We had a very long wait (over45min) with a resv. This is not the first time. HOWEVER when I mentioned it was a long planned birthday celebration, they were very nice. Extra glasses of champagne,extra apps. Etc. extremely generous. My filet mignon was the best I ever had!( sometimes I find that cut a little flavorless). Cooked perfectly. Husband had great steamed sea bass which he loved. Plates come bare with only a steak. Even something green would look nicer. Dessert of a flaming banana & cake was filling,sweet. Had a wonderful meal in the end. Great celebration.

Food was excellent. Prices are high. Service was attentive. A little loud for conversation, even on the patio. Very loud inside. Also a little chilly on patio, should have turned on firepit or heaters. Overall, excellent meal and good ambience.

The dining experience was perfect as usual. The food was wonderful & the service was perfection. Our server Manny always treats us like royalty & is very genuine. We always have a great experience at Eddie V's in Newport Beach.

We went for Mother's Day. Had to wait a little bit for the table but they were gracious and had champagne while we waited. Our waitress was amazing. Food was outstanding. Cocktails equally great. In the end I left my wallet there. They quickly called me to retrieve it. Thank you so much! Love Eddie v's!!

Great experience as always food wise. On the other hand - we sat by the windows and the blinds were filthy and very dusty. They need better cleaning crew 😖 If we paying prime prices for this place they should do excellent cleaning job especially before Mother’s Day.

Gave 3 stars because of food but we were seated near bar area for Mother’s Day - half booth on one side with short chair on the other. My 93 old Mother’s first time there. One waitress serving entire bar area, on Mother’s Day. She was nice but service was very slow. Food took almost 30 mins to come out. Sea bass was good as usual but not the best experience.

We visited our son again so of course we always go to Eddie V. We go to many restaurants and I would rank this location as one of the best. The service of the staff here is top notch.

A little disappointed. I love this restaurant which I why I picked it for my birthday. The food was great. They brought me a dessert and said happy birthday but then it was on the bill. I paid Because I enjoyed it but a $600 bill, you think you could afford a complimentary dessert.

Sasha was delightful. We celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary, and she definitely made it special. The complimentary dessert was a great surprise. Everything was cooked to perfection. We will surely be returning.

Service and ambiance was spot on, Cody was our waiter and outstanding. We had the crab cake for a tarter and it was amazing, we both had steaks for our main and both were cooked and seasoned perfectly. We added a half pound of crab legs and that’s where the quality dropped. Our crab legs were small and dry. We will definitely be back, but not for the crab legs.

My husband and I love this location and the food is always fantastic. We had the shrimp cocktail appetizer, filet with shrimp scampi topper (me), filet and lobster (husband) and a side of potatoes au gratin. The crème brulee for dessert was the perfect finish. This visit stood out as probably one of the best dining out experiences that I've had in a very long time. Our server, Brian, was not only extremely helpful with menu suggestions but was also hilarious. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. He gave us the best service and was very diligent about serving our delicious and piping hot plates, topping off our drinks and just being an overall delight. We will be back soon and will absolutely be asking to sit in his section.

As always, service here was excellent. Clara was great. Love the butter fish and Lamb chop. Pink oysters and Crab cake were so delicious. Fried rice was a little salty for us though, but everything else was good.

This was our first experience at Eddie V’s. The ambiance is on the loud side but our booth was comfortable. The service was awesome, we had a great waiter and the manager was very friendly. We enjoyed our cocktails and I really enjoyed my wedge salad. My wife got the jumbo ship stuffed with crab, however, they didn’t seem that jumbo to us. The flavor was good. I got the filet and lobster tail. The steak was good but was fatty for a filet mignon. The lobster tails was really good. Overall we enjoyed our meal, however, we will probably stick with our “go to” steak house in the future.
