I went to the Athens location with my son the week before. I was excited to bring my wife to the Atlanta location. Pizza and breadstcks came out within minutes of each other. Pizza was not done in middle. Overall a let down from the Athens location. Service started out good and after order was taken, felt deserted.

We arrived & were the only guests in the restaurant. The young lady came & brought water, & didn’t come back for almost 20 minutes. I ordered a Skinny Margarita Pitcher for the table. It took awhile for it to come out. Again, we were the only people there. Ordered the Mozzarella Sticks as an appetizer. I wanted a Caesar Salad or Chopped Italian, They said they were out of lettuce & items to make the salads. The server stated the owner went to the grocery store and should be back shortly. I created a Classic Pizza & added mushrooms, red onion & sausage. It was mainly sauce. I’ve dined here 3 times. One other time was with the ladies I was with. It was a disappointment. The service was terrible and food was mediocre. You would think the service would’ve been exceptional, but it was the opposite. If items weren’t available when the restaurant opened, the staff/owner should’ve had enough “Salad” items prior to opening. I hope other guests don’t have the same experience we had. The price & quantity don’t match. I enjoy dining out & supporting logical neighborhood eateries. However, providing customer service no matter how busy or not shouldn’t be a determination.

Fantastic service from start to finish! We were having a going away dinner for a coworker and asked for recommendations. The drinks were great, the burgers were tasty, the Brussel sprouts salad was an unexpected find and adding the bacon made it great. Will definitely return, this time for pizza.

We made reservations for dinner on a Saturday night at 6:00pm before going to a concert at 8:00pm nearby. We got there and the place was mostly empty and it remained that way throughout our meal. We asked to sit outside since the weather was nice but I think that was likely our mistake. Our server seemed to forget about us at times. We were not in a hurry at all, but it ultimately took us all 2 hours to order and eat. My friend's son ordered the chicken parm sandwich (no marinara) but it never came with our food. I had to go inside to ask about the sandwich twice, the second time they took the sandwich off the check and said it was almost out. The server told me that something had happened to the kitchen printer that caused the issue(it seemed to us that he maybe forgot to put it in). They ended up bringing it to us to go and we paid and left in a hurry because at this point we were late for the concert and had to drop off her son's sandwich at the airbnb nearby. When we got home from the concert the son went to go eat it and of course, there was sauce all over it. We had to go pick up late night food to make sure he had something to eat! I don't think we would return here to eat if we were back in town. The food was pretty good overall which was a plus but the service was really not great.

Horrible service. The only person in the entire restaurant helping anyone was the host. Multiple tables had to flag him down just so he could go get the waitstaff. Would look around and there wouldn’t be a single server in sight. Good pizza, but a bad experience.

The food was great, but we had terrible service. The restaurant was empty (we initially thought it was closed despite having a res). No one came over for the longest time, took forever to get our drinks out and same thing with the bill. Our food was pretty good, just disappointing after having a great experience there in Nashville.

I’ve been to Emmy Squared several times and this was the worst experience I’ve had. Every staff member was poorly trained and it felt like it was their first day on the job. Our waitress forgot to put in several things that we ordered, the bartender took 25 minutes to make just 2 drinks, the food tasted like it was microwaved, and the cherry on top was the A/C not working so it was about 85°F inside the restaurant. Having to continually remind the waitress that we’re missing food, missing drinks, and need more water, got exhausting. I’d also say Emmy Squared is significantly over priced because the bill total was not worth the level of service we got.

The food was great, but our server was so rude and acted like we were bothering her every time we asked for something (i.e throwing napkins on the table). They also forgot to put our pizza orders in and realized after 45 minutes so it took almost 2 hours to get our pizza. Then the server was even more rude when we asked for a higher discount when paying due to the poor service. The pizza was delicious, but the horrible service makes me not want to go back.

Emmy Squared provided a great dining experience on a Saturday night. It was not overly crowded. Our server was very descriptive in the menu. Once we ordered, our food came out hot and fresh. We ordered the Colony, Garlic cheese sticks and the boneless wings. I definitely recommend this place.

I have to say, this location has really gone downhill in the past 12 months. It feels like they have prioritized West Midtown over Glenwood Park, and I would really not be shocked if they shut this location down at some point. The pizza was almost too salty to eat, the parmigiana sandwich was literally burned in the deep fryer, and clearly it was old oil, it just tasted off. The burger was great as always, as was the Cesar salad. As a resident of Glenwood Park, I had high hopes for Emmy and perhaps they can sill save this location, but it’s going to take a lot more focus by the management to do so.

We came to Emmy Squared before a show at The Eastern - made a reservation on a Saturday but it wasn’t necessary as the place was mostly empty (patio was full). The hostesses weren’t very friendly but our waitress was great. We ordered drinks, mozzarella sticks, the chicken parm sandwich and a classic pizza with mushrooms. Drinks were very slow to come out but they were great drinks (we ordered 4 total - paloma, skinny marg, vesper, and an orange cream rum drink) The pizza was amazing. The sandwich and and app were good, but not eager to order them again. We got out within about an hour - I thought it was a little overpriced but overall a good experience and we would definitely come back!

Great Detroit style pizza. Short staffed the night we were there, so service was subpar. Poor waitresses (2) were definitely overworked. Food was good enough to draw me back.

This was our first time trying this restaurant. We were seated quickly and our server, Dawn was so attentive and ensured that our food was out in a timely and well paced fashion. Food was fantastic, this will absolutely be an easy go-to for us. Def recommend the ria fries and the margarita pizza. The pizza was only 6 square slices but had a thick/fluffy crust and it had the two of us so full with leftovers to take home.

We were ignored for ten mins after arriving at the restaurant. Us and another couple were stood at the door and watched multiple servers walk past us without even acknowledging us until we walked over and asked them to come and seat us. Once seated, we were not explained how to order and not given menus until asked. We then ordered drinks and food, drinks took about twenty minutes to arrive and then food longer. We ordered plain waffle fries but received the Zia fries, the pizza was thick with barely any cheese just a dollop of sauce, the mozzarella sticks were cold and we also ordered garlic bread sticks which didn’t arrive until we told the server twenty minutes later because he hadn’t realised himself. Everyone in the building seemed miserable, staff and customers, because the service was the worst service I think I’ve ever had. We obviously didn’t tip, which meant the server was even ruder after our bill was paid and we were finishing our drinks. Will never be returning to this diabolical establishment.

I had one of their signature burgers and it was the worst burger I’ve ever had in my life. My friend didn’t even enjoy her pizza. My drink was delicious. My server was as sweet as pie!

Me and my family went to this restaurant on a Thursday evening. The host and waitress was awesome. We had a garlic sticks, a salad, and pizza. It all was amazing!! I will definitely return soon and highly recommend this place!

The cost for 2 pizzas and 3 glasses of wine was about $120 for 2 people. I think this is excessive! The food was good not great or exceptional and certainly too expensive for 2 people with 5 things. I will probably not return or recommend to others

Where to start for this review… Had to wave down a server to order food(15 minutes), delivered the wrong drinks, pizza came out cold, multiple other tables had to wave down a server to order. Management has to step it up. Only good thing was going next door to Jeni’s ice cream.

The food was amazing, the drinks were good and our server was outstanding. I would go back again for sure.

It was a cute pizza restaurant. We were seated quickly and our waiter gave great suggestions on our drinks. Our food was out in no time and it was hot and delicious. I didn’t have to yell across the table to my date which was nice yet the music was cool and I loved the dinosaurs behind the bar (cute touch). I will visit again

Great pizza, Detroit style. Pretty filling due to thickness of the slices. Nice ambiance, not too loud. Wasn’t insanely busy. Service was good, waitress was very nice but soft spoken.
