The ambience of the restaurant was wonderful. A great environment for anyone looking to have a great italian meal in Nashville. The server really put the evening over the top. He was knowledgeable about the entire menu, food and drinks. The food was well prepared and served very hot. It was a smaller crowd, which created a nice intimate environment.

The salad was a solid 3/10 for the price. Seemed like it was just a bagged salad dumped into a bowl, not a $15 house made salad. The main entree, risotto was flavorful. Overall, a pretty average experience.

We visited on Mother’s Day for brunch. The food was outstanding! A great variety! The salmon and prime rib roast was delicious. The fresh fruit, scones and muffins were a delight! Such a great place!

Mother's Day brunch was really good. Food was fresh and delicious. The waiter was very attentive. Restaurant was not over crowded. Valet parking was easy.

The restaurant was beautiful. The menu was limited and they were out of prosciutto which was disappointing. The service was poor. We had to request water multiple times and our cocktails sat at the bar for 7 minutes before she brought them to our table. She was so busy polishing silverware and talking to other servers that we felt like it was an inconvenience for her to wait on us. The food was good but the noodles were under cooked and the meatballs were under seasoned.

Service was great. The waitress really went out of her way. Food was subpar at best. Cold, flavorless.... Music was blasting -- gangster rap, rock, pop... weird Pandora combo it seemed. Restaurant seemed unmanaged. Staff ran around confused it seemed. The waitress staff need a course in service. Not very engaging, except when they asked the neighbor table to leave so they can put together 2 tables for a group that just showed up. Got some potential but it's going to take a lot of work both food and service -wise.

We were excited to try Christian's new place! We are Italian and well you know, we are very picky. Unfortunately the food was average at best. The eggplant parm was very gummy and lacked flavor. The shrimp scampy was fair. The pappardelle was good but the meatballs lacked flavor. I hate being so blunt but we cook Italian at home and our meatballs and sauce are way better. Hopefully they can improve. Would be a shame to have such an amazing chef attached to a restaurant that is average at best.

Meatball appetizer was excellent. Clam appetizer was good; clam flavour got lost in the other components. Ragu was good; sad there wasn’t bread to accompany it. Pasta needs bread. Clam spaghetti was way way too salty. Server was attentive. Dinner was nicely paced.

We arrived on a rainy evening to a very warm welcome which set a great tone for the evening. We shared prosciutto di parma with mozzarella, parmesan and house made lavash as our starter. It was tasty and only lacked a generous drizzle of EVOO to make it even better. My husband’s main course was rigatoni with roasted chicken ragu. He did not expect chunks of chicken but it was good nonetheless. I had house made pappardelle with spicy tomato sauce and added the optional meatballs. I enjoyed the pasta and the sauce but the meatballs seemed a bit dry as they were not incorporated within the sauce but were places around the outside of the bowl. The net was a very good dinner.

Food was all so good. It was a quiet Sunday so it was almost like we had the restaurant to ourselves (though we didn’t). The meatballs are excellent, the salads are perfectly dressed and HUGE! The salmon was cooked to perfection and the rigatoni sauce was outstanding! We would definitely recommend and return!

Food was decent. Salmon main dish was great. The pork chops we dry. The meat ball was dry but had good flavor. The eggplant app was good but could have used more seasoning. Honestly can’t believe they were out of some main Italian wines at 8 pm and it wasn’t even that busy. Honestly a lot to fix! We paid well over 200 dollars for our meal and walked out thinking it wasn’t worth and then the next night went to a different restaurant and paid barely over 200 and went wow we would have spent way more for that meal.

Ella's was tremendous. Wait staff was on point! We went for our anniversary dinner and they presented us with flutes of champagne and offered complimentary dessert upon conclusion of the meal. My wife had the salmon and I had the ragu pasta with 8 hour marinara (which was loaded with a shredded chicken). We were more than satifsfied, presentation of everyone's food throughout the restaurant made every dish tempting. Thank you to the chef and to all of Ella's.

I dined at Ella's for a business luncheon with 3 coworkers. The service was great, valet parking was easy for my guests and the menu had enough variation that we all found something good to eat.

The food was just okay. I had the chicken parm and hubby had the salmon, he said it was pretty good. The espresso martini was excellent though, the best I have found in Nashville. That’s the ONLY reason I gave it a 4 star!

The food was mediocre - meatballs tasty but were served barely warm. The eggplant dish was cooked in a way that because of the thickness of the breading when bathed in marinara sauce resulted in a stodgy dish with barely any eggplant to be found. The same issue with the chicken main dish .. the anticipated crispiness one expects from a breaded dish was totally lost because of too much time sitting with a sauce over it (and same issue with temp of food served). Maybe it was just a bad night in the kitchen.

We started with the PIZZERIA SALAD and shared two pasta dishes, the FRESH PAPPARDELLE WITH SPICY TOMATO SAUCE with Meatballs and the 8-hour marinara RIGATONI ROASTED CHICKEN RAGU. While the salad was good, the pastas were amazing. The 8-hour marinara Rigatoni Chicken Raga had us planning another trip back for more. We also love the Spicy pasta dish. It had the heat and the meatballs were excellent. Our server Kayla did a fabulous job. We were very pleased with our visit and highly recommend Ella’s.

Our food was awesome! I had the Risotto and my wife had the chicken parm. Both were excellent. Our server, Savannah, was one of the best we've ever had. Super friendly and attentive to every need. And patient with our requests to taste several wines before we bought a bottle. We'll be back!

The food was good. The service was great. The atmosphere is a bit sterile when I would expect a bit more warmth. Small menu, but the server was very knowledgeable and answered questions in detail. We had 2 apps that were our favorite part of the meal. Overall it was a good experience.

Had the fresh ricotta starter and the pappardelle with meatballs added. Ricotta was creamy and delicious, light and just done right. The pappardelle was outstanding and adding the meatballs was a fantastic choice. Manga!

My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate my birthday and also our anniversary and we absolutely loved it! The service was unmatched and the food was delicious. This would be more of a special occasion kind of place for us with the price of the food, but it’s well worth it every once in a while.

Matt was an amazing server! The food was delicious and the ambiance was very inviting. Brought my 11 year old daughter for dinner just the two of us and it was a hit!

Unassuming from outset, but everything else is just fantastic. It might be part of the Hilton concentric. This food joint is different and will visit again

We sat outside on a beautiful evening, which was quieter than inside even with traffic. The meatball app was awesome, I had a special of Dr. Pepper marinated short ribs and my wife had a chicken entree. But the real highlight is desert, when it come out on a dinner plate (coconut cake omg), leave room and split it.

I enjoyed Ella's very much! It is hard to find many Italian places in Nashville so I was please to have found this place. Sauce is good, which is such a fundamental for Italian food. I got the chicken parmesan which is my favorite meal. The chicken, sauce, cheese was perfect. But instead of sprinkling fresh chopped parsley or basil on top, there was dried oregano from a jar. May sound silly but I expect better from a high end restaurant...dried oregano has a strong taste and it made me feel like I was eating at a pizzeria in a strip mall in New Jersey. Still, I would come back and just ask to omit that. We got the coconut cake with caramel gelato for dessert and it was AMAZING.

Delicious italian food and drink. The food came out very quickly. The polenta was creamy and stacked with parm! the pasta was perfectly al dente, and the cake with gelato was a perfect ending ... probably more than we needed! :)

The service was amazing but the food was poor quality and overpriced. I don't normally write reviews but we both still feel sick and bloated the next day from our meals, which we didn't even finish.

We very much enjoyed ourselves. The food was good. A bit pricey but that wasn’t surprising considering the name associated with this spot. The server was calm, pleasant, and perhaps over committed. He was never rushed but it took more time than expected.l to get things, including the check. It was nice that they didn’t just ask if it was a special occasion; they acknowledged our friend’s birthday.
