Really enjoyed eating at Edwin’s. The food has an Indonesian flair and is outstanding. Very reasonably priced for Carmel. It was a Friday evening, so we were entertained by a young woman singing while playing the piano. I was impressed by her command of the standards. Edwin’s is a breath of fresh air in this era of repetitive menu offerings.

The food was outstanding and very innovative. There was only one person serving all of the tables when we were there and he was spread too thin. He did a good job, but a second person would have really helped. The interior is not overly fancy and we ate soon after they opened, they had just mopped and the place smelled of mop-water which was unfortunate. Overall, we would go back, but hopefully they can correct a few of the issues we saw.

Went her for Mother's Day lunch with my family. Staff was incredibly friendly and service oriented. We started off with crispy chicken strips and they were delicious - my kids devoured it. Also ordered the "house made crispy rolls", and that was also good. We ordered several main courses. Singapore Chili Prawns - I enjoyed it, but the rice had too much garlic. I would have preferred plain steamed rice since the prawns had a kick to it. My husband ordered the Island Kawaii - he said it was good, but next time he'll try something different. My sis ordered the vegetarian plate and said that it was ok. We all enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Would recommend it if you're in the mood for island food. The only drawback is parking can be a bear, so give yourself at least 20 minutes to find parking. We arrived 30 minutes before our reservation since it was Mother's Day weekend and it took us at least 20 minutes to park.

Loved it - and loved that it was open mic night. But the music, which started at a nice level, got turned up in an amp and was way too loud for any conversation. But the food and atmosphere was fabulous and the service great.

We booked online for 2 for lunch on a Friday. Their website specifically stated open for lunch Friday to Sunday. And Open Table took our reservation. We drove a long way and when we got there, it was CLOSED! Not even a note on the door. We ended up eating next door at Flaherty’s. What a waste of time.

Stumbled upon Edwin’s cuz i heard live music & dragged my bf and brother to come back. Shrimp dish with garlic rice is unreal. I could eat it every day. Service is awesome too. Servers/owner really cares about working there. Thx for everything :)

Everything was good from the service to the food. There was also a piano bar which was really nice and gave it a nice ambiance.

A fun place for a group - enjoyed the music and vibe. Very friendly atmosphere. I think the food is so-so and expensive. Still, I would return as it is much more fun than other restaurants
