Enigma is an intimate modern European style fine-dining restaurant located in the heart of Toronto’s historic Yorkville neighbourhood, nestled on picturesque St. Thomas Street and surrounded by mid-century and modern architecture. We celebrate the best of local and international ingredients, treating them with respect and elevating integrity above all else, by serving a seasonal evolving evening tasting menu.

This restaurant definitely lives up to it's Michelin Star (well earned) and then some. Not only fantastic, creative food but service and a personality to match.

Thank you for the wonderful dining experience. Truly enjoyed the selections and presentations. The Enigma team were constantly operating to ensure everyone’s experience was the best possible. Every member was on point and very knowledgeable. Was even impressed to have Chef Bennett tableside to present a couple offerings personally. All the courses were exceptionally delicious. Few outliers were the Tuna Taco, Caviar butter Sea Urchin, Lobster Coconut (which included a pickled side which I normally dislike but was surprisingly delicious) and the Wagyu bone marrow lavender. It must also be mentioned, our Sommelier (David Ouellette) kept the evening high-spirited with interesting perspectives and selections to explore. The evening topper with a Chartreuse was clever and magical. Our visit was shortly after L'Atelier De Joël Robuchon in Las Vegas. Enigma was head and shoulders above in food, service, atmosphere, and experience. Top marks team! You did yourselves and Toronto proud. Thanks again.

You get what you pay for, and every dollar is earned at Enigma. If I could afford to eat here every night I would. It is for most people a once in a lifetime kind of meal but is for sure something worth doing. The one and only thing I wish was that there was a substitute for the chocolate dessert. I’d give this 999/1000 just because they couldn’t make a small change to the chocolate, but other than that there were no faults.

Impeccable service and food. I was definitely impressed and pleasantly surprised. I can see why they earned a Michelin star. Very nice restaurant and experience. Food was creative and delicious. I highly recommend Enigma.
