Channeling the spirit and cuisine of coastal southern Italy, Élephante aims to transport guests from Los Angeles to the Southern Mediterranean with stunning ocean views and dramatic sunsets, all whilst staying in the heart of Santa Monica.

Three bars on the property offer a variety of delicious, hand-crafted cocktails, as well as an extensive wine list. Élephante Beach House is full of custom furniture and design touches that surround the guests with natural wood and stone, copper finishes and design pieces from Northern Africa and Southern Italy.

With stunning ocean views and dramatic sunsets, guests are reminded of favorite summer vacations past, where a tranquil afternoon drink can turn into a memorable dinner or a late-night dance.

Please note for parties up to 4 guests will have the tables for an hour and half. Parties larger than 4 guest you will have the table for up to two hours.

    This is basically a restaurant for aesthetics and views only. The pastas were sub par and appetizers were mid. The service was slow and we had two different servers who only stopped by twice for the order then for the bill. Lots of waiting around. If you want to eat good food go somewhere else. If u want a picture on the patio then maybe slightly a little bit maybe just a tiny amount… consider going here

    Open, airy dining room, good variety on the menu, tasty food and good service. Definitely will return.

    We booked this restaurant weeks in advance and we were beyond disappointed. The service was terrible, no one came to our table for about 15 mins. We ordered pastas but the food was uneatable and we both left full plates. The server didn't even acknowledge that we clearly hadn't eaten our food. But they did bring the bill very fast. I would never recommend this restaurant.

    Elephante is incredibly popular and sought out by locals and tourists alike. If you aren’t dining in the middle of summer and plan to sit outside definitely bring a jacket even though the waiter will happily bring you a blanket. The pastas and mocktails are especially divine at this Santa Monica hot spot!

    We have been patrons of Elephantè for 3 years. This was not the best dining experience we’ve had. The hostesses were wonderful and very accommodating! Our server did not make sure our pasta dish was not spicy as requested. Also they stopped serving us and another random person started helping us, but they did not check in on us regularly. We had to ask the person who brought our food to find them for us so we could order more drinks. Also we were sad to hear the bold sea slushy(now discontinued)machine was not working. That was my all time favorite drink and was very looking forward to having that for my birthday. If there is anyway that something can be done to improve the consistency of the slushee machine working, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE consider it. That is an iconic drink I’ve never had anywhere else which I felt made our dining at Elephantè unique and memorable.
