Overall a very good experience. We were seated at our requested time even though our party unexpectedly increased by two people. The food was very good and time appropriately. Service was also very good.

I love your poke bowl which was taken off the menu and has returned at an enormously increased price. I know restaurants are increasing prices for a number of reasons but your higher prices mean fewer outings for customers. Your menu is great, lots of choices for all tastes so I’m sad that I will br coming way less often. Best of luck to you and to us all.

Beautiful space with friendly service. Portions are very generous so consider sharing. Don’t miss the crab salad sandwich!

At our advanced age we have not caught up the rapid increase in the cost of eating out...but that is what it is. Ignoring that fact of the cost of living today, our view of the quality of food and service stands alone, and that view is that we had a marvelous meal and the service was excellent. We will probably return to enjoy that food and service again soon.

We went to dinner at El Dorado Kitchen with family that was visiting from Minnesota. They loved the food and the ambiance. We ate on the patio The service was great. The next day they again mentioned how nice the dinner was and what a good choice El Dorado Kitchen was as a place to go for dinner.

Went for brunch on Mother’s Day and was disappointed considering how great of an experience I’ve had in the past. We ordered the chilaquiles and chicken and waffles. Chilaquiles came out perfect, waffle came out with fruit and whipped cream all over it and no fried chicken. We told them chicken was missing then they brought out on separate plate about 5 minutes later, but who eats chicken and waffles with whipped cream and fruit all over it. The server did not seem to understand so we sent it back and ordered the grilled salmon fillet. At this point brunch was ruined as we knew we were eating solo. Salmon finally came out about 10-15 minutes later when I was done with my meal and salmon was well undercooked to the point where only about a quarter of the edges could be eaten. Server said it was rare and I told him in my 45 years, unless I ordered sushi I’ve never seen a grilled salmon fillet this way and he didn’t seem to understand. Finished up and walked out with a $150 bill for 1 good meal, an appetizer, and 2 drinks. Unfortunately this experience will probably stop me from going back. When food isn’t right you always agree with the customer and this time it didn’t feel that way. Spent way too much money for brunch for someone to leave hungry because first dish was wrong and second dish was extremely undercooked.

The food was OK, we tried (on the brunch menu) The fried chicken burger, crab salad sandwich and regular burger. Service was awful. We waited 20 minutes after being seated to even just have water poured. Apparently no waiter was assigned to us and the bartender had to serve our table. Generally a fairly awful lunch.

Awesome food and service. Loved the apps should have gotten double if the pork belly and mushrooms. Seafood paella to die for!

I dined here several years ago and loved it. This time was disappointing, especially for the prices paid. My friend had a steak that was completely tasteless and tough - didn't seem like good quality meat, and very poorly seasoned. Side of miatake mushrooms were equally tasteless. I had the salmon and it was nothing special, skin was not that crispy and fish was bland, served on a bed of cut up vegetables. Wine is expensive, I think only one bottle is less than $50 - markup on ours was 4 times retail. Truffle fries very ordinary. Waiter was great. This was a special occasion outing for us and for all in $260 for two, very disappointing.

Truly outstanding food and great service. Nice outdoor patio and great hotel/lobby. Nice clean surroundings. Very generously allowed us to split entre (we bought a very expensive wine!) as we didn’t want too much food.

We eat here a lot since we’re locals. The bread on my crab sandwich was stale so I didn’t eat it. I mentioned it to the server and she took our ice teas off the check. She really should have taken the sandwich off. I worked in restaurants for 20 years and that would have been the way to correct the issue.

Brunch on the patio couldnt be nicer…attentive service, pleasant noise level compared to indoor seating. The beef hash and the huevos ranchero both delicious but the omelette not particularily interesting. Nice light red wine server recommended was just the right choice. This is our first choice restaurant in Sonoma, 2-3 times a year.

We heard about this location from our Airbnb host, and it did not disappoint. Everything was excellent. Staff was attentive. Drinks were excellent. Food was fantastic. The paella dish and risotto dish were cooked perfectly. I will be stopping again the next time I am in Sonoma

Our waiter struggled but tried to keep correcting - gave us wrong menus (dinner rather than lunch), forgot to put in brussel sprouts appetizer to serve before main, asked to split the check 1/3-2/3 and brought us the wrong checks from another table. We left a 20% tip because he was really trying and nice and attentive. Always excellent food - shrimp tacos and tostado. Excellent raw oysters.

Absolutely loved El Dorado. We visited Sonoma and Calistoga during our honeymoon and El Dorado was our favorite meal all week.
