They extended brunch after 2 pm but never replenished the food. It was not worth the food we ate $50/person

The service was the worst I ever had there. We had a reservation for 1:45pm and told that we could not be seat until all of our party got there. R party got there a few minutes after we arrive and was told they were a couple of parties before us. About 5 parties were seat before us and they were taking walk in before us. Some of those parties were large group and we were a party of 5. When I asked the Manager when we would be seat he said we were next and they were busy due to mother's day. I could not believe this restaurant was not prepared for Mother's Day. We were finally seat around 3pm and seated in the bar area way in the back and the table was a patio fold up table that was dirty no table cloth and fold up chairs. The buffet area hardly had any food and we wanted to order off the menu but the waiters said we could not. When I asked the Manager about ordering from the menu he said the buffet was extended for 1 1/2 hours. I could not believe they extended the buffet with hardly any food. We left and went to eat at El Cholo down the street. The service was 10000 time better. My family and I will never go back to El Torito. Being a Mom this was so sad to experience this on Mother's Day.

We went for Mother's Day brunch and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the price point was amazing ! It was definitely worth it, all the food was very good and very fresh. The only two things was it was SOOO hot inside, it was cooler to sit on the patio area, but that's just a given due to how crowded it was, and having all the food warmers on. And 2 the parking was limited. 10/10 would recommend and we'll definitely be back.

Omelette bar was cooked to perfection! And our server Ana was great! Ask for her if you go to the Yorba Linda location!

We got seated 40 minutes after my reservation time. The buffet was not fully stocked. The mimosas were disgusting, the most cheapest champagne they could find. They advertised a tri-tip in him carving station for their Mother's Day brunch. However, there was nobody attending The carving station and the entire time I was there, the meat was never served to anyone because The small dry chunk of meat never got smaller in size. Almost $40 per person for bland food. The coffee and horchata was completely out of service so when we ordered a soda instead they charged almost $4 for the soda. Not a very good Mother's Day experience in my opinion.

I've always been a fan of El Torito. Had the Mothers Day reservation for maybe a month. Place opened at 9:00 and res for 9:15. Arrived and the place was packed. We had 6 in our party. They would not seat us inside since we didn't have more than 6 in our party. ??? Outside tables were dirty, funky chairs but they did turn on the heaters - so good there. Champagne was Gambino sparkling wine and you needed the orange juice to drink it. Food was good; lots of variety and either fresh or made for you. The highlight was our server ANA. She's sharp, friendly, hustled, cleared tables, was at your elbow anytime you even thought you wanted something. So either they overbooked or just started seating anyone in line without a reservation. No kudos for that. Thank you ANA!!! Everyone in our party appreciated you.

First walked in the restaurant was empty.. had to use the restroom before we sat and it was disgusting I’ve been in bathrooms in restaurants that are better absolutely horrible then we go to sit down and eat, and the booth was disgusting. I had to have them re-wash it. We get food and fajitas and the tortillas had mold on them yeah I was in shock then we get, the food comes comes out and it’s horrible. I couldn’t get out of that place quick enough. It was horrible horrible horrible.

We’ve been coming here regularly for many years, especially for the Cinco de Mayo celebration. This year, however, was different. They didn’t decorate the place as they normally do, the servers were virtually nonexistent. We had to get up on multiple occasions to get our own napkins or condiments, even though they weren’t that crowded for a celebration day. The food appeared to be stale tasting. Oh, and the bathrooms were toilet paper and filthy Overall, worst experience we’ve had at this restaurant in many years.

The food was delicious. The Sunday brunch has a great spread of varieties of food. I would definitely recommend coming here. I loved it, the only thing that I would want to have different is fresh Agua Frescas instead of powder mixed.

Worst Easter experience ever! Will not return!!! Made a 3:00 reservation and arrived 15 minutes early. The Easter Buffet was being cleaned up (it had needed at 2:00) and was told our table will be ready at 3:00. 30 minutes later, finally was seated. Drinks were ordered and served. Then after waiting another 30 minutes finally asked server if anyone was going to take our order. She said she was waiting for the rest of the ladies. What ladies? We never mentioned we’re waiting for anyone!! Spoke to manager and she had nothing to say but I’m sorry. Appreciated she didn’t want us to pay for drinks ordered but our Easter meal never happened at this restaurant. Thank goodness we drove a block down to Denny’s and had awesome service and a fantastic meal! This was not the first time of terrible service at El Torito. Shame on us for giving this awful restaurant a second chance. Won’t be disappointed again because not going back!

The buffet is wonderful with so many options. The manager Karla is always helpful and kind. Our server Rosa was wonderful, she checks on us regularly to see if we need anything. Thanks you El Torito!

Enjoyed my combo. I think the beef Barbacoa taco was my favorite item. I’ve been dining at this location for years and have never had a bad meal.

We were greeted and seated quickly. Restaurant was busy, but not slammed. Servers were super busy though, possible staffing issue. So, things were a little slower getting table service. Overall, good food and decent prices.

We went after the Christmas brunch so the restaurant was almost empty when we arrived. We had 3:30 reservations.It started filling up around 30 minutes after we arrived the service and food were very good ! And so were the cocktails (Cadillac margaritas) the only reason I did not give a 5 star review was that the restaurant is in need of some updating and repairs the booth we sat in was Worn and had Tears in it

We love to spend the holidays meals with El Torito yorba Linda. Meal is delicious and the atmosphere is so relaxing and pleasant. Thanksgiving and Christmas Day is the best.

Loved the brunch buffet! So many choices and many were kid-friendly -- one of ours didn't even take from the kid table. Service was attentive but non-intrusive. Jaime is always a personable and helpful server. A great way to spend Christmas Eve morning with family!

We really enjoyed the Thanksgiving buffet at El Torito in Yorba Linda. There was a huge variety of food to choose from, and everything we ate was excellent. The staff were so friendly, helpful and kind. It truly made our holiday memorable.

Our experience was fabulous. We’ve gone to ElToritos buffet thanksgiving every year. Everything was perfect. Food was delicious and layout of tables beautifully done. The turkey was moist, all the traditional Thanksgiving food was perfect. All the Mexican food was perfect as well and the taste was unbelievable. We would definitely encourage anyone to join their buffet. The value is great too.

I love El Toritos. We used to have them in Maryland, but sadly they are no longer there. Enjoy it while you can California. Great margaritas and the food is delicious too!

I’ve been at other El Torito locations for their Sunday brunch, but this one tops it off! Their food choices were great. Tasted great with a wide variety. Service was good considering the amount people there, but would benefit from a bit quicker water service. Would still go back every weekend if I could. 🙌🏼

Made reservation, showed up waited for 10 min and was never approached or helped another group came in same thing no service no host. We walked out and then also noticed the next group leave. Never had a chance to try the food
