keep coming back to this restaurant… It’s that good!

We were seated in their extended room on the perimeter of the building. It’s a permanent structure that was probably added on during covid. It was warm and comfortable there. Our server came over quickly and took our order. The food was outstanding and plentiful. Our only issue was we were served very quickly. We had baked clams, calamari and salads, which all came out together. We would have preferred some time between those. We were barely finished with our appetizers and the food came out. We had to move plates around to make room. That was the annoying part of the meal. If you go I would recommend asking them to serve a little slower. The restaurant was not packed, no one was waiting for a table, so no reason to rush, imo.

Fantastic local spot with a great selection of fresh and well prepared southern Italian dishes. Seafood salad was tender and full of flavor. Pork brociole melting in my mouth.
