Channeling the spirit and cuisine of coastal southern Italy, Élephante aims to transport guests from Los Angeles to the Southern Mediterranean with stunning ocean views and dramatic sunsets, all whilst staying in the heart of Santa Monica.

Three bars on the property offer a variety of delicious, hand-crafted cocktails, as well as an extensive wine list. Élephante Beach House is full of custom furniture and design touches that surround the guests with natural wood and stone, copper finishes and design pieces from Northern Africa and Southern Italy.

With stunning ocean views and dramatic sunsets, guests are reminded of favorite summer vacations past, where a tranquil afternoon drink can turn into a memorable dinner or a late-night dance.

Please note for parties up to 4 guests will have the tables for an hour and half. Parties larger than 4 guest you will have the table for up to two hours.

We were freezing! Sat us right beside open door where it was blowing wind the whole time and no one ever asked us my daughter and friend so cold the entire time, didn’t even stay to order her a birthday dessert. No utensils were provided for our entrees we had to use our own forks as could never get anyone’s attention. Very disappointed. Would not recommend

Restaurant was unwelcoming from the get-go with curt staff at multiple check-in points and queues, despite a reservation. Server was noticeably unknowledgeable and annoyed during each brief point of contact from drink recommendations to menu clarifications. The only other time he returned was to offer dessert menus. When we declined, the floor mgr appeared to give us a 5 min warning to vacate the table and another staff member removed our water pitcher. We were winding up our dinner anyway but this certainly left a sour taste in our mouths. The bar is in the center of the room - great for people watching but too loud to hold a convo across even a small table. Drinks were fab, food was overrated. Support staff was lovely and efficient; wish I could've given them the entire tip. I won't return.

The whipped eggplant had no flavour whatsoever and tasted off, the calamari tasted fishy

The waiter didn’t take care of our table properly. He missed one of our orders and at the end he completely abandoned us. We had to asked for support from another waiter.

The food was generally good and comparable to other restaurants in its tier but over flavored, especially with lemon. The salads were so tart I couldn't eat them alone (needed something to neutralize the acid).

Could not have conversation due to noise. Asked for outside table, due to disability, anxiety disorder. Sat next to large dog, and when asked to move, was told yes, but never were, while others were seated outside because they did not like their table. Unprofessional staff, no concern for disabled. Will not return. Manager comped lunch, but we were unable to finish our meal.
