It's a little pricey but the ambiance makes up for it. The weather was great for November ~ another great reason to enjoy outdoor dining in the winter in SoCal!

All awful!! Not enough staff.. website has wrong information about Sunday brunch being served with daily grill brunch menu. Double checked with staff week before IN PERSON who checked with boss and confirmed IN FACT EDB does serve daily grill brunch. BUT YOU DON’T!! Over an hour waiting for food after ordering from DAULY GRILL BRUNCH MENU L… had to beg for drinks…. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL only AFTER food was served with apologies for delay that we weren’t supposed to order off DG brunch menu which is why it took so long… ARE YOU EFFIN SERIOUS??!!!! That was OUR FAULT??!! 🤔🤔🤔🤔

Decent cross section of food choices. The taps they have from Lincoln Brewing (down the street) are Awesome! The Paella was much too spicy hot to eat... and I enjoy eating hot stuff. I've never had a spicy paella; maybe the cook is confusing it with jambalaya/gumbo/creole spicing. I bet 98% of average diners would have returned it to the kitchen because of the over-the-top heat. It was Thai 4-5 spicy.

We have been here a number of times. The menu is limited, but sitting outside with some shade and a light breeze on a June Summer evening with a good drink and your loved one is perfect.

Would recommend eating here if you’re staying at the hotel attached, otherwise maybe not the best place for a weekend get-together. Overpriced for the menu and felt kind of generally abandoned.

Outdoor seating only. It’s a hotel restaurant, so the ambience is pretty casual, with the business travelers cutting loose over beers around you. We liked the vegetarian options, and the bang bang cauliflower was the best option.

We went to E.D.B. not knowing what to expect and were totally pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is set in an adorable courtyard that has comfortable and spacious seating. The menu was interesting with something for everyone. The lychee martinis were amazing. Our waiter, Anthony, was awesome. He was attentive, on a very busy day, but not intrusive. We will definitely be back.

The entire staff was super friendly and easy to work with on accommodations. The drinks are BOMB!! & although service was a bit slow because they were super busy they were always super kind. Shout out to our waitress and the hostess.

What a wonderful meal!! It started a little slow because it was crowded and the kitchen had gotten backed up. However the staff was lovely and the food was definitely worth the wait! We ordered the pretzel, Caesar wrap and the skirt steak with Avocado and Chimirchurri sauce. They were fantastic! The asparagus that came with the steak literally melted in the mouth. Thanks for a great night!

Nice ambiance if looking for a casual outdoor place for drinks and appetizers. Heaters, fire pits and T.V.'s make it a comfortable place to watch sports, too. The downside is that it's located at a hotel by the airport so only 4 stars.

This was a truly awful experience. I rarely take the time to say anything if I’m unhappy at a meal, but this visit included everything from the lack of server presence and response, to our food showing up missing items an hour after we had ordered. Nothing that came to the table was correct. And even once the kitchen had adjusted (as best they could-we weren’t informed that there were inventory issues of items we ordered until after our meals arrived wrong) the food was still barely tolerable. I’m pretty convinced that this whole meal was just frozen food items from the Costco up the street. I have never been so uncomfortable or irritated by a dining experience. On top of all of this, the servers and bartenders were not COVID compliant whatsoever. We will never be back.

We were there early, about 5:15 so it wasn't busy at all. Very nice patio and ambience. Food is good depending on what you order. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

This is the 5th time I’ve been to EDB but first time since before pandemic started. The menu has changed and the food was bland and not very tasty. The Wagyu Sliders were extremely dry. The pattys and the buns were very dry and the cheese wasn’t even melted. The fries were good, although we asked for BBQ sauce and it came when we were almost done with the fries. The grilled Caesar salad was not very flavorful. Maybe this was an off night so l think about giving them another chance.

We have been here about a half a dozen times and the drinks are always pretty good to excellent. I wish they offered or had more beer selection (tonight over half of the taps were out). Food is pretty inconsistent and could honestly be presented much better. This review is primarily for the food tonight as it was good, but the value and presentation was sorely lacking. Two of us ordered the fish and chips and one got the Salmon Salad. Fish and chips was a GIANT serving of fries and three super skinny fish strips. Seriously, the strips were smaller than what you'd get at McDonald's. They tasted fine but I had to get food on the way home because they didn't get anywhere near to satisfy my appetite. Salmon salad was also a let down as the piece of fish was dwarfed by the huge bowl of greens served in a medium sized deep bowl. It was very difficult to eat and most of it was left behind. Our server was excellent. She had numerous tables and made drinks while taking orders and running food. If this was my first visit, I wouldn't ever go back. Since we've had other, better experiences, we'll go back, if only for drinks, and hope they are able to reverse course and get back to speed.

LOVE this place! We went last Saturday for dinner, after finding this place in Opentable. I was surprised to know, that the restaurant is outside of the Marriot Hotel. The place is great! Outdoor sitting , Big T.V's around, very nice music all over, perfect ambiance. The food was very tasty, everything we ordered was delicious. Our server was Selina - beautiful young lady. She was very polite, kind, nice, attentive and always smiling. We had an amazing evening. We will be back.

I made a reservation but was placed outside the general dining area with no apology what so ever. Apparently making a reservation here means nothing because it doesn’t save you a table. Poor service and rude staff completed the experience. Better places to spend a Friday evening .

UPDATE: We went back to EDB last night and the manager really took care of us and made good on the issues we previously had and it was outstanding. Thank you, Jessica! The food here and the environment is really great especially during COVID as they were built to be outside. However, the service is dismal. Both times we've gone, it's been really quite bad. It's not that they're unfriendly, they are super friendly, they are just not organized or efficient. It's REALLY slow.

Went here for a night out with a friend (covid style-outside social distance). Everything was fair. It was decently busy, the outdoor patio was roomy, cute. A decent meal for a decent price, but wouldn’t necessarily rush to go back.

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to eat. The food is good, reasonably priced, and a great ambience! The service is a little spotty. Sometimes, the servers are attentive, and sometimes they just disappear & you have to ask someone to find them. Still, the food and atmosphere are worth it!

So tonight was date night. I found this place doing a Google search, I had no idea that this place existed. Made a reservation and we were seated in a timely manner even though we showed up 10 minutes early because I didn't want to miss too much of the Clippers game. The place looks amazing at night and perfect for date night and a quarantine night. People were spaced out well and seems like they were following all pandemic protocols. Let me tell you, service is painfully slow. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed. To her credit she apologized multiple times. They seemed well staffed but I could be wrong. Seriously though the time waiting for drinks, time waiting for any kind of service was just not acceptable. Food was good though. We had Flatbread, a burger and sashimi appetizers. The Old fashions were mixed very well. Service was just not good. We will most likely come back due to the ambiance and outside setting but if the service suxs again, we will NOT be returning!!

We went around 8pm Sunday evening and there were more people there than I anticipated but everyone was spread out pretty far for social distancing. The space is large and sits right in front of the Marriott Hotel. The ambiance was very nice with dimly lit lights all around. The server was attentive and gave excellent recommendations! We had the Sashimi appetizer (8/10) and the Salmon for our entree (10/10) which was so amazing! Drinks were excellent also. Looking forward to go back to try the Trout Entree that was also recommended! Thank you E.D.B. for a nice evening date!

Very clean and organized . Our Bartender and Hostess was amazing. He was handling the whole outside area and he was very attentive and on top of things. Menu had a variety and was good. Spread out great for the pandemic. Would go back again.

We were super pleased with the meal and service. Initially surprised by the recommendation, my wife and I decided to give it a shot. Couldn’t have left happier, fuller and feeling great about the dining experience! The staff and safety precautions were on point and we really felt safe while enjoying tasty food and fantastic service!
