We had outstanding service, from them calling us prior to our reservation to see if we have a preference on seating. To our waiter who was quick and personable and our food was fantastic!

On of the best experiences my wife and I had there. The food was amazing. The waitress I wished I remembered her name but she was absolutely amazing we had a great time and really great food.

Our waitress would only come to one end of the table and we couldn’t hear her from the other end when she spoke to us. She also dropped off the food from the one end and reached across the entire table to hand us plates mid air in front of our friends faces instead of going around and putting them down in front of each individual. Our second round of drinks took about 15 minutes to come and the place wasn’t overly busy. All of the steaks were not cooked properly. when my friend who ordered a medium steak got a well done steak she did mention it and the waitress did get the kitchen to remake her dinner. However, it came back and she stood there while my friend cut into her steak and saw that it was very clearly rare and said “all good” and walked away. It was not good. She then charged my friend for the steak so I then complained that she is not paying for steaks that were cooked completely wrong twice.

Had a wonderful time with my favourite people. Our server was great. Food was delicious (pasta a tad undercooked for the chicken Alfredo, but I ate it all, so wasn’t that bad). It was just a great time. Thank you!!

Feb 15/24 I had a reservation for 2 couples to Celebrate a special occasion. My husband and I showed up first and were seated. The next couple arrived (They used my name and reservation) and was seated on the other side of the restaurant. Over 30 minutes later I texted the other couple to find this out ! Was Very frustrated and Angry ! Grateful we weren't in a hurry to be somewhere else. Not 1 thing was done to make this better - free drink, desert or anything. Was not cool !

Our server was fantastic! She took great care of us and was readily available if we needed anything. The food was disappointing. I ordered a dish I had ordered before only because it seemed the best option for the price - it was enjoyable and the portion size was enough but I prefer ordering new dishes instead of 'playing it safe'. My husband ordered the truffled parmesan chicken and wow it was SAD - the saving grace was the chicken was cooked perfectly and was moist but I've had a more complex flavour palate come from a grocery store deli chicken finger. At one point I took a bite of the risotto (which was nothing amazing but palatable) with the accompanying arugula, asparagus and the chicken - somehow the chicken drained all the flavour like a black hole of bland. I'm not even sure there was pepper and salt involved in the making of this chicken. Unfortunately I will not be recommending anyone go to Earls for a meal, which is a loss as it used to be one of my favourite places to eat.

The steak was awesome and was medium rare as we ordered it. The vegetables- Brussel sprouts and various squashes was hard and could only eat a few pieces. Other than that, the experience was good.

It’s super disappointing when you go out to dinner with 6 people and all your food comes out at different times. This is not a large group and there is absolutely no reason this should happen. People go out to dinner to eat together.

We arrived to our reservation as booked. It took over an hour to get our appies and another 45mins for our main. The restaurant was busy but not full. Our waitress apologized for the wait with no explanation or offer to comp or discount our tab. Food was excellent but overall disappointed in the service.

My medium well steak came to me medium rare. Had to wait for a second steak to be cooked. Husband had to eat alone. Second steak came, it was ok - not great. Ordered crème brûlée for dessert. Waited 25 minutes for it, but we left. It was NOT busy at 7:20 so idk what the excuse was for that. We’ll not be back.

Food was great. Our waiter messed up multiple times. Others as well. Super disorganized. Kept coming to our table getting us mixed up with everyone. Ordered food we didn’t order but refused to give them to us anyways. Messed up our bill, ordered my main with my appetizer. When I say multiple mess ups in the first 2 min of sitting there was 3 different people having no idea what was going on come up to us. And it just continued. We were shocked. Other than that the food was great. Nothing for birthdays though and even when stated it was my brothers birthday they still looked to me. But that’s w.e we just laughed it off I guess. Price was up there but no worse than any other place.

I understand that it was New year’s Eve and it was very busy but we had multiple things happen to us in a short amount of time. First, we ordered an appetizer and my partner’s main dish came out before we got our appetizer and we sent it back. Second, her main dish came out and my order was “lost.” The server tried to play it off as a timing issue and spoke to her manager. There was apparently confusion during their interaction and the wrong dish was brought out for me which they did give us for free. Finally, the manager approached our table and apologized for the confusion before my dish was brought out and tried to explain the situation and did so poorly. I asked what else he could do for us due to our poor experience thus far, and he said he would take care of our drinks. Later when the server came back to our table, she said that he would take care of a round of our drinks, not the same as what he had told us. We were very understanding and polite throughout the entire experience but we decided that we will never be going back to this location.

I love coming to earls. One of my most favourite places. Server last night wasn’t the greatest I’ve had tho. Cared more about chatting with others and being at other tables far longer than needed.

Good service and decent food, a bit pricey like everywhere these days. Just a bit to loud so made ordering hard as our waiter you could tell was speaking at a decent level but still struggled to hear him.

One meal came 15 minutes after all the other meals and one steak was way over cooked. They compensated this by providing two free desserts.

I had the chicken truffle pasta. The chicken was overly salty. We had two of our grandkids with us. They didn’t have any colouring sheets or crayons for them. They couldn’t even come up with a piece of paper in a pencil. It was very disappointing for the kids. The place was beautifully Decorated. They also charged us for a drink that we didn’t get we didn’t even order it.

It was disappointing to have found extra tables crammed into the space for maximum capitalistic objectives. I have enjoyed Earls in the past but when it is so crowded and loud, it is hard to have a quality experience. I felt sorry for the waitresses trying to shimmy down the small spaces between tables. It was hard not only to talk to your own party but also trying to provide the server with your order was incredibly difficult. I probably will not book a dinner event there again knowing there will be very little space and have to yell at each other while trying to have a special meal. The food was great as usual. Overall experience - 3 Stars.

We haven't been to Grande Prairie Earls in over 2 years. The previous 3 times were terrible. This time service was great food was great. We will definitely start going more often again. Love the new extensive wine list. Best selection in G.P>
