Server came and didn’t want to take our drink order until we looked at the cocktail menu but we didn’t want cocktails then she waited 10 minutes to come back (while just talking to her colleagues-place was very empty) by the time she came back to get a drink order we needed to really order at the same time…it became very rushed and the sticky buns came after the salads

Beautiful setting and excellent service. Less than 5 star rating was due to value. A close to $300 bill for two with tip was a bit above for pretty standard food.

What a lovely evening!! Everything was great. Before this evening, our last dinner there was pre-Covid, so it’s been a while. Outstanding service, a beautiful outdoor setting and really great food I had the sea bass special. Delicious. My only minus would be the sweet rolls. They were stale and dry - not the famous sumptuous ones we had in the past.

lovely restaurant, food very good, extremely expensive. cinnamon buns great however would have preferred bread. Almost seems like it used to be a mexican restaurant and has turned into an upscale restaurant.

El Chorro is a beautiful restaurant with gorgeous outdoor seating under big trees and fireplaces. The service by Joseph S. was outstanding. The menu didn’t have enough choices for me and my husband. We would have preferred more fish and seafood. Same for the dessert menu, we would have liked a lighter healthier choice of berries for example. The prices were high. No entree under $40. The Chilean sea bass special was $68! I had the starter “crab and tuna stack” as entree, as I don’t eat big portions anymore (I’m 75). The stack was good but very small. Half the plate was covered in salty chips. My husband’s salmon was way too salty. Two nights ago I was here with 2 girlfriends. I had the Trout Almondine, excellent. One person had the beef tenderloin, very good. The other person had the “signature dish” beef stroganoff. It was very bland! I would still recommend El Chorro because of the ambience and service, and for certain dishes. Hopefully my comments are constructive feedback for improvements.

My family and I had a lovely celebration dinner at El Chorro. Our server, Sarah, was fantastic and was very accommodating to us and our kids. A few members of our party had to join 45 mins into the reservation and Sarah and El Chorro made sure everyone still got their food on time. Plus, everything was delicious :)

Vicki was the perfect server. Very friendly and not pushy. She attended our glasses of wine perfectly. What an amazing experience, but a little too much wind tonight. At least it wasn’t cold…!!!

Hadn’t gone in years but since new ownership, decided to give it a try- glad we did! Food delicious- beautiful setting, not noisy and Joe did a beautiful job as our server. We’re already scheduled to go back!

Service was amazing and food top notch. Had the Sea Bass special that was amazing. Only disappointment was the overall size for the price of the Cesar Salad. Tasted great just small for the cost. Overall this place is a must go to!

We have come to El Chorro many many times over decades. Previously we have given the restaurant mostly 5 stars, just a few 4s. Today was a disappointing experience. 1) in spite of putting on the reservation that we were celebrating a birthday it was never acknowledged(so what is the point of asking) 2) we selected the special which was dry, not very tasty and the filet overcooked. Price of the special wasn’t mentioned when described 3) waitress asked if I would like a refill of grapefruit juice without indicating it wasn’t like coffee (free refills) 4) waitress was non engaging. On the plus: pancakes were very tasty as was the side of bacon. As always the ambience is terrific. There was a circulating waitress who was delightful, and very personable. Hoping our return we elevate to our previous experiences and 4/28/2024 was a one off.

The staff is always amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable & paying attention. Food was great. Although they didn’t have a favorite; the Green Chili Stew was missing from the brunch menu. Hopefully it makes a come back. ❤️ the free sticky cinnamon buns of course!

Overall good experince there were 3 weddings going on so it was loud and the outdoor seating was closed

One of our favorite local restaurants. We go there every month but wont be going back. Charged $27.00 for a tequila / soda. After dinner asked the bartender if that was the correct price and he shared that there was new ownership and they just raised prices and he described it as “price gouging “. I don’t mind paying more for a drink at a restaurant but $27 for casamigos ( good but not too high end ) is excessive.

My wife and I were there for our 15th anniversary, and we had the absolute best time!! The food was AMAZING!! Our server, Sarah, did a great job! Ambiance was just right for any occasions! We're totally sold for repeated visits.

Such a beautiful patio! They have it set up for everything, fireplaces, fountains, umbrellas with heat and light. It’s an absolute must when we are in town for a few days. Highly recommend. Plus, food is always delicious and service is always spot on. I had the seabass which was amazing and my husband the filet. Yum!
