Went for Happy Hour and excellent food and very reasonably priced drinks. We had wonderful tenderloin sliders which appeared to be what was being eaten at almost every other table.. This Happy Hour is on our A-List.

We were dining at EM as it was my daughter's graduation. We had a reservation for 4. We arrived and it took 15 min for a waiter to even come to our table to greet us (he was extremely nice and apologized for the delay). Once he arrived he took our drink order-we all had waters and I was the only one with a glass of wine. We then ordered two shrimp appetizers (one fried and the other a shrimp cocktail), and it took another 40 min to get to us. By the time the appetizers came we were starving and he then put our dinner and salad orders in (that also took another 25 min). My daughter also ordered a diet coke (which was forgotten) and we reminded the waiter after our salads were delivered and it then took another 10 min to get it. Our waiter was very nice and kept apologizing for all the delays. The restaurant comped our appetizers, but by the time our food came, we were almost not hungry anymore. The expediter came to drop off our dinners and our table was covered in dirty empty plates. I am not sure how that the additional plates would have even fit on the table. I had to ask the expediter to remove the dirty dishes before placing our dinners on the table. We were underwhelmed with the food flavor and quality. My steak and crab were cold and the tempura green beans had no flavor. Given the prices at a restaurant like this, the service should be top notch and it was not. It seems like it was more of a lack of staffing and not our waiter per se. I really think that we should not have had to pay for our dinner at all given all the delays, lack of service and poor dining experience.

Kyle was our server and did an outstanding job. When he walked up to the table I thought his youthful appearance would indicate inexperience but I couldn't have been more wrong. He was a pro and made our dinner fantastic. He went above and beyond.

We have become bigger fans of Eddie Merlots every time we are there. The service, food, ambiance, and vibe is always perfect for a special night out (or more recently for us- any night we are in the mood!). We took another couple and they were blown away. We did go all out and order multiple cocktails, the seafood tower, and one of us ordered the highest end Australian steak. Everyone loved the food and we finished off with the table side bananas foster which was perfect as always! The table had rose petals and a birthday card for the birthday girl and there was live music in the bar area (it was a Friday so I think that’s pretty typical) which made the vibe even more fun and energetic! It was a little loud but died down after some people left. Their rewards program is amazing and keeps us coming back, and there are really no complaints! We have been served by many servers but Kyle and Mikiel are both outstanding and knowledgeable about the menu! The manager always swings by to make sure we’re doing well and it’s just the perfect spot for any (or no) occasion!

I ordered the Cajun rib eye the steak was very bland , so was mac !! Asparagus was good. Service was good.

We want to celebrate our anniversary! The ambiance was great the food was spectacular, and the service was top notch. Our waitress Aubrie was so attentive and provided great recommendations. We will definitely be back.

Emily was excellent. Food was divine and really enjoyed our experience. It was my second time in a week visiting Eddie Merlots. My sea bass could not have been sautéed any better and was butter soft. The berry white martini is what I always get. I wish I could make it at home. The broccoli was steamed to perfection. The whole experience was quite nice.

Eddie Merlots has always been a favorite but I ordered a rare hamburger with tomato and grilled onions with mayo and ketchup. The hamburger came well done with no tomato, sauteed onions and no mayo. I was on a time schedule and couldn't wait to send it back for a new one. One more thing to note, the bar chairs are very low in relation to the table. The server brought a pillow which helped.

I had the Del Mar Trio, I felt that my food could have been hotter/warmer, the shrimp tastes over charred and I got 4 Itty bitty fingerling potatoes. My steak was good but not warm.
