Benvenuti Nella Mia Cucina, Belli De Nonna! Before we dive into the delicious feast prepared for you, let me give you a little taste of my vita. I was born in the heart of Rome, and I've been cooking up a storm my entire life! My cucina has always been the center of the universe for my 3 daughters, 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, their friends, loved ones, and acquaintances – everyone was always Benvenuto!

Now, we've brought that same love and flavor right here to San Diego. My beloved grandson, Niccolo', and his amore, Cesarina, are opening the doors of my Cucina with the same warm heart and passion.

Wondering how I made it to 95? Well, it's simple: I ate everything that's served here and filled my life with amore! So, Benvenuti! Don't hesitate to indulge in "Scarpetta" - dip that bread into the sauce, just like my grandchildren used to do at the stove when they thought I wasn't looking.

Phenomenal! From the moment I entered, I felt like family. Juniper, our server, was so welcoming, nice, and knowledgeable. Nick, one of the owners was absolutely amazing. He was happy to share with us the love for his Nonna Elvira and Rome and the best way to eat our Carbonara. I thought the show stopper was going to be the carbonara...it was, but the Rigs Alla Norcina was phenomenal!!! I will be returning for the Norcina before flying home. The Panna Cotta was smooth and refreshing The freshly made still warm choux "donuts" with creme and chocolate dipping sauce, lovely I love this place and hate that I have to go back to the E. Coast. Nick, I love that the family is a part of this establishment...can't wait for the T-shirt

Take your server's recommendations on any of the dishes since they could be a little different. The pizza was great! We tried the Super Arrabbiata, yumminess. We've eaten at both Cesarina and now Elvira. We are so pleased with their attention to service, it's exceptional. We'll be back.

Amazing meal! I’ve been twice and each time every dish has impressed. Pasta and all ingredients are fresh and family inspired. The donut dessert was fun to fill and dip. I’ll definitely be back.

Authentic handmade pasta and pizza Roma style - delicious! Staff were friendly, attentive and delightful. Love the decor and beautiful menu celebrating aspects of Italian culture. Wonderful place!
