Enoteca Molinari is a great place to eat! Small, tight menu, with some delicious options. I enjoy their main courses a lot and have trouble deciding between my 3 favorites - the pillowy gnocchi, the savory, salty saltimboca, or (the star!) the tagliatelle with a delicious meat ragu. Good wine list, and they have nice appetizers, salads, and tasty desserts as well. The staff is great as well. Molinari is sort of a vibe - a small, opinionated neighborhood place, with really delicious food. It expanded into a neighboring storefront a few years ago, and now it's easier to get a table! Still has the delicious food, and still the feel of a great neighborhood place. Highly recommended!

Wonderful, tasty Italian food. Really nice and welcoming staff. Minor error, their Saltimboca, although delicious, bears no resemblance to what actual Italian Saltimboca actually is! Veal is to be flattened thin and then covered with fine Prosciutto. Seared quickly but gently in heavy butter and lightly herbed it should be sauced with a light duxelles of a Marsala base. Best served with very delicate potatoes and vegetables ( green preferred). Or perhaps an Orichieto. Enoteca basically served a well cooked small trio of pork loin.

We shared two appetizers. The calamari and little gems. Both excellent. I had the ravioli special with beet purée which was delicious and my husband had the tagliatelle with ragu. The large portion meant I have left overs for lunch. The restaurant was quiet for a Saturday night and service was attentive. All great but they should have been busy. The food is always so good.

Very good dining options - with repeat visits we have sampled most of them. Extensive and interesting wine list. Calm, uncrowded, relaxing and stylish ambience. Engaging and attentive staff. It feels like an all-too-brief visit to Italy.

Had a great experience at Enoteca Molinari. Met a friend for some drinks and some light bites and I want to go back to have a full meal. Staff was engaging and helpful. Food was delicious. Nice dining room. Will definitely be back.

This is a lovely gem in our neighborhood. The food was delicious, with a menu that balanced comfort and creativity. I don't remember the wine that they served, but the staff recommended it, and it complemented our meal. Would definitely come again. And again.

Not sure why this place has such high ratings. I'm a foodie, so maybe that's the issue but the food was just OK. It wasn't bad, just not great.

Liked the food. It took nearly 1 hour for our main dishes. No problem - we were with friends but not a good thing to have happen. Seemed understaffed which I can understand.

The food was outstanding and the service was attentive yet casual, which was a nice combination. Tagliatelle with meat sugo was divine, arancini balls were quite tasty. Will definitely come back!

We have long enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and simple, healthy food offerings at Enoteca. It remains on our short-list of favored restaurants. Went there for a delayed Valentine's Day dinner. Enjoyed very much.

My husband and I have dined at Enoteca twice now and have enjoyed it both time. Actually, we enjoyed it even more the second time because of the warm ambience. The menu is simple with not too many options but just enough to satisfy our desire for home made pasta made by an Italian home grown chef. The wine selection is excellent and if I ever decide to have a close-to-home authentic Italian meal with a group that enjoys wine, this would be my first choice.

Our host suggested the best cheese and meats: la tur, salami, fennel, prosciutto! The ravioli valentines special was delicious, so was the swordfish. Our bartender was very attentive and pleasant to be around. Paired everything with a Chianti.

This small spot in Rockridge is one of the best. The food is excellent and the service is warm and welcoming. I will be back soon.

I love this place! I particularly like the pan sautéed swordfish and vegetables, the lemon vinegrette dressing on the lattuga salad, and the pane cotta with kumquats. The ambience is relaxing, with a terrific jazz playlist, and simple décor. Wine list is excellent and carefully chosen by the owner. The wait staff is very knowledgeable and attentive. I highly recommend it.

Got seated about 30 minutes after our reservation, which wasn’t a big deal except then they didn’t offer us drinks for at least another 20 min! Felt like we were inconveniencing them because we were there late- of no fault of our own but the service kind of stopped. We weren’t offered water for most of the meal even though out cups were empty. Overpowering bleach smell at the end of dinner. Orechiette was bland and lacked olive oil and salt. Broccolini was overly bitter. I lived in Puglia for 2 years so my standards are high, however.

Quiet Saturday evening; seated promptly. Menu doesn't change much, but food is very good. Calamari salad is very fresh and bright, albeit a bit light on the calamari. Arugula salad quite tasty. Cauliflower gratin was delicious; the gnocchi was a rich, pillowly treat, although could have used more speck and radicchio. Panna cotta was delicious. 2019 Isola e Olena Chianti was elegant and lovely.

Excellent authentic Italian food! The fennel and calamari salad was tasty. The beets with Gorgonzola was incredibly delicious. I loved the pasta with sage and browned butter. We also enjoyed the swordfish which was sliced thinly, the way it’s served in Sicily (rather than the way swordfish is usually served in the US - enormous T-bone thickness). I highly recommend Enoteca Molinari for an authentic, delicious Italian meal.

Wonderful food, we loved it. Decor was strangely downscale. Ugly, brutalist tables. No tablecloths. Bright lights. No carpets. Disappointing. But the food was absolutely terrific. Were I the manager, I would give the chef a raise and hire an interior decorator.

Our dinner was excellent. Reasonable sized portions...not huge. We felt satisfied and not stuffed. Prices were reasonable as well. Service was very good. We had arugula salad, butternut squash pasta and swordfish and our friends also let us try their pork. All delicious.

Delicious from start to finish!! The arancini were fabulous as well as the pastas, the swordfish and the pork. Dessert, a chocolate budino and an almond cake, were both excellent.
