Eloise Nichols Grill & Liquors is an American Bistro from the Adair Family. We serve inventive cocktails paired with modern American comfort food.

Well done but never overdone, where drinks are a food group, late-night is a staple, and quality is a given. Come when you can and stay as long as you’d like.

Please call the restaurant for parties of 9 or more to make reservations.

Reservations are not necessary for Saturday and Sunday brunch. It is suggested that larger parties call the restaurant ahead of their arrival.

Love the food and atmosphere. However, it is way too noisy. They need to address that. My guest ordered bacon. They forgot to bring it. We reminded the person who delivered our food and then a few minutes told our server and it still didn't come. Neither one appeared to make a effort to get it out quickly. It came out as we were finishing breakfast. They didn't charge us for it but not a good first impression for an out of town guest.

Really excellent food, drink, and dessert (key lime pie!) presented well, with great service. We will return the next tme we're in Houston! The happy hour specials were AWRSOME--food and drink.

What happened? We love this small restaurant that typically provides a wonderful atmosphere, great food and good service. Sunday was off track to say the least. Staff was not equipped nor knowledgeable. Slow service and some of the food was burnt. Very disappointing!

This was our first time at EN and there were some highlights and things that could be done better. The wait staff were generally courteous, happy to help, and very friendly; however, they did go missing for several long stretches and we had to flag down folks clearing tables for a simple water refill. The ambiance was fantastic and the good was good. Drinks from the bar were light on certain ingredients (the liquor was there, but some of the things like fruit juice, ice, or simple syrup were not seem mixed at proper ratios). Food was generally good, but some items like the hot chicken app were covered heavily in a thick, very grainy sauce. It was overpowering the whole dish. Still, had an overall good time and did not feel rushed during our stay.

It’s been a while since eating here and this visit was fantastic. It’s a neighborhood spot for us but we had stopped going because on multiple occasions the service was off, and the food, just average. This time we shared poblano hush puppies, a superbowl, chicken sandwich and key lime pie. Every bite was delicious and the service was great.

Lovely place to eat and drink - had a nice family Easter meal and we enjoyed the food & drinks. The ONLY negative issue was that the front door was open the whole time and even though a bit muggy out and couple of flies were trying to join in our festivities since we were seated near the door. They do have a nice patio as well, though.

great place for Brunch at an exceptional value. most plates were between $10-$18, with some exceptions. Everything came out well and the ambience was moderate without too much noise. We dined there for Easter Brunch, but it would be worth to go again on for a non-holiday brunch. Parking is difficult as it shares the same lot as many other restaurants and stores in the area. Street parking may be required if you do not want to opt for valet parking during peak times.

Very friendly and accommodating staff and nice atmosphere. Food pretty good. Deviled eggs very good; the ‘Not Jennifer Anniston’s Salad’ was okay (the grilled shrimp were excellent), but wouldn’t order it again. Service by Erica was excellent and attentive.

Our waiter would disappear and not check on us. At the end, after waiting for about 30 minutes, I had to go in and ask someone to find him so we could pay. He was unapologetic. The Brussels sprouts & zucchini chips were delicious. The fish was great but the portion was on the smaller side. The filets were underdone but after my friend’s came back well done, I didn’t want to chance it being too done for my taste. I like it medium rare so I just ate mine & it was still pretty good and a fair price.

The food was very good but one dish - the redfish special and mashed potatoes - came out cold and had to be sent back. The fish sandwich was great. We liked our server and management was friendly and supportive. The key lime pie was excellent. It all takes place in a lively, attractive setting.

The food was just so so. The fish sandwich had too much coleslaw on it and the bun was soggy. French fries were not hot. We were the last to leave and 15 minutes prior to us leaving they started mopping the floors with bleach so string it hurt our eyes and the smell was horrible. Our server was very nice. Not his fault we had a not so good experience!

Overall a great experience, largely because of our Server,Vanessa L. She is the role model for a Perfect Server:Friendly, Attentive,Quick Response to our requests, &very knowledgeable of the menu. Only negative comments concern the food. My Cappuccino was very bitter & Spinach Omlette was very Blah..,needed seasoning & to be brown on top. Will definitely return & order something else.

Our experience at Eloise Nichols was pretty awful. The restaurant was not crowded while we were there, and it took over 30 minutes to receive our drinks. Our waters were refilled maybe once the whole 2.5 hours we were there. I ordered steak and eggs medium rare, it came out well done cooked to a brick. Took another 20-25 mins to make me a whole new meal, as they took the whole plate instead of just the steak. When it finally came back out, it was decently cooked but near cold. Our waiter was pretty terrible and overall for the price of the food I wouldn’t recommend.

Happy hour with friends was great. We didn’t have food, but the drinks (old fashioned, Negroni, Eloise sour) were all very good. Service was attentive. Will return when we can have cocktails and small bites. Parking can be a challenge…

Bartender didn't know how to make drinks listed on their menu Wasn't told different Burbon was used b/c they were out of the one listed as ingredient on their cocktail list Ordered then Bloody Mary No bacon on garnish Got bacon Requested to remove, they took ALL garnish away. My friend's omelets was cold. My bill had the drinks I had to return be cause it didn't taste good after I found out different bourbon was used. After complaining we were given am adjustment I used to love that place,but I will not return

Had brunch at Eloise's on Sunday -- highly recommend everything!! We had the sausage gravy and biscuits, the eggs benedict, and the mushroom omelet. And a couple of bloody mary's. It was an excellent brunch!!

We both had the SuperFoods salad with salmon. I give it a solid good… brown rice was a little undercooked for my test but the salmon was a perfect medium which I appreciated. All of the staff was friendly and attentive.
