Dinner at Empire Steak was a fabulous dinning experience to spend Mother's Day with my daughter-in -law and her mother. The staff was amazingly great, the food was awesome. Can't wait to go back with my husband.

Definitly a 5 star experience. Unlike most of the steakhouses, the tables are spaced out nicely so you can actualy enjoy your dinner and have a private conversation. No loud 80s rock , just nice music that contribuited to romantic atmosfere for our 46th weding aniversary. Great attentive service , food came out on time and coocked perfect. Thank you Empire

My friend and I went to the Empire for their Pre-Theatre menu before attending a show on Broadway. This was the BEST meal and service we had in our entire week in New York. Ridi, the manager, looked after us like VIP's and the food was absolutely awesome!My only regret is that I was leaving the next day, so couldn't return for one of their steaks, but I'll definitely be back. They are worth every 5 star review they get!! Just GO!!

It was truly amazing. How attentive everyone was outstanding. We had oysters which we super fresh and the tuna tartare which was also super fresh. The server recommended a bottle of wine which was bold with a smooth aftertaste. We had the. NY Strip Steak medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. I could not be more satisfied with the temperature or the meat. It was served sizzling hot as it arrived to the table. We also had a seafood pasta that was cooked al dente and we after for a bit of spice like the fra di voló . The pasta was filled with seafood and they accompanied it with fresh bread and Parmesan cheese. It was our anniversary and we were given a complimentary desert and we accompanied it with two single serves of expresso. I wish I had not been so full, because the tiramisu was out of this world. I picked at it but how moist it was was truly amazing. We were then offered a complimentary drink . Our evening could not have been better. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone . We will definitely be coming back.

I don’t understand how this place received such high marks. I frequent fine steak houses and other fine restaurants, but this one, while on the outside seems it will deliver… just doesn’t. To begin…. The overpriced shrimp cocktail fell flat on flavor and was extremely bland. The only hope to save this was the cocktail sauce and lemon. Don’t order if you plan to taste the shrimp. Next came the filet. While the flavor was definitely there, the exterior had quite a thick crunchy bark. Not what I would expect from a place with “Steak House” in their name. By the way, none of the servers knew where the plates went. It was extremely unprofessional. The asparagus was fine, but again very bland. I ordered sparkling water with limes and was given limes that were fresh maybe a week ago. Couldn’t squeeze any juice out of them and the rind was as hard as a shell. Finally, I set my final hopes on a good lava cake only to be extremely disappointed. Since I make these myself I knew what was wrong. No lava…..it was overcooked and hidden with ice cream. Lava cakes cannot be overcooked or you end up with just a cake. The 2 teaspoons of ice cream for $5 was already half melted upon arrival. I had high hopes for this place since we were a party of 5. I don’t know if the rest of my party will review, but they all had overdone steaks. No red in the medium rare….. that’s unforgivable. Step it up, Empire.

We dined here twice in 3 days. Our first experience was so good that we wanted to return. Our first visit we had octopus, tuna tartare, hearts of lettuce salad and octopus dinner entree. Best cheesecake ever for dessert. Service was excellent and personable. We returned last night for dinner. This time we had our octopus, … filet, and rack of lamb. Sometimes you have a wonderful experience, only to find next time that it is not quite the same. I can say that our experience was even better. Thank you to the manager and staff for making our time in NYC so special. It was the best restaurant we experienced. . . .

We had an excellent dining experience! The food was delicious and our waiter, Peter, was very attentive to our needs and requests. The manager stopped by to check in with us that we were happy with our meals and the service. The waiters and the manager even came by our table to sing "Happy Birthday" to my friend whose birthday we were celebrating. I would highly recommend going to Empire Steak House - Times Square to enjoy a meal!

LOVED LOVED LOVED! I can’t say enough about this restaurant, from the different kinds of food to the service! We happened upon this restaurant while visiting New York. The menu is innovative without being too much. Our waiter provided great service and was very knowledgeable about how the entrees were prepared. Everything was wonderful!
