Earl’s menu is predictably good. This time the service was slow—even though the restaurant wasn’t overly crowded. My steak was tasty, but came out medium instead of rare, as ordered. Over all, moderately disappointed.

Took 10 mins for a host to actually come and greet me and seat me. Restaurant was dead when I got there and servers kept walking past and looking at me and making eye contact with me and not acknowledging me.

The server was not very attentive. We had to ask another server to have her come by so we could place our order. She then proceeded to wipe down an empty table before coming over. My son’s fries were cold and daughter’s food was not good. It was the worst experience at an earls we have ever had.

Our server was excellent. Unfortunately one bad meal can kind of ruin an experience. I use to love the west coast prawn pizza but not tonight. The crust was over cooked / burnt and what happened to the pesto and the sun dried red tomatoes as well very few prawns. Basically one prawn maybe another half on each piece of pizza. It was sad looking pizza and very bland. Garlic toast served with my husband’s salad was tastier. I should have taken a picture. I usually do but this is Earl’s and I have never had to complain about a bad meal.

We had a fantastic waitress. Normally do not go to this location and was quite impressed. However it was very loud as it was a Saturday night. The food was good, drinks were yummy and location is in a great area!

Earls on 170th is amazing. We came for a friend’s birthday lunch and they provided us with complimentary Prosecco, dessert, and a card. It was incredibly generous and very unexpected! The staff was great and checked in on us throughout the day. The food never missed either. An Edmonton staple!

Great service! Lianne our server was lovely, made sure we were well taken care of. The manager Conor was so kind and accommodating Thanks Earls 170th for a great evening and amazing happy hour. Will be back.

Our server was not attentive. We had to eventually flag down two other servers to get additional service. The burgers were good but definitely over-priced. We used to be regulars but crossed Earls off our go-to list 1.5 years ago when Earls wrecked their happy hour menu and prices. Will cross Earls off our go-to list again. Fortunately lots of other choices around this location.

I had made a reservation for a business lunch. The table was ready for us, and the service, food and drinks were fantastic. The ambiance was lovely and it was very comfortable. We took advantage of the Dine Edmonton set menu and the portions are amazing. Would highly recommend!

Three diners - two of us had a full rack of ribs with 'warm potato salad', which actually ended up being potatoes vaguely tasting like roasted potatoes that had been covered and let to steam till very soft. There was no dressing on the potatoes and other than salt, no flavour, and nothing resembling 'potato salad' we've ever tasted (and we are from Europe). The coleslaw served along with the ribs, on the other hand, was drenched in mayonnaise, and almost inedible. Caesar cocktail was requested to be without extra spices but arrived with rim loaded with cracked pepper and lot of 'grinds' of pepper and spices in the liquid. Once alerted, the waitress kindly brought the correct cocktail. Overall, very disappointing and we will not be back.

I reserved a table in the restaurant. But we were placed in the bar with my kids and mother (85). It was quite loud. Although there were tables in the restaurant it seemed a challenge to go there instead. However the server was incredible and took care of us.

I've been to Earls many times before and the food is always very good. This particular night I was very disappointed that on the new and notables menu they were out of Parmesan Risotto chicken. I settled for the half rack of ribs which were good but not what I was looking forward to. I find that with the new decor which is very nice, they took away the divider between the bar and dining, so the music was quite loud and it was quite noisy. I will go back again though as it's one of my faves.

Music has to be turned down every time I go to Earls West End 170 st I find it very difficult to hear the other people who are talking. We always ask for the music to be lowered but no luck. Otherwise all is good. I'm talking about lunch hour. I go to this location 2 or 3 times a week.

Disappointed in the fact Earls is not exactly family friendly. Been many times before kids wanted it so we went, no kids menu. Sorry I’m not spending $20 for chicken tenders or a burger for a one year old. Only options for a high chair or booster is a perch type chair or a booster seat… they didn’t know the weigh capacity on the perch, I knew my one year old wouldn’t sit in a booster with no staps. The perch was small my 1 year old looked crammed in it. Over all not impress with the lack of family friendly options.

Great food. We had oysters (very nice, excellent mignonette) West Coast Prawn pizza (light and tasty) and the cheesecake (very yummy! The cookie and fruit make the dish) Great service. Restaurant is a little loud.

I haven't been to an Earl's in ages and I had never been to the 170th Street and 100 Ave location before but I will definitely be back after the experience my husband and I had. The ambiance was fantastic, great liquor, drink, and food choices. I was very pleased to have spent Valentine's Day there.

Staff were very accommodating when we wished to be reseated, the booth was just too small to fit 4 people with winter coats. Moved to a seating for 4 with two chairs and semi circular seating for two - was perfect. Food was great, nicely presented, staff were friendly and efficient, and they did not rush us. We had a lovely time - 2 couples in our 70s celebrating Valentines Day. The music was a little loud but we adjusted quickly and ended up ignoring it.

Overall the food was good and arrived in a reasonable time. The lettuce used in the lettuce wrap wasn't great but it didn't ruin the experience. Not as many gluten-free items as I would hope for. The White Chocolate Crème Brûlée was great

We went on NYE and also was a special occasion for us. We love the spinach dip and we both were looking forward to that. I made reservation for 7pm we got there early and were able to see seated and that was nice. The waitress was lovely took our drink order and we asked for spinach dip and at 6:49pm they ran out? It was nye and that early we both very disappointed. The manager did come over and she was great offered drinks or dessert. I know it’s only a dip but when you look forward to it and the cost of going out we just don’t go out that much.

Ambience and service was very good. Food unfortunately was not up to par. I had the surf and turf (lobster). My girlfriend had the steak and sushi. The only complaint for both our dinners was the steak. I ordered mine medium rare and it came our well done. Little seasoning and tough. My girlfriend's came out right however was very chewy. Everything else we ordered was great. The lobster was cooked to perfection and and decent size tail. All other sides were very good. Drinks were great. We were given a free dessert for the steak which was appreciated. Could have been an off night in the kitchen. I'd come back.

It was a really good experience until after the main was done, we decided to look at dessert but our server was didn't come back to us for about 20 minutes. She was all around clearing tables, delivering food etc and we finally got her attention and just decided to get the bill at that point. It was NYE ... but 6:30 pm and not overwhelmingly busy ... very odd.
