Always great at Earls. Love the half priced wine night. It brings us in. I was sad to see that the menu has changed. Appears to be much of the same old. Caesar salad, Hunan chicken. Eye roll. Greens and grains are no longer on the menu. As well as the Bancock bowl. We had to look for other options. I had the pulled chicken clubhouse. It was a clubhouse. For $23.00! Need to rethink this. My husband had the roast beef sandwich. Yawn! Where is the menu we love. Sorry to say for the prices being charged… get creative! I am only saying this because I was asked. We love earls. But …

There was a small hiccup when we first arrived but they fixed it and made it right without us saying anything. The waitress we had was fantastic.

We had an email stating that we were going to be seated in a booth. We got there and we were not given a booth. They did offer to move us, but we were already settled in.

Thank you Earls South common, in Edmonton. For accommodating our large family group of 14. It is not always easy to handle a larger table, but the server and staff did a wonderful job of looking after our needs. It was great to connect with family from BC and Calgary, and I would definitely recommend this restaurant for nice weekend lunch. The dishes were all highly rated by everyone, and I really love the brunch options! The fried potatoes are amazing. Thanks again for the wonderful service!

The big tv screen was dirty to watch the oilers win the manager said he would take care of it tomorrow before the next game so we are going to check and see if he got it done if not hope he buys a drink !!

We were a table of two for 1200 and we had an amazing server. Wish I had gotten her name. Dark ish hair shoulder length. Amazing customer service.

We come to Earl's for the food. The last couple of times, the quality of the meat was not good. This time, the steaks were excellent: very tender and flavorful. As a whole each of our dishes was judged to be very good indeed. The service was certainty good, but the noise level is daunting for seniors.

The wait staff was very attentive and courteous and the atmosphere was good. Myself and my friend ordered our favourite meal, the Cajun chicken fettuccine with the Cajun spice in sauce. Unfortunately it was not as creamy or flavourful as the last time we had it. Even the extra spice and sauce they brought for us didn’t help, so not sure why the taste was inconsistent. Great service but the food was underwhelming.

Our server and the manager helping us were fantastic! Absolutely loved them. Unfortunately we had a few food mishaps. They were quickly and efficiently taken care of. Overall we had a fun evening and enjoyed the service we received from the ladies attending to us.

Our server was patient ( since it was 6 girls lol ) she was caring, and checked on us multiple times. Unfortunately I cannot remember her name but she was amazing! The manager even came to our table and asked how everything was and how our server was doing which I appreciate that! Thank you so much to the cooks, bartenders, waitress & anybody between! 😊

My companion and I had the Chicken Hunan Kung Pao which was delicious. The service was adequate, but not outstanding. My major issue was the temperature of the restaurant; I was freezing, although my companion was at the age with an internal furnace, lol. I will go again to Earls for the Kung Pao, but at a warmer location.

As a gluten-free customer, Earl’s really needs to provide a wider variety of gf options. Many of their selections could easily be made gf by using a gf soy sauce, which would provide several more choices. The main choices they provide (steak and chicken…) are the most expensive items in the menu. Due to my current diet limitations, I was looking for a more easily digestible option than meat. I chose a salad, which was delicious but I left still hungry. The yes/no question below needs a ‘maybe’ or ‘It depends’ option. I would recommend for people with no dietary restrictions, but not for people needing gf choices.

Great, professional Staff. The Manager that night went above and beyond to add a few special touches to make the night memorable. The food was good too, pretty standard menu. Overall The South Common Earls location is by far my favourite in the city. It's a great spot if you want to dine with any size group. They're always busy so make sure to book ahead.

We had a group of 7 for lunch. Our server (Pam) was absolutely wonderful. Took our orders, handled drinks and refills, made sure to check frequently without being overbearing and got us out within the hour. Food was hot, fresh, and served in a timely fashion.

A wonderful location to celebrate a birthday. They provide balloons, a birthday card and a complimentary dessert for the birthday person. Our server was awesome and the food was great!

Restaurants that cannot cook steak property should not have it on the menu. We ordered a medium steak that came out rare 2x and then the third time it was well-done. All of the rest of us ate and one person sat waiting for food. Taking the meal off the bill still is not enough. With the high prices, customer service is essential and going out to enjoy a meal with friends and family is the only reason for going out. If one person is left without a meal - that ruined our evening. Also VERY VERY loud atmosphere. Very disappointed.

My wife and I go there for most of our date nights and are always blown away at the service. Our waitress was amazing, food was delicious and very nice setting. Can't wait to go back.

We dined here on a busy Friday night. Our server, Grace, and server assistant, Sophia, were attentive and served well despite the business. As it was a Friday night, it was a bit loud with chatter, but I was still able to hear across my table and hold a conversation. We had a booth against the wall. We had the spinach and artichoke dip (delicious), the crispy tofu sushi tacos (a bit small for their price, but still decent) and the chicken fettuccine alfredo (also delicious). For dessert we tried the basque-style cheesecake; it was presented quite nicely, and tasted good (although it was not very caramelized or gooey as basque cheesecakes often are). Overall a good experience!

Almost awesome....a couple of misses, some menu's offered seasonal specials no longer available, dinners were generally spot-on but my frites were room temp. And, being busy Friday night, no one was able to check on our '1st bites'. Still, staff were personable & keen to ensure we had a great meal.

From the bartenders Angela and Devin to the managers Chris and Bryce, even the hostesses at the front door everyone was charming, helpful and so kind. Made my date night the most magical ❤️

The music level at times was so loud we couldn’t hear the people at our own table. We would have enjoyed our visit and meal more without the distraction of the loud music. The food was great, it’s just not a place to eat and socialize in comfort. For that reason, I will not recommend it to our friends.
