HH is amazing - bar menu items are far superior to your normal hh variety. Service, food, and drinks are a fantastic experience at HH values in this case.

The food was good, but I have to say the ambience was not. We were shoved in a corner by a window overlooking a highway exit ramp. There were tablesettings (silverware and salt &pepper shakers) on the windowsill. There was a large group of high school kids going to prom, and we were sat right in the middle of them. There are plenty of other tables open but we ended up feeling like chaperones on prom night.

Last night, my husband and I visited Eddie Merlot for a date night during Restaurant Week. Despite being our first time there, the evening was marred by several issues. Upon arrival, we waited at the bar for our table, which actually they sat us pretty quickly even though we were 30 mins early. Our server, Frank, seemed overwhelmed with large tables and failed to promptly take our order. Throughout the evening, there were long waits between courses, and our main dishes that took over 1.5 hours to arrive. Once our meal finally arrived, my steak was served cold, and the extra crab cake I added on was overcooked and tasted charred. Despite these issues, Frank failed to check on us, and it wasn't until my husband spoke to the hostess that the manager (Joe) intervened, offering to comp our dinner. While the gesture was appreciated, the overall experience left a bad taste in our mouths (literally! 😊). However, the manager's gesture of sending us home with desserts was a small consolation.

It was restaurant week..We got the special..One Cesar salad, good and fresh with freshly shaved parmesan. One tiny cup of corn/lobster soup..Luke warm. Creamy bisque with charred corn and shredded lobster bits on top. Okay but not delicious. Two 6oz medium filets. Cooked properly and very flavorful and tender. Mashed potatoes, slightly lumpy and flavorful. French green beans, fine but unremarkable. Dessert of carrot cake and triple chocolate. Both very good. Service was adequate. There was a waiter assistant that brought our water, bread and butter then we never saw him again. Noticed that the wait staff had a wide range of professional looks with their uniforms. Some sloppy and some cleaner and more professional looking as you would expect from a restaurant at that price point. Physical layout inside lends to a noisy atmosphere. Lots of open space. Tables close to each other. Dress code was definitely not adhered to. Saw jeans with 85% open tears, workout wear, etc

My friend and I just had the best meal ever. We did the prix fix and loved the bisque, steak and spinach. Our server, Zach was great!!!

Our server was excellent. The place was sadly empty… the food took a minute to come out and it was missing the cheese!!! But still a good experience.

We had a wonderful dinner and cocktails. Trey was so busy but made sure we were taken care of. The manager sent us over pot stickers that were awesome. My ahi Tuna was the best. Can’t wait to go again.

The service was very good from start to finish. Unfortunately, the table we were given seemed to be chosen for convenience, not to enable the best dining experience. The restaurant was not at all busy (Monday evening) but diners were stacked on top of each other. The food was good, but for the price it should have been better. I had a wedge salad that was good and a NY Strip that had good flavor but it was too thin and had lots of inedible gristle. The bread does not taste as good as it looks.

Our server was friendly but our dinner took over 3 hours and the bar seemed to be incredibly backed up. Our group would’ve had several more rounds if they could have gotten them to us. Food taste/quality was good but many entrees were only warm. I would assume the manager would have noticed how long everything took for our group but they never stopped at our table to check in. We were celebrating 3 birthdays and it wasn’t a great overall experience. We were seated at 645 and were one of the last two tables to leave…and it wasn’t because we were eating/drinking that long. Kind of bummed overall, we chose this restaurant after my husband and I had an incredible experience several weeks ago…we even ate at the bar.

We have started a practice of arriving for a very early dinner on Saturday. The dining room is blissfully quiet shortly after opening, and with the nice soft jazz playing through the house sound system, it is a calming environment. David was our server for our most recent visit, and he was attentive and helpful. A very good server! Manager Jade was welcoming and friendly as always. These elements are part of the reason this is one of our favorite restaurants.

This review honestly makes me want to weep. We have been patrons of Eddie’s for 20+ years. The experience was always excellent. This time however was mediocre and poor. Going to Eddie’s is an experience not just a meal. We barely saw the waitress. We saw very little of the assistant. We were not cherished customers as is our usual experience. The food was good but my daughter’s dinner was overcooked. We did not get a complete coffee service. Please don’t let this restaurant die from horrible service.

Everyone enjoyed the selections, however my 12 oz NY strip steak was the worst meal I’ve had there and not worth $52! It was very thin, overcooked and look like something you would get at a non prime choice steakhouse. Not sure when I’ll return too may better options!

It was nice. The wait staff was good and food was good. The sourdough bread wasn’t my favorite but not terrible. We celebrated a birthday and an anniversary and the free dessert was a nice surprise

Service was amazing! Jo helped is navigate the menu and gave great recommendations. Everything was delicious - steak potsticker appetizers were awesome, steaks cooked perfectly, lobster tail and crab cakes tasty. Only disappointment was Bacon wrapped shrimp- shrimp seemed under done, and the bacon was fatty and not edible … The bourbon desert cooked tableside was amazing and enough for four people to share !!

Easter dinner for two. Great pours on our Lemon Drop and Old Fashioned. Malbec we selected was excellent. Filets were cooked correctly however delivery was somewhat delayed. So, steaks were not as hot as they should have been. Our server, whom my guest thought was great/me not so much, stood by our table for a couple of minutes expecting imminent arrival. Sweet potatoes and garlic mashed were very good.

Overall, this was a nice experience. When I booked the reservation, I had no idea it was a buffet. I am not a fan of buffets, but since were there we decide to embrace it. Drink service was slow, and it took multiple tries at the buffet to get the items we were interested in. But once we did, the food was really good.

I don't know if this was a miss on OpenTable or Eddie Merlot. When I placed the reservation, there was an option indicating whether we wanted to select the Easter brunch specifically or to just order from the regular menu. I had selected ordering from the regular menu and wasn't informed that this wasn't actually possible until after we had been seated (in which case, I'm not sure we would have kept our reservation). Also, despite having a reservation, we had to wait for 25 minutes from the time we arrived. While I understand it was busy for Easter brunch, a simple acknowledgement while we were waiting would've been appreciated.

What a delightful Easter brunch. The service was impeccable. The food was delicious. I look forward to going next year and making it a new tradition in our family.

Went for their Easter Brunch buffet. While the staff was very friendly the buffet lacked that prime dining experience at $75.00 per person and wasn't really any better than what one would expect at a nicer hotel.

Easter brunch was my first experience. Seating was prompt, our server was attentive, but seemed to want us to leave earlier than we wanted to. Food was excellent with a wide variety l of items to satisfy all palates. Chef making bananas foster was especially friendly. Chef at the carving station was very gruff.

My boyfriend and I went to the Easter buffet at 10:15am, we were promptly seated and Donny our server took our drink order and was very helpful navigating the buffet. The shrimp and garlic mashed potatoes were my favorite and the coffee was amazing as well. The resturant is beautiful the food was excellen, it was an amazing time and we will be back for Easter and other occasions as well.

Food was spectacular, sweet and spicy shrimp, the filet potstickers were great. We had the bourbon marinated ribeye, the lemon-Dijon chicken and the wagyu ribeye for entrees. The whole party loved them. We finished off with the crème brûlée and a monster slice of carrot cake. Mark our server and Matt the server assistant were fabulous. Can’t wait to go back!

Not a Jeff Ruby’s or Tony’s meal, but is a nice place to go for a special occasion. Highly recommend the Mac and Cheese. Service was really slow this last time we were there, but my guess is they were short staffed in the kitchen. Waiter tried his best.
