We are bringing "True Greek" to the Upper West Side. At eléa, we only use the finest quality ingredients (Grade 1 Yellow Fin Tuna, Loche Duarte Scottish Salmon) to create traditional "True Greek" fare. Now Open, on the heels of the successful summer opening of Kyma Flatiron, sister restaurant eléa on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. With an open split-level design punctuated with traditional Grecian pottery and décor, eléa will transport guests to a romantic island vacation while also evoking an intimate, softly lit aesthetic perfectly suited for the uptown neighborhood. Meaning “olive” in ancient Greek, eléa offers guests a menu of soulful and modern Greek dishes that encompass flavors across the region’s many islands and terrains.

Elea is of our favorite restaurants in NYC. Our recent visit was great., Food was lovely, and perfect for sharing. Lots of vegetarian options. The only dish that we weren’t enthralled with was the seed crusted feta, and that was down to a matter of taste. The service was attentive but relaxed. We like to sit on the patio as my husband is deaf and it is quieter for him there.

The service was friendly and attentive. We ordered five spreads with pita all of which were very tasty. The drinks were generous. The meatballs and moussaka were delicious. The octopus was a bit chewy.

Great food. Octopus, the spreads, lamb chops, fish. Just about everything. Have gone many times with family and friends. Everyone’s favorite.

I went for the first time with a couple of friends. Walking into the restaurant was very pretty, a lot of white and flowers around. We got dirty martins and a fig martini which were made wonderfully. We had the beet salad, and a few dips. The pita was warm and delicious. We also got vegetables to go with it. We had the Kounoupidi (cauliflower), Keftedes (meatballs) and grilled shrimp. Everything was plated in such a pretty way all the food was very fresh. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I'll definitely be back.

As usual, the food was very good. It's the kind of place you can eat in courses, or share various items. Plentiful servings and it's very good. Service was excellent.
