We loved our meal here! From the second you walk in, you feel like you’ve stepped into a real English pub (I studied in England for over a year and spent my fair share of time in pubs). Omar, our server, was beyond fantastic!! He was attentive and very personable. The food was delicious as well! We started with the brussel sprouts and honey garlic wings. Both were fantastic and great starters. I got the Wee Pie Sampler and no pie disappointed! I was surprised how filling it was as well. Someone else at my table got the Fish and Chips and said it was outstanding. We ended with the Big Ben Brownie for the table. Such a sweet ending that we all enjoyed! Despite being in downtown Chicago, I thought the prices were reasonable. 2 starters, 3 entrees, dessert, and 2 rounds of drinks for 2 people was $130. The one thing I’d say as a caution is that, with the train running above the restaurant, the noise levels can be loud. But that is not a negative against the establishment, just a reality of dining in the city. I look forward to dining again!

The food was very good! We ordered a few appetizers to split between two of us-the chips, wrapped bangers and chicken sliders. More than enough and the sauces included were delicious. We were having a late meal after a long day but I did notice by 9:00 PM when we were finishing up, things right outside the window we were seated at started to get a little interesting. Definitely would suggest dining a little bit earlier to avoid those transactions going on right before your eyes!!

Food was very good and came out fast. Good beer selection and friendly wait staff. Two of us got the pot pie flight - highly recommend. Would go back again.

The “Wee Pie Flight” is delicious, as is the Bailey’s cheesecake and the bread pudding! Brett provided us with amazing service! And, Jenna was very helpful when my friend, who is unable to do stairs and has breathing issues, needed to be escorted through the kitchen to use the “loo” since the elevator is out of order. Very inconvenient and not at all handicap accessible!

We arrived early; the greeter welcomed us and took us directly to our table. My wife had butter chicken and was impressed. I had fish and chips and loved it. The dipping sauce was outstanding. Sydney took excellent care of us. We did not have dessert then, but after the theater we opted to come back. The greeter recognized us! We shared the Big Ben Brownie. The ratio of ice cream to brownie was low (could have used less brownie or more ice cream). But this was our only criticism of the food. Portions for the whole meal were perfect. And the value was good. A wonderful evening. We will be back.

From the hostesses that seated us , To our server, Bret, things could not have been better. I had cauliflower soup, my date had the onion soup. Together, we shared the shepherds pie sampler. It was all absolutely delicious. We stumbled on this place searching for a place to have a pre-theater dinner. could not have done a better choice, I have absolutely no criticism. I hope they just keep doing what they do.

Our dinner was excellent. I had the steak and mushroom pot pie with a salad. The prices were unbelievably low. I thought it was a miss print on the menu. It was a little noisy though.

Great stop for a late meal after a show. Hard to find somewhere open late on a weeknight! Food was great and well- priced. Will definitely return.

Excellent post show option for Chicago Theater goers. Great service. Solid food at reasonable prices for Downtown. Take note, if you have mobility issues, bathrooms are downstairs. Not the restaurant's fault, but a crew of super extra skeevy young guys hanging about in this block aggressively demanding money from passers-by was off putting. Chicago needs to step up and stop this before it drives all the businesses out.

Good food. Varied menu. Reasonable prices. Great service. Try the sausage appetizer, Caesar salad, various savory pies. A bit noisy, but fun. Lots to look at on the walls.

Server was great- the raspberry beer that was recommended was so good- great flavor and light. Pretzel bites ahead of time were a hit with our daughter. Husband had the fish and chips- was great. The Ale & Onion soup was so good- great flavor!! Daughter had a burger and she said was good!!! Everything was hot and service was on point!

Nice bar with great pub food. I realize it's not British, but I really liked the poutine and whipped feta tomatoes. Only complaint is the bread that came with the feta. I wish it was a little crisper. But really nice flavors. Great beer and cocktail selection. Swift service. Watched a soccer match. GIANT dessert portions!!!

Fun, lively place to dine. We ordered the pretzel appetizer and sandwiches all food was hot and tasty. The beer on tap choices are excellent and the service was efficient and overall friendly.

My friend's Salmon was not good, it was very dry everything on the plate looked very dry with the rice. I got wings and sweet potato fries, I kept it simple because I know better than to get fish at a restaurant that it not their specialty.

The food was really good, and you can't beat the location to the Chicago Theater. We enjoyed a really good meal here before our show. Fast service and great atmosphere.

Moderately quiet at 8:30 on a Friday, didn’t wait for a table. Had the 4-pie flight. 3of the 4 I would order again. Didn’t care for the spices in the beef & mushroom pie. Split the brownie dessert. It was good and more than enough for 2. Food and drinks arrived quickly.
