    They extended brunch after 2 pm but never replenished the food. It was not worth the food we ate $50/person

    The service was the worst I ever had there. We had a reservation for 1:45pm and told that we could not be seat until all of our party got there. R party got there a few minutes after we arrive and was told they were a couple of parties before us. About 5 parties were seat before us and they were taking walk in before us. Some of those parties were large group and we were a party of 5. When I asked the Manager when we would be seat he said we were next and they were busy due to mother's day. I could not believe this restaurant was not prepared for Mother's Day. We were finally seat around 3pm and seated in the bar area way in the back and the table was a patio fold up table that was dirty no table cloth and fold up chairs. The buffet area hardly had any food and we wanted to order off the menu but the waiters said we could not. When I asked the Manager about ordering from the menu he said the buffet was extended for 1 1/2 hours. I could not believe they extended the buffet with hardly any food. We left and went to eat at El Cholo down the street. The service was 10000 time better. My family and I will never go back to El Torito. Being a Mom this was so sad to experience this on Mother's Day.

    We went for Mother's Day brunch and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the price point was amazing ! It was definitely worth it, all the food was very good and very fresh. The only two things was it was SOOO hot inside, it was cooler to sit on the patio area, but that's just a given due to how crowded it was, and having all the food warmers on. And 2 the parking was limited. 10/10 would recommend and we'll definitely be back.

    Omelette bar was cooked to perfection! And our server Ana was great! Ask for her if you go to the Yorba Linda location!

    We got seated 40 minutes after my reservation time. The buffet was not fully stocked. The mimosas were disgusting, the most cheapest champagne they could find. They advertised a tri-tip in him carving station for their Mother's Day brunch. However, there was nobody attending The carving station and the entire time I was there, the meat was never served to anyone because The small dry chunk of meat never got smaller in size. Almost $40 per person for bland food. The coffee and horchata was completely out of service so when we ordered a soda instead they charged almost $4 for the soda. Not a very good Mother's Day experience in my opinion.

    I've always been a fan of El Torito. Had the Mothers Day reservation for maybe a month. Place opened at 9:00 and res for 9:15. Arrived and the place was packed. We had 6 in our party. They would not seat us inside since we didn't have more than 6 in our party. ??? Outside tables were dirty, funky chairs but they did turn on the heaters - so good there. Champagne was Gambino sparkling wine and you needed the orange juice to drink it. Food was good; lots of variety and either fresh or made for you. The highlight was our server ANA. She's sharp, friendly, hustled, cleared tables, was at your elbow anytime you even thought you wanted something. So either they overbooked or just started seating anyone in line without a reservation. No kudos for that. Thank you ANA!!! Everyone in our party appreciated you.
