Ouvert au printemps 2004, l'Embers est un steakhouse américain contemporain à la touche classique. Il propose une grande sélection de sushis et de fruits de mer dans une ambiance chaleureuse et agréable. Comme son nom l'indique, l'Embers évoque la chaleur et le confort d'un feu incandescent, qui est matérialisé par les torches murales et les lanternes à gaz en extérieur, en passant par les bougies à l'intérieur. I would do anything to not have that server again. He disappeared at one point for 45 minutes, so we were there two hours because a food order never was taken for those 45 minutes. Then the bill was brought out without any ask of desserts. The crème brûlée is one of the reasons we go to Embers. There’s more I found off putting, but you get the point.

Five stars for food....some of the best in the city (Scallops and Sea Bass for entrees) Service was a bit rushed (but it was a Saturday night) and diners who seemed to be regulars seemed to receive better service (we weren't offered bread, water refills were scarce) but overall a good experience. We'll come back for the wonderful quality of our dinners!

Our celebration of our son's college graduation at Embers was fantastic! Service was amazing and the food excellently prepared. Our table for 7 was perfect, and we enjoyed a couple of hours at Embers. The staff were all amazing. Highly recommend for your next special event!

Service was spotty, waitperson admitted being distracted by non work stuff. The $50 each filets my dining companion and I had were dry and overcooked. Felt like we were pushed out at end and it was not even 930. Currently much better choices available at these prices

Have had a great experience in the past but last night they were off. Two orders came out wrong (one was quickly addressed) and a drink order was completely forgotten. All in all the server was polite and attentive, food was good but the overall experience isn’t what I would expect for Embers

Excellent sushi! Love the avocado/crab dish. Great ribs and scallops. Was hungry for the onion rings, duck fries and the Mac and cheese.

Embers is a consistently excellent restaurant with outstanding service, a wide and varied menu, and interesting selections. While we eat there often, it is a nice place to go for celebrations, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.

Food and drinks were excellent! Steaks all cooked perfectly, mushroom risotto was a stand out side. Oreo filled donuts are a great dessert to share!

We had four people and treated like royalty! Wonderful food and exemplary service. We all had a wonderful evening in a beautiful dining area.

Excellent experience overall! From our waiter Randel, to the entire waitstaff, our dining experience was terrific. Nothing was overlooked, we had everything we needed when we needed it. I don’t know how it could have been any better! We’ll be going back soon. THANKS!

Our dinner at Embers coincided with Cincinnati Restaurant Week. Most of our group, but not all, had the special RW menu. The food was outstanding, as is usual at Embers. Our server, Maggie, took excellent care of our table. The location, decor, atmosphere, and welcoming vibe were suberb.

We went there for Restaurant week so the value was great. We sat at a table in the bar and it was still good to have a conversation but it was not full. The servers were wonderful and the food came out quickly and hot. We enjoyed at the courses and will be back again. The Oreo doughnuts are amazing.

While the food was generally good, there was nothing special about it that you couldn’t get at another restaurant for a better price. The vibe of the restaurant is older and quiet. Will probably not return.

We always enjoy Embers. It’s a solid, well run restaurant with an excellent staff and perfect execution every time! The food is always excellent, and when only one of us wants sushi it’s our go to because I can choose steak! We’ll be back time and time again!

Nick was our server and was fantastic. This was our first visit to Embers and Nick gave all of us great recommendations for our dinners. We had a variety of dinners 1/2 chicken, Chilean sea bass, Dover sole, and ribs. All were well prepared and excellent. Kobe sushi roll was also amazing.

I had the best time celebrating my sister’s birthday tonight. The host was so sweet and immediately sat us in the bar area. Ryan was our server and he had a bottle of Prosecco waiting for her which set the tone for the rest of the night. So great to catch up with her and Ryan didn’t miss a beat. Steak was cooked perfectly and the scallops were delicious. The Oreo dessert we had was unreal. Just so impressed overall and can’t wait to come back! Be sure to request Ryan!
