Bradley our server was fantastic. Food was outstanding!!! It was my son’s 24th birthday and they treated him like royalty. The Bison Rib Eye was crazy good. I recommend recommend and return to the restaurant. And to top it it off we leave in California!!! As they say, I shall return!!!

Courtney was NOT a good server…she was just very artificial and rude. Asked what the occasion was but then no follow up to my son: no “Congratulations”…just “oh?!” Took over 15 min to bring a menu that had the specials so we pulled it up on our phone and ordered, telling her my son was hungry. Then she brings the bread (after 20 min since our seating) saying, ‘here is some bread since you are hungry’. They usually bring the bread ANYWAY! By 7:30, most crowd had left and yet, she was too busy to come to our table. When finally brought leftover in a box, she didn’t bother with the promotional bag that everyone, even the Uber-eat guys got to carry the orders. Never left a restaurant feeling so ill treated.

We were extremely disappointed with our dinner at Eddie Merlot's. It was the last steakhouse that we hadn't tried in the DTC/Lone Tree area, so gave it a try for Mother's Day dinner. We ordered the Cowboy Bone-In Rib Eye and the Wagyu Rib Eye and some sides. My daughter and I were splitting the bone-in rib eye and they brought it to our table already cut in half (didn't request this) and they removed the bone and it wasn't on our plate at all. There was no end cap on the ribeye and what was there was inedible fat and grizzle. My husband had the wagyu ribeye and it did not melt in your mouth like other Wagyu cuts we've had. Nothing special about the mushrooms or lobster mashed potatoes. Eddie V's, Perry's or Shanahan's all way better.

Another outstanding dinner!! Josh, our server, is the best. We always request to be seated in his section. He fosters the ambiance of our dinner environment. Our food was prepared exceptionally well and was served at the perfect temperature.

My wife and I have found out that Eddie Merlots menu is way better than any of the buffets that they ever serve. I don’t believe we will attend any more buffet dinners there however, ordering off their menu has always been fabulous.

Reservation for Mother’s Day brunch. Seating was fast, we didn’t wait long from the time we arrived. The food was plentiful with a large variety. However we were disappointed in that a lot of their food was warm at best. The prime rib, lamb chops, mac n cheese, eggs and nuggets ( just to name a few) were lukewarm warm and was practically cold by the time you finished the 1st bite. I would give them a passing grade. Maybe next time I will have a different experience.

The Mother's Day Buffet was excellent. There was a great variety of food and everything was delicious-with one exception. The cinnamon rolls were dry and just not very tasty. However, everything else was truly excellent and we will be returning as we always do.

The special buffets of Easter and Mother’s Day are amazing! Very wide selection of all kinds of breakfast and dinner offerings. All fresh and replenished regularly. Recommend going early around 1030am for a less crowded experience.

We booked a reservation to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my birthday. Tom made our night perfect! He was very friendly, made great recommendations, and made sure our every need was met. This level of service is really hard to find post Covid and we cannot wait to go back.

Avoid Did you ever go out and feel like you just got robbed? It was spendy to about what we expected for a nice meal out, so not crazy expensive - it was just that it was not good - at all. So couldn’t help but feel that we went out and threw our $250+ in the garbage as we certainly did not enjoy our meal. It was a Friday late afternoon when I booked it and I should have known by the wide availability of reservations still available that it was mistake, but I was suckered in by the other reviews. Hopefully this saves you from the same mistake. Service was good overall, if a bit slow. But both the food and drinks were simply between bad and awful. Drinks: Signature old Fashioned - no flavor at all, just a glass of bourbon. I like a strong drink but if I wanted woodford on ice I could have ordered that. Spicy pineapple margarita - no spice, zero pineapple, it just tasted like salt water poured over college grade tequila. They need a new bartender. Food: spicy shrimp app - this actually had good flavor, but the texture was really soggy/gummy. Had the tempura been crispy I could see how this one could have been good. Chopped Salad - was dressed very heavy so came across very sweet and unpleasant. Salmon - overcooked. Steak - was cooked properly but was very chewy, not at all the melt in your mouth Wagyu experience that I paid for…. Sides: Eddie potatoes - I can’t even explain how disgusting these were - it was like two cups of milky soup dumped over undercooked potato cubes and then sprinkled with a cheese that was not even fully melted. How that escaped the kitchen is questionable. Brussel sprouts were ok at best, we split one of the massive sprouts and just left the rest - at this point we simply wanted to get a bill and leave as everything was so bad. The place as very empty - from 7-8:30 on a Friday it was not even close to half full. So I’d say we caught the tail end of a possibly once decent restaurant that is now in a painfully deep decline

This is an expensive restaurant. Our experience was mediocre. Had some trouble with the server and chef on food allergies. Bringing up the topic seemed to surprise the server, which did not understand the allergy and took four trips to discuss with Chef. The main entree came out terrific, but then accruements were served which violated the allergy. So, they were not paying attention to the level I expect when dropping $250 for two for meal and drinks. Other high-end restaurants in comparison have had training and give a lot of attention to food allergies. Eddie Merlot did not. Eddie Merlot does not make the cut for regular rotation of nice restaurants. The restaurant is beautiful and the food wonderful, but at this price I expect flawless attention to food allergies and guest needs.

Our dining experience was, in a word, Superb! We loved the ambiance of the dining room - it is beautifully appointed and quiet enough to enjoy conversation. We ordered the filet trio to share. It was 12 oz of beef, so plenty for the two of us. The meat was cooked exactly to our specifications and the toppings were outstanding. We also shared a Chopped salad which was probably the best I’ve had anywhere. We shared the Eddy Merlot’s potatoes and the Tempura Green Beans. These were both recommended by our server and she did not steer us wrong. To top it off, they brought a Crème Brûlée as a birthday treat! This is our new favorite restaurant and we will look forward to coming back soon! Highly recommend!

Love this place. Food, staff and service are always on point. Not the hype and pretentiousness of the other steak houses in the area.

excellent service. The food was great but the menu listed crab and fingerling potatoes as 2 of the parts of the order and they substituted sausage and mashed potatoes. Overall the night was very good.

It was restaurant week. I had the filet mignon which was excellent and perfectly done. The salad was iceberg lettuce with a few vegetables and over-dressed. The steak came with 3 plain asparagus spears and a glob of heavy, mashed potatoes. My partner’s tuna steak was excellent. The crème brûlée was perfect.

First time here and very impressed with decor and much bigger than I expected. Service was excellent. Soup was very good but a bit skimpy on quantity. Tempura Beans were excellent and plentiful so we brought half home. Filet Mignon was average and appearance fair.

Josh was a great server. He took great care of us on our Anniversary! The 8 oz fillet and blackened salmon were delicious. We will be back!
