Channeling the spirit and cuisine of coastal southern Italy, Élephante aims to transport guests from Los Angeles to the Southern Mediterranean with stunning ocean views and dramatic sunsets, all whilst staying in the heart of Santa Monica.

Three bars on the property offer a variety of delicious, hand-crafted cocktails, as well as an extensive wine list. Élephante Beach House is full of custom furniture and design touches that surround the guests with natural wood and stone, copper finishes and design pieces from Northern Africa and Southern Italy.

With stunning ocean views and dramatic sunsets, guests are reminded of favorite summer vacations past, where a tranquil afternoon drink can turn into a memorable dinner or a late-night dance.

Please note for parties up to 4 guests will have the tables for an hour and half. Parties larger than 4 guest you will have the table for up to two hours.

    Elephante is incredibly popular and sought out by locals and tourists alike. If you aren’t dining in the middle of summer and plan to sit outside definitely bring a jacket even though the waiter will happily bring you a blanket. The pastas and mocktails are especially divine at this Santa Monica hot spot!

    We have been patrons of Elephantè for 3 years. This was not the best dining experience we’ve had. The hostesses were wonderful and very accommodating! Our server did not make sure our pasta dish was not spicy as requested. Also they stopped serving us and another random person started helping us, but they did not check in on us regularly. We had to ask the person who brought our food to find them for us so we could order more drinks. Also we were sad to hear the bold sea slushy(now discontinued)machine was not working. That was my all time favorite drink and was very looking forward to having that for my birthday. If there is anyway that something can be done to improve the consistency of the slushee machine working, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE consider it. That is an iconic drink I’ve never had anywhere else which I felt made our dining at Elephantè unique and memorable.

    I didn’t eat because was a construction in the tanks outside veeery noisy and inside was not place and al this process to sit in a bad table room 30 min because slow hostess and waitress so we left to nobu and much better we left

    Excellent food and ambience. Would highly recommend. The whipped eggplant was outstanding, as was the pasta we tried. My husband had the truffle tagliatelle and it was over the top. Great vibe and service excellent. They are jam packed so reserve a table well in advance, and be prepared to wait to get your table.

    Food was mediocre, bread was great but the scrambled eggs, whipped eggplant and hotcakes weren’t anything to write home about

    Food and drinks were excellent and the server and bartenders were great. Noise level was louder than we’d prefer, as it was hard to hear even the person I was sitting across from. The worst part that would make me rethink coming here was that despite having a reservation, we were just shuffled around from one place to another (3 times in 15 minutes) with no standing room until a random person had to find us to point us to our table.
