Earp Distilling Co. is an ultra-modern distillery and bar located in harbour-side Carrington, Newcastle. Our distillery tasting bar offers our locally crafted spirits, cocktails, wine and beer with a seasonal food menu featuring local produce. Explore our distillery on a guided tour, experience our unique spirits flavours with a guided tasting or learn to distill your very own gin in our Spirit School class. The food was fantastic but waiting for 1.5 hrs to eat was too long. It was also really loud, given the size of the room, little soft furnishings and how many people were there, you could have done without the live music.

The food and service were sensational. The staff went above and beyond to respond to our questions and needs. Great atmosphere and delicious food, not to mention the drinks - limoncello is the best!

It was our first time at Earps Distillery, it was a great afternoon the service was fantastic, really nice, friendly staff, food was amazing & great Gin, I bought a couple of bottles for birthday day gifts. We will definitely be making another booking soon, plus planning on going to the Paint & Sip night.

Hi I booked for 7 people when our friend arrived she was advised it was booked for 6 The table next to us was very loud and we could not hear each other talking , so had to ask to be moved , I ordered food and paid for it with my card and then our friends went to order and pay for their drinks and they were also charged for our food on top of their drinks , Would have thought the tally was on the table number and my order was marked as being paid The staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing and not the usual confident team we have encountered previously

As usual the food was a standout! Service was not something to brag about. I’m not sure where this directive comes from but I don’t understand the whole “not using a pen and paper” to take orders. Remembering a large food and drinks order off the top of your head is not at all ‘impressive’ to me as a customer if multiple things on that order are forgotten. The net result is frustration and annoyance (rather than being impressed) resulting in flagging the attention of staff and having to ‘re-order’ what was forgotten. I’d much rather recite a large food/drinks order and know it’s been scribed correctly down on a notepad instead of dealing with the stress of knowing “will the waiter or waitress remember that entire order”. Would encourage staff to scribe things down to ensure nothing is forgotten. This won’t stop us coming back to Earp, as Carrington locals we love the place - however this isn’t the 1st time the above scenario has panned out for us at Earp. Just some polite feedback :)

The drinks menu is creative and we were attended to with great courtesy. The food was delicious and we continued to try small and larger share plates. Amazing place to go for dinner with friends.

Earp is a fabulous venue and well worth a visit. Food was magnificent, service was on point and the cocktails are next level! It's now my go to for a long lazy lunch and the festivals they host are the best!

I had a lunch booking with girlfriends. Not a lot of customers at our time so noise not a problem. Larry our service provider was exceptional adding his personality to the service provided. However all staff were very personable and even explained the workings of the brewery to us. Food was great but only downside was limited dessert menu and no tea or coffee on the menu. We all thoroughly enjoyed our luncheon. So Thankyou to all involved.

The food was great with share plates being bigger than expected. Cocktails were very enjoyable. To top it off, wait staff member by the name of Jason was incredibly friendly and engaging. He made the experience great and we will return as a result

Enjoyed a lovely lunch on a quiet Tuesday with a lobster roll and juniper gin - delicious. Other dishes equally satisfying - calamari, chips, moussaka, wagyu beef. Staff were very nice :)

Family friendly, spacious warehouse vibe. Staff were super friendly and made us feel well looked after. I rang ahead and confirmed the booking and asked if they had any high chairs for my 18m old which they did not however they were so accommodating to her. I felt totally at ease with her making a mess and running around a little. A change table or facility to do so would have been a bonus. Thanks for a great lunch/drinks we’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic overall experience. Very good table service. Explained gin pairings and tasting suggestions. Must have the pork! Chips! and everything else. Will definitely book again.

Although a little out of the way it is definitely worth visiting this place. Easy parking, great ambience, fabulous service, and amazing food. Highly recommend both the restaurant and an blending experience.

Went to EARP for a Spirit Blending Class. Arrived early and had a Cheese Plate. The serving was very generous. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. After the class stayed and had the Crunchy Cauliflower which was also delicious and a very generous serve. The Spirit Blending Class was a lot of fun. The class was conducted by Liv who was great. Liv was fun and I learnt a lot making two bottles of gin with my own mix of flavours. I would highly recommend a visit to EARP even if you just wanted some drinks. If you love Gin then EARP is for you. Their Vodka and Rum is also really nice.

We go out for dinner all the time and finally someone as good service. The staff were always checking on, making sure we had drinks & food. Cocktails were awesome & food was good. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu. Good Job! Keep up the service it makes you stand out by far

I had heard about this place from many other people, but had never had the opportunity to go myself. We sampled the entire cocktail menu, and all the drinks were excellent. The food we did sample were excellent, and cooked perfectly. But on top of this, the staff were excellent. They were all so knowledgeable about their drinks and the products that go into their drinks. The staff's passion, particular Liv as the bar manager, made the night, and will make us definitely want to go back. Highly recommended.

Had a great time but was very disorganised. Sitting in front bar was disappointed we were served plastic cups for $25 cocktail and wine

Outstanding service by vibrant, happy, helpful staff. The food here is DELISH, and we were happily surprised by the staff going above & beyond to ensure our experience was superb.. we were given a complimentary cheeseboard and a scrumptious alternative seafood dish when our original choice wasn't available.. thank you SO much! Very unexpected and appreciated! Oh.. and did I mention the lush gin and cocktails?! Go, sip, indulge.. Earp is brilliant!!

The share plates were absolutely delicious. We were spoilt for choice with the variety of beautiful plates to choose from. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. I will absolutely be back!

Fantastic night. Dinner & Gin Blending class was so much fun. Staff made it. All were funny, engaging & attentive. Highly recommed! Best night.

I requested low seating chairs as there were some older guests in our group. When we arrived we were greeted straight away and the seating was perfect. The service was excellent and an exciting young vibe along with great cocktails made it all very enjoyable.

We loved the Earps very impressive decor. The food was amazing compliments to the chefs. The service was very efficient and a very happy waitress. We will go back next time in Carrington.

We dined early on Friday night. We were met by a fantastic lady who looked after us so well, with a great mix of care and humor. As vegetarians we were delighted with the wide selection of dishes available to us and so impressed with the flavour, presentation and overall quality. We thouroughly enjoyed all aspects of our night out. Standout dish was Cauliflower Laksa, soooooo tasty, thank you Chef. Ps all staff were super friendly and welcoming. We will be back.
