Benvenuti Nella Mia Cucina, Belli De Nonna! Before we dive into the delicious feast prepared for you, let me give you a little taste of my vita. I was born in the heart of Rome, and I've been cooking up a storm my entire life! My cucina has always been the center of the universe for my 3 daughters, 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, their friends, loved ones, and acquaintances – everyone was always Benvenuto!

Now, we've brought that same love and flavor right here to San Diego. My beloved grandson, Niccolo', and his amore, Cesarina, are opening the doors of my Cucina with the same warm heart and passion.

Wondering how I made it to 95? Well, it's simple: I ate everything that's served here and filled my life with amore! So, Benvenuti! Don't hesitate to indulge in "Scarpetta" - dip that bread into the sauce, just like my grandchildren used to do at the stove when they thought I wasn't looking.

The food and wait staff were fantastic! It was a little on the loud side but that’s to be expected on a Friday night. Will be dining here again for sure!

We love Elvira. Everyone’s meal was great except for the GF pizza. We have had the GF pizza before and it was so good. But last night the dough was very tough and tasted almost not cooked. Pasta and regular pizza were delicious Gnocchi are sooo good.

Menu was just ok. Need to add better appetizers and maybe a few more items. Pizza was very good. Pastas were ok. Cacao de Pepe was not as good as your other sister restaurant when they had it. May or may not be back

10 of us had dinner (7 adults, 2 toddlers, and a 18-month-old) to celebrate a birthday. The service was excellent and our waitress was great with the children and patient with the parents. The food was excellent. Everything recommended to us to try was delicious and these were the highlights—fettuccine maiale e spuntature, angello allo scottadito, parmigiana pizza, diavola pizza, antipasto della casa, and la mortaza, tonnarelli ajo, ojo e gamberi. This was my wife and my second time with our two children. Both times we have enjoyed the food and our time with family. We will definitely be back.

We love Cesarina so wanted to give Elvira a shot since we live in the neighborhood and we had the pizza and it was delicious. Will definitely be going back

Our server Andrea was amazing at describing every single drink/plate. The meatballs are a must as well as the Mezcal cocktail. I will definitely be back for gnocchi on Thursday.
