The restaurant was temporarily closed down yet still allowed you to book a reservation online. I even got a confirmation email for the booking when I booked it and the day of the reservation. My partner and I drove all the way to the restaurant only to find it closed. I tried calling and the phone has been disconnected. Highly disappointed and won’t be booking here again.

you have ruined our Christmas. You allowed us to book on Christmas Day but when we went there you were closed!!! You’re terrible.

The food and ambience were good but my Open Table reservation did not show up. Luckily they weren’t t booked out otherwise our Father’s Day lunch would have been a fiasco.

Tried the tasting menu and very pleased with most of the courses. Mistake was to add the green tea cheese cake: unexpected taste and texture. Tables were well spaced and not too noisy so could have decent conversation.

Food was very good and reasonably priced. Many new staff who were not able to help with a few questions we had regarding the menu and drinks. Hopefully that will change eventually.

We loved our experience! The food was great, as were the cocktails. The only feedback I have is that there was way too much pepper on the broccolini, so much in fact that the dish was inedible (we aren’t shy of spices either) The amount of pepper just made the dish unpleasant and unable to be eaten. That being said, everything else was AMAZING. So fresh and tasty and we will absolutely come back and tell our friends about the place. Thank you for a great dining experience!

The food was excellent. We loved the salmon sashimi and the ceviche Tacos were our favourites. We will definitely coming back.

The staff are welcoming with lovely, friendly service. The food is delicious a little pricey for the servings however still sumptuous. The Do you yuzu cocktail was the best.

Superb food and staff and we will definitely return very soon. Family of 5 and we opted for the set menu, every dish was exceptional, a big thank you to the chefs and the waitstaff who were also excellent. We opted for an early booking at 6pm in order to hopefully have a meal and conversation, sadly that ended very quickly when a table of 10 lady’s decided that they needed to yell at each other, with complete disregard for the 3 tables that they had been seated between. Excellent food and service.

Only open for 2 weeks, Edo Tori is a delightful place to eat. Starting with a warm welcome the service was efficient and discreet and the food superb. Delicate tempura soft shell crab, tasty sashimi ceviche nori tako, peppery charred broccolini and the Japanese pickles are not to be missed. Drinks menu includes some interesting cocktails. Average price for quality food.

Did not do the feed me menu and they bought all the food out at once which was a bit frustrating. Took 20 mins before I was even offered a drink, after this we were looked after pretty well.

The set menu was a little low on volume. It was also not traditional Japanese, but lots of fusion. Overall not bad!

We had a delicious meal here and will return! The usual new restaurant pains were felt as the food came out all at once which was overwhelming for the table and the cutlery was not suitable for the food as there were no knives to cut the larger vegetables. Overall it was great!

Edo Tori was a delightful venue with delicious food. The size of the servings was well reflected by the price. I would love for there to be more variety on the menu as they continue to grow as a business. The service was wonderful and every staff member we interacted with was very friendly and cheerful, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend!

For a soft opening pretty good. Need to keep on top of how they represent themselves on first impressions. We were handed dirty menus. It would have been simple to spot and throw them away rather than give to a their customer. Also there wasn't a need to have premade items on the menu. Freshly prepared is always best..

We were there for Sunday dinner, and it was a surprise for us, with very tasty food and creative cocktails. Our favourite was nori taco and the kingfish, which is a creative tasty and great presentation. The white blossom and wild yuzu sour were so yummy and creamy. We will come back soon to try their lunch menu for ramen!

Everything was fantastic, a new Japanese dine-in place you must try! The yakitori- chicken skewer is quite small but with great flavour, we both love the chicken tight and chicken skin, that was amazing!

Has great potential but falling short at present. Played one tune over.. and over.. and over.. until it became annoying. Limited food options for lunch. The food was good but not great. Won't stand out from the crowd in sorry to say.
