We enjoyed a lovely meal with 5 people - the service was excellent and the food was very tasty. We will definitely be back when we get the chance.

We came for a family meal for 8 onEaster Saturday. Lovely food service was slightly slow but didn’t spoil the wonderful food we had . Ordered drinks when meal arrived but never came bye time we finished the food so manager took them off the bill and gave us 10% discount. Would of rather had a nice drink with the meal though

Lovely Thursday night in the Eagle. Was a really busy night as a psychic night was in attendance the staff were really attentive and our food was delicious. We had burgers, the Eagle burger with salt and pepper chips and the salt and pepper chicken burger, both were lovely! We were so full when we left.

Food took a while to come but place was busy, Pasta was cold, chips had hairs in - spoke to head waitress and took chips away to replace … replacement never came Was disappointed but will try restaurant again as I hoping it was a blip

My new fave localish gastro pub.. food and customer service is always always fabulous.. Honestly cant speak more highly of all the staff there.. Roasts are the best !!!

Food and service was excellent my only issue was where we were sat we could hear the noise from the bar but definitely eat there again as we do regularly

They appeared to be short staffed but the staff that were there were excellent and it did not affect our enjoyment. Food was lovely.

Great food , excellent service Only negative, credit card tips don’t go to wait g staff , we had a little cash , not a fan of this practice, would put me off returning if I’m honest.

Fabulous food staff couldn't do enough and lady on the front desk was very helpful the restaurant was emaculate and the decor was very upmarket great atmospher can't wait to go back

Have been here a few times. The good is excellent - certainly not typical "pub grub". The presentation is also good. The staff are warm and friendly and nothing it too much trouble. Also it is very reasonably priced which means it can be a regular experience. Well done Eagle and Child!

First time eating at the Eagle and Child for many years, it was lovely to see it busy in the week after New Year. Service was fab, lady who took our orders was really nice, helpful and attentive. Food was excellent and freshly cooked, couldn’t fault anything!

Would not return , told on entering we had 5 minutes to order , was only a set italianmenu , we were not told any of this when booking .felt uncomfortable as they they were just waiting for us to go , gutted had heard really good things about here and the regular menu looks great.

The food was amazing, beautifully presented. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We would definitely recommend the Eagle and Child for a good night out.

Been here twice in the last 3 weeks and both times staff were preparing for a party, very off putting when tables and chairs are being moved around whilst you are eating. If booked for a party they should cl8se the restaurant area

Hidden gem. This places deserves to do well. Not often you go somehwhere and absolutely everyone cares about their job from the chef to the waiting on staff. Food is fantastic
