Our Rathmines Elephant & Castle has become a staple venue over the last two years, right in the heart of Rathmines Village. The signature white facade from Temple Bar has been replicated, bringing new life to this previously quiet corner of Rathmines village. being the second location of the E&C family we have served over thousands of many happy guests. Service, great food and comfortable dining experience is our number one priority.

The menu will feature the same great dishes that make Elephant & Castle a firm favourite. From the fluffy omelettes, and juicy burgers, and, of course, those crispy, spicy wings. We’re focusing on friendly, laid-back service; tasty as ever food and a relaxed atmosphere - everything Elephant & Castle lovers have come to expect from a visit to our place. The 110-seater restaurant is spacious and bright, with large windows looking out onto buzzing Rathmines. Comfy booths and oak clad walls with black and white images from E&C’s native New York City.

Food was delicious, hot, plentiful, good value and on time. Our server spared us cost and food waste by telling us the wings were big portions and better shared than ordered for each of us. One order was forgotten, this happens, and without prompt our bill was compensated. Staff were so lovely, atmosphere vibrant and pleasant. Just an all round great experience

We had spicy wings to share which were so greasy I couldn’t eat them. I had fish and chips which was completely tasteless. So poor I thought I had Covid with no taste !!! Did a test when I got home which was negative. Sorry but won’t be back.

A very enjoyable evening with delicious food and excellent service. Our waitress Danielle couldn’t have done more for us and made our dining experience all the more. 5 stars all around ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was looking forward to their buffalo wings, but spotted Red Atlantic prawns in a chorizo sauce What a magnificent dish. The bread served with it allows for some sauce soakage … but best they add a teaspoon to ensure you get every drop! The prawns - about 6 or 7 were delicious and juicy. The wings were equally excellent Great evening

Chips were cremated and burger was below par, ladies serving us were nice , rathmines is normally a good location for food quality but not on this occasion

Regulars here , love the wings and burgers, always great + friendly and efficient staff. However this time I ordered a calamari salad ... unfortunately the calamari was of the deep fried frozen kind and the salad was industrial dressing drenched salad leaves - disappointing. Back in the day in temple bar we used to get great fresh salads with simple dressings, yum, hopefully good salads can be can be resurrected (given the weekend thats in it) !

We booked a table for four people for Saturday 16 March 2024. Restaurant is really nice and good atmosphere, Staff was attentive and friendly. We all enjoyed the starter which was potato and leek soup and one person had chicken wings which they enjoyed, Our only issue was the main course, we all had the cod and chips, the beer battered cod was very overcooked and fish inside very dry which we were all disappointed with, we were sorry we didn't go for a different main course. We may go again sometime and go for different main course. We decided not to have dessert.

Food was good but we booked a couple days in advance and got the worst table in the restaurant right beside the door, this led to very drafty and cold conditions and food got cold.

Had a lovely meal here on Monday. Restaurant had a nice vibe about it as there was a nice crowd in - not too many, but enough to create a nice atmosphere. There is a good variety of food to choose from.

Nice restaurant, menu has lots of choice and service was great. Cauliflower wings were a bit too saucy but veggie pasta option was delicious. Recommend for a pleasant easy place to have dinner!

Our server was lovely and helpful but covering far too many tables. The restaurant is cold and draughty, we had a table booked but were waiting in a draught by the front door for 20 minutes before we were seated. Food is excellent but we’ll be going to another branch next time.

Brought my (yo niece here who can be fussy. She had the kiddies pasta and ate every bit. I'm a coeliac and the staff were very helpful and super friendly even checking that fries were cooked in a separate fryer - rare treat for me. The kiddies menu had lots of colouring and jokes and word games that my niece loved. Thanks for looking after us :)

The curse of the chicken batch returned … my super favorite iconic choice was ruined by the quality of the chicken ( hence the batch comment) . Massive chicken wings and tough … so not the small tender super tasty ones unfortunately… thankfully doesn’t happen often but when it does it takes the joy away unfortunately

I always enjoy my time, and the food, when I dine at Elephant & Castle!! The staff are wonderful & courteous. The ambiance is always chilled, and my son who has Autism loves the vibe.

Lovely meal but note the omelette comes with a few tortilla chips and a spoon of salsa - would be better with fries and salad! It was very tasty and we had a fab time
