We have come to Eddie Merlots on our anniversary many times. Early on, everything was terrific. Service was on point. Food was consistently very good. And it felt comfortable. The last 2 times, the experiences haven't been stellar. This time, in an empty restaurant, we were sat before 530 pm, but it wasas if they were so busy, everything too a very long time. 30 minutes for the drinks. An hour for appetizers and salads. The cocktails were okay, and the appetizers were very good, but our dinners were lacking after waiting another 40 minutes. Four of us got steaks, and 3 out of four were overcooked. Both shareable sides were both cold but were quickly remedied by a microwave. But serving well done steaks when it's supposed to be medium. It happens, but on the 3, then bringing out a new medium steak that was raw in the middle. Only to get the steak back when everyone else was finished. Eating alone wasn't in the cards. For an anniversary dinner, it was memorable in the wrong way. No more excuses. sorry, Eddie's. We're moving on.

The food was good as it always is. I had a lot on fat on my steak. The service was horrible. Granted it was Mother's Day, but no reason for the extremely slow service and our waiter 'missing' in action and not checking in to see if we needed anything. I will leave it at that!

We celebrated Mother’s Day at Eddie’s. They have a dress code which was not completely enforced. There were people there with flip flops and shorts (men).

We were lucky I guess. They had what we wanted on the menu. Unfortunately our server had his hands tied with the kitchen. The table next to us waited for 45 minutes before they received their food. When their steaks arrived they were cooked “rare” not well done as ordered. They walked out without paying but left a nice tip for our server. We had to wait 15 minutes for a cocktail and then another 35 minutes for dinner. Meanwhile the table to the other side of us waited 20 minutes when the server came out to tell them that the kitchen ran out of their entrees 🙄. Poor server. I dined here 20 years ago and it felt like a privilege to get in much less a reservation! It was outstanding then. I will stick to my favorite restaurants like Otto’s, Bouquet, The Governor… they know excellent food. Wish it was a different experience but this is an honest review

Our waiter was SUPERB!!! And, both him & manager stopped by since it as taking longer than usual for the food to get prepared---but we weren't in a big hurry, so we were ok with it. But, they both wanted to make sure we were good with everything. The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD-as usual! The carrot cake was simply DEVINE. They take great care to make sure those with food allergies are taken care of.

Booked a high top in the bar area for my wife and I. Our server was great however the kitchen and food took forever. We ordered oysters rockefeller and they took forever. We split a salad and then waited, waited, and waited some more for our entrees. After two hours we never received them so asked for check for what we had already eaten. The manager came over and apologized for the kitchen being backed up and took care of the bill. We would have happily paid, but it was a nice gesture. However all we wanted was a nice meal not sure if we will be back with all the other options out there.

The food was good, but I have to say the ambience was not. We were shoved in a corner by a window overlooking a highway exit ramp. There were tablesettings (silverware and salt &pepper shakers) on the windowsill. There was a large group of high school kids going to prom, and we were sat right in the middle of them. There are plenty of other tables open but we ended up feeling like chaperones on prom night.

Last night, my husband and I visited Eddie Merlot for a date night during Restaurant Week. Despite being our first time there, the evening was marred by several issues. Upon arrival, we waited at the bar for our table, which actually they sat us pretty quickly even though we were 30 mins early. Our server, Frank, seemed overwhelmed with large tables and failed to promptly take our order. Throughout the evening, there were long waits between courses, and our main dishes that took over 1.5 hours to arrive. Once our meal finally arrived, my steak was served cold, and the extra crab cake I added on was overcooked and tasted charred. Despite these issues, Frank failed to check on us, and it wasn't until my husband spoke to the hostess that the manager (Joe) intervened, offering to comp our dinner. While the gesture was appreciated, the overall experience left a bad taste in our mouths (literally! 😊). However, the manager's gesture of sending us home with desserts was a small consolation.

It was restaurant week..We got the special..One Cesar salad, good and fresh with freshly shaved parmesan. One tiny cup of corn/lobster soup..Luke warm. Creamy bisque with charred corn and shredded lobster bits on top. Okay but not delicious. Two 6oz medium filets. Cooked properly and very flavorful and tender. Mashed potatoes, slightly lumpy and flavorful. French green beans, fine but unremarkable. Dessert of carrot cake and triple chocolate. Both very good. Service was adequate. There was a waiter assistant that brought our water, bread and butter then we never saw him again. Noticed that the wait staff had a wide range of professional looks with their uniforms. Some sloppy and some cleaner and more professional looking as you would expect from a restaurant at that price point. Physical layout inside lends to a noisy atmosphere. Lots of open space. Tables close to each other. Dress code was definitely not adhered to. Saw jeans with 85% open tears, workout wear, etc

My friend and I just had the best meal ever. We did the prix fix and loved the bisque, steak and spinach. Our server, Zach was great!!!

Our server was excellent. The place was sadly empty… the food took a minute to come out and it was missing the cheese!!! But still a good experience.

We had a wonderful dinner and cocktails. Trey was so busy but made sure we were taken care of. The manager sent us over pot stickers that were awesome. My ahi Tuna was the best. Can’t wait to go again.

We were celebrating a birthday and had a fantastic meal. David helped us with menu suggestions and service was exceptional.

The filet mignon is always excellent. The restaurant week menu makes it special.

The service was very good from start to finish. Unfortunately, the table we were given seemed to be chosen for convenience, not to enable the best dining experience. The restaurant was not at all busy (Monday evening) but diners were stacked on top of each other. The food was good, but for the price it should have been better. I had a wedge salad that was good and a NY Strip that had good flavor but it was too thin and had lots of inedible gristle. The bread does not taste as good as it looks.

My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary and the food, ambiance and service were top notch as usual. Joe is the best and treats us like family.
