We’ve been to other El Torito locations and they were wonderful but I will never go to the Stockton El Torito again. We went for Mother’s Day dinner and should have known by the empty parking lot that it was a sign. First of all the bathrooms were discussing. Two stalls were out of order and the third stall was clogged with toilet paper all over the floor. It took us one hour to get our food. Two of us ordered street tacos that were both super dry. My ten year old daughter got sick after we got home from the restaurant. Save your money and go to any other restaurant you’ll have a better experience.

The best Mother’s Day experience! The whole staff went above and beyond!!! The food was amazing as usual!

This past Sunday was very disorganized and I am highly unsatisfied. I had an appointment @ 10:30am and waited until 12 before I left because I still hadn’t been seated. The wait time caused me to miss another planned activity for the day. In the future I would suggest to NOT offer reservations on holidays. I am very unsatisfied and will NOT be returning to EL Torito and I advised my friends and family who asked how brunch was to NEVER go to El Torito

We had reservations at 10:15 we weren’t sit til 1130 they let walk in before people with reservations. Once we finally got in it was good but they couldn’t deal with people that reservations came first then walk in

Your restaurant is very busy which I think is great. But that being said you should be able to fix the bathroom. The women’s restroom is disgusting. The entire restaurant needs thorough cleaning.

I was suprised with how fresh everything was. The kids loved it and the option to try it all on the Sunday brunch had them very excited. The service top notch, refills on a regular basis and made to order eggs table service was nice. It’s been a long time since I have been to any El Torito and this one stands out as one of the best.

Got the reservation early because we knew it would get packed after 11am. The food was great, the service from our waitress Cuca was amazing, Angie the manager stopped by our table to ask how we were doing which was nice, overall our Easter breakfast was delicious.

I made a reservation for 20 people at 1:30pm. Plans changed and I requested the reservation for 1:00pm, which was granted. At no time was I told that the buffet was the only option until 2pm. I would have booked elsewhere because I do not like buffets. The kitchen opens at 2pm, so we decided to wait. Waiting should not be a problem since I made a reservation and a space for 20 people should be available. You would think that if I had a reservation for 20 people-buffet or not-the space would be available. It was not. We get there at 1pm and we are told that we have to wait until other customers leave the reserved area. You would think there would be space for us to wait by the time of my original reservation at 1:30pm. It was not available. We had to wait at the entrance for over an hour. The manager told us that the previous party had overstayed their reservation and asked them to leave repeatedly. They did not leave until 2pm. We all sat down around 2:15pm, we do not get our food until around 4pm. The food was good. The server was good as well. But did not hear anything about the inconvenience at all after we sat down. No discount for my guests that had to wait for an hour in the lobby.

The food was excellent and arrived hot and fresh. It was the service that was to slow. The wait time between our salad and receiving the entree took 40 minutes and we were the only ones seating in our section. The waitress did apologize and state she was pulled to help another section to cover a break.

Went here for the first time in a long time and it was soooo yummy! The tableside guac was delicious
