Made a res. at 7PM. was there around 7:10 Waited in the line around 10 minutes. Understood that people waiting has no reservation and approached to the hostesses. I said I have a reservation (wanted to continue with asking should I wait or not but couldn't), both ladies laughed to my face. One of them to cover her laugh turned around and kept laughing... I waited and asked why did you laugh,,, after a while she couldn't find an explanation and told me they cant see my reservation. I showed open table booking and they said because the time is 7:31 PM my booking is cancelled. I spend my next couple hours trying to find another place to eat. I tried to call the restaurant, no answer, TRIED TO CALL OPENTABLE too... but no one...

Even with a reservation we waited for quite a while before being seated. Once seated our waiter was great. Food was only ok-chips and salsa are great, and order the steak-everything else was just ok.

We were planning on going to a different restaurant, but that didn’t work out so this was a last-minute find for us and we absolutely loved El Segundo Sol!! In fact, we ended up going back two nights later! The food was outstanding, the drinks were excellent and our waiter was super nice. The music was a titch loud for me personally, but my hearing is not great so I like it a little quieter so I can hear the conversation at the table, but obviously, that was not a deterrent since we went back again… More of an FYI. Overall, we will for sure come back to eat here the next time we come to Vegas.!! 👍🏼👍🏼🌟🌟😋

Yet another splendid meal with friends visiting from Chicago. All enjoyed their choices. The freshly made guacamole is always on point. Our server was very attentive to our needs. Great experience had by all.

The food was excellent. The Happy Hour loaded fries w/chicken was awesome. My wife really enjoyed the red Sangira and chicken fajitas. I had the ribs and corn fitter’s I wish the ribs were a regular meal instead of appetizer. A larger quantity would have been nice. Overall, all the food and drinks were top notch!

We love El Segundo Sol! We always get a table on the outside patio and watch the people walking by, which is an experience in itself. The nachos are always great, the service is excellent, and the ambience is perfect. We definitely recommend this place for a romantic dinner!

The restaurant is beautiful and has a great selection of Mexican dishes and great drinks. We got the fresh made guac and prickly pear margaritas. The crispy fish tacos were on point. My wife got the combo steak and chicken fajitas. She loved the chicken but the steak lacked flavor. Our server and every employee we talked to were terrific. Definitely will go back next time in Vegas.

So few Mexican restaurants are able to create an authentic ambience, deliver fresh, delicious food, and provide superior service. El Segundo Sol does all of this. I can't imagine a better place to find light, fresh, savory food. The guacamole in the molcajete was amazing. Tacos, fajitas, and enchiladas all come with what I consider to be authentic rice and oaxacan black beans. Factor in that you feel like you are transported away from Las Vegas to Mexico and you see that this is a must visit restaurant. Prices are in line with the quality of food. Service is excellent. We will return!
