Emeril Lagasse’s first French-inspired restaurant concept—Emeril’s Brasserie, will bring the signature Creole flavors he is famous for to classic French-inspired dishes. The restaurant will encompass brunch and dinner dining options and delicious cocktails. Diners can enjoy their meal in a luxurious brasserie-inspired dining room, at the bar, or outdoors on the terrace to take in the sights of the famed French Quarter. The restaurant is accessible from both the casino floor for guests at least 21 and Canal Street for all ages.

SPECIAL NOTE: Guests under the age of 21 are not allow to walk through the casino and must enter at the Canal Street entrance.

So here it is Great start, great cocktails and appetizers which all 5 of us had, I was entertaining guests, one a local who had never been here yet. Ambiance nice, it was quiet actually Slow in my opinion and when the entree’s came out one (chicken cordon blu) that two guests we’re sharing the server advised it would be 3 minutes so the rest of us started enjoying ours at their request so our dishes wouldn’t get cold So we did but the chicken was more like 15 minutes Yes 15 minutes 🤷🏼‍♀️ I was so embarrassed as this was my diamond dinner and my treat for my guests…ugh!! Then they both said although it was warm the chicken was over cooked, if we don’t tell you You can’t fix it but that shouldn’t of happened and they chose not to embarrass me… I hope my local friend gives you another chance? The rest of the food was delicious so I’d likely give it another chance but the rest of us live in southern CA Maybe the server/manager should have noticed they barely touched their plates and offered to take it off bill?? We held a graduation celebration for our daughter and her friends at Emeril’s Brasserie. We had a table of 9 and to our surprise had the restaurant mostly to ourselves. The staff at the restaurant were incredibly attentive and our server, Micah, was great. We had two seafood towers, a tarte flambé, and some baked Brie for appetizers. Every bite of the appetizers was amazing. We aren’t typically huge fans of the seafood tower at other restaurants but this was amazing. Great flavors across the board. Unfortunately, we filled up on appetizers, so several people shared entrees. A few folks had the salmon and I had the steak frites. Again, amazing food. We went light on desserts with just one apple tart and a bread pudding to share. The apple tart was amazing. The bread pudding was the only element of the night that was just ok. Overall a fantastic experience.

Our first visit, didn’t disappoint. We live in indiana and visit NO a couple times a year. Ate at several of Emeril’s restaurants in the past . The food was amazing, loved the restaurant and how it was laid out. Look forward to our next visit!

Wine bottle arrived open and 2 of the 4 dinners were inedible-chicken cordon blue. But wait staff removed from bill, thankfully. Dessert was delicious though.

The restaurant was mostly empty. The server was not knowledgeable about the menu (such does the ratatouille have eggplant) and seemed to forget the cocktail ordered from the bar. The lobster pot pie was excellent. So was the chicken liver mousse and ratatouille. The turkey sausage gumbo was over spiced. It had to be eaten last or the other dishes couldn’t be tasted. Overall, the setting was bright and quiet for a casino but not elegant (tv screens playing sports over the bar). Other restaurants by Emeril are or were nicer. Oh how I miss NOLA.

Not worth the cost. We have had much better meals and service at half the price. I ordered the pasta, the sauce was extremely over salted. My husband ordered the chicken cordon blue. It was visually obvious that it was over cooked and should have never left the kitchen. All of the ham and cheese filling was in one quarter of the chicken breast, and there was a 2" bone that hadn't been removed from the chicken. Our server was not attentive after the food was delivered. When he finally came to check on us and ask us how the meal was, we told him the meal was not good and he told us that we were not the first diners to find bones in the chicken and complain. He apologized, but no other remedy was offered. I will say that the bread service and drinks were good, but overall it was a very disappointing experience, and we would not recommend this restaurant to others.

We may have just been unlucky. I brought my boyfriend for his birthday and it took an hour for our meal to arrive. People all around us had been seated after us, served, and left all while we still had not received our meal. When we finally got it they forgot the sauce that came with our steak. The manager did comp our steaks because of the delay. I don’t know if the order got lost or what but we were told that the kitchen was backed up but there were plenty of open tables around us. Overall the steak was just okay. Nothing too exciting especially since they forgot the sauce. I substituted for the ratatouille which was mostly breadcrumbs. I think at that point we were just rushing to eat too since we had other engagements to get to. I don’t know if because it’s a casino restaurant it was not up to the standard I expected but I was so excited to finally eat at an Emeril’s restaurant and I was very disappointed.

The food was fantastic and up to the standards you would expect out of an Emeril's restaurant. I also rated and review this with the caveat that the restaurant is very new. My issue was two fold. One can't be helped. I did not like that I still felt I was in a casino. I am a local who came for the food, not the casino, so this is more of a personal issue. The place looked great and felt comfortable, I just didn't like that I was looking at flashing slot machines over my dinner guest's shoulder. The other issue was probably due to possible inexperience or training of the waiter. I will say all of the staff were cheerful, smiling and welcoming and I enjoyed all interactions with all staff. The issue is my guest and I felt very rushed. The restaurant was half full, so we were not holding up service. My friend and I were drinking and talking and in no rush to eat. She did not "read the room" and see that we were in no hurry and we felt pushed to order. First the apps, then the entree. We were only halfway through the apps when she asked if she could remove the apps because the entrees were ready. We asked her to leave them and just bring the entrees. Then, while still eating, she wanted to remove dishes which were not empty, nor had we placed our silverware in the "done" position. (Is that still a thing?) In the end, the meal was great. Really loved the chicken liver mousse with strawberries, the mussels and the shrimp pasta was fantastic. The only other complaint would be that peanut butter pie is WAY TO BIG and way too good. Although that also my be a personal problem.

The food was superb. The bread was the best. We had the steak frites and goat cheese salad. The cocktails were over priced. The staff was excellent. Very delicious dinner.

We were the first table sat for a Sunday brunch. The server took our order pretty quickly and that's where the positives end. We had to wait 35 minutes for our food to be served and when we got it, my meal was cold. Nothing worse than cold hash browns, cool bacon and eggs and a room temp biscuit. The biscuit was the most edible thing I had. Too bad, this place could have been better.

We really enjoyed our evening at Emerils Brasserie. Kaydra took such good care of us. The food and drinks were excellent and we will definitely be back.

The Staff is wonderful! I had the lobster pot pie. It is not traditional lobster pot pie but it was good.

First timers. We asked the ladies working there what they recommended and we ordered just about everything that they suggested. First, we tried the shrimp and grits and it was phenomenal. My wife and I aren't big fans of grits but this plate, was outstanding!!! We also tried the French toast which was soft on the inside and crisp at the edges. So good! We also tried their hash brown which was also very good bc it was crispy! Fast forward a few hours, we came back for dinner because of the dinner recommendations. My wife ordered the salmon with ratatouille. Out of this world!!! First time having ratatouille as well. I had the steak and fries. Well prepared and good flavor. Thank you to the wonderful and friendly staff, Daria, Lashawna, Kaydra and manager Maria! There were two others and I can't remember their names but thank you for a wonderful experience! We will be back!!!

I am afraid we will not return. It was 1 1/2 hours waiting for the food to be served. We had to keep reminding the staff that one of our group had a glass of of wine that had not been served. Finally it arrived. We saw our food on a table around the corner from our table and it sat there until one of our group approached and told a hostess standing near that we believed that was the food we were waiting for. It was as if we were invisible.

For an Emeril’s restaurant, expectations for a delicious dinner did not deliver. Wine prices were actually less than expected - that’s the good. The gumbo was delicious, but the gulf fish was dry. The “onion” soup was more like a thick bed of cheese with very little soup, and the burger was less delicious than a generic knockoff of a Costco burger. The steak tartare was average in taste and uninspiring in appearance. Waitstaff and service was excellent, unfortunately the food was not good.

Everything about our experience was 10/10. Menu-wise, I highly recommend the French onion soup, bone marrow, and chicken tchoupitoulas. And don't even get me started on the deep-fried crackers. Another huge plus was the ability to bring our baby with us, as the restaurant has a separate entrance from the casino. Our server was extremely sweet and attentive with him throughout the meal and made us feel right at home. From the service to the food and atmosphere, we will absolutely be back!

The bar serves great drinks. Be sure to try the Corsicana Lemonade! Food was tasty and the casino atomsphere made for a fun tuesday night.

This was very disappointing. It looks, feels and tastes like a casino restaurant. Hardly French. Casino music and feel throughout.Emeril’s people can do a lot better than that. As a local, I would not recommend this to anyone unless they just comped you.

Poor quality food, not on the same level as previous Emeril's restaurant experiences. Seems as if he slapped his name on an average at best casino restaurant. Prices are 5 star but the food is 2 star. Would not recommend. Would not return again. Staff was attentive and professional. The food is the problem at this restaurant.

We started with the gumbo and burratta toast—tasty and generous portions. Our server Reba went out of her way to find the Chimay Blue my partner ordered as she first thought they were out of it. …much appreciated! I really enjoyed the shrimp and grits. Grits were smooth and cheesy, and the dish was perfectly seasoned for my taste. My partner enjoyed the beer steamed mussels—very fresh and tasty. I was a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but we would go back. We were there for brunch and it was pretty quiet , but I could see how the casino noise could be unpleasant on a busy night. Our server Reba was excellent and helped make our meal most enjoyable!

Generally I do not write these reviews, however I am hoping someone who cares may read this and make a change. We arrived as a party of 4 for a business dinner. Your restaurant happens to be close to the convention and hotel we were attending and it was a complete and utter disaster. The food was luke warm, to almost cold, bland and took almost 2.5 hours to order, receive, and leave. The service was next to non existent and we sat close to the service entrance, watching serves laugh and eat food off of plates coming out was horrifying and at one point I chose to explain to my party I was not feeling well just to avoid them asking why I was not eating. To my embarrassment, I heard my guest telling other convention attendees of this horrible dinner I hosted them to.

This place was Amazing! I had the French onion soup, followed by the lobster pot pie, my wife ordered the fillet and I must say it was so Emeril like, just Delicious! Our server was Kaydra and she was very sweet and very helpful with the menu! If you want a great atmosphere, food and great service visit Emerils Brasserie and ask for Kaydra! We already can’t want to be back in NOLA to visit Emerils Brasserie again!

Ari was a fabulous server! Extremely attentive and made wonderful suggestions. We very much enjoyed the seafood tower as well as the pecan bread pudding.

The food was great. The music was way too loud for a nice restaurant. They need to create a quiet spot with low level lighting and music.

I loved the waitress. The place is pretty. The food is terrible. I never send anything back. Ever. I couldn't eat the steak. It was gross. It's obvious it's just Emeril's name on the place and he's not involved. My husband got the burger and that wasn't good either. The side or macaroni was very good and the grits were good. But the steak and burger was a disappointment.

We dined for my fiancées birthday dinner. He had the lobster pot pie which was ok, not exceptional. I had the Chicken. The chicken crust was so tough I had to saw through it to cut it. I don’t know if that was how it was supposed to be cooked or not. The waiter told me it was not spicy but I found it quite spicy. I would not rate this dish very high. The service was exceptional and the dessert of bread pudding was awesome! Needless to say I ended up with GI symptoms about 6 hours later and wonder if my dish is what caused it. I had the suspicion this dish was not freshly cooked. It’s very unlikely I will return to this restaurant.
