Excellent food in a wonderful setting (surprising on the 7th floor of a Doubletree). The service was spotty though in the sense that the hostess was lovely and the bus staff great, but the waiter was haughty and often unavailable…:although he did spend far far more time doting on Italian-speaking tables. The bus staff wanted to help more but need to relay even simple requests for iced tea to him…..

after telling them in advance i had to push my res for 20-30 minutes they told me to not rush that they’d be open till 2 which was a lie when me and group arrived they rushed us to order everything saying they’d be closing the kitchen in about 30 minutes at the end of our dinner others were being seated and told to take their time the food was the only good thing about my experience

This was one of the best restaurants have been to in quite a few. The food was amazing and Brian was awesome. I must say my wine glass was never empty and the food was amazing. I will definitely be coming back to this spot.

A hidden oasis in midtown. The food, the ambiance, the attentive staff, as well as the gracious owners, all make this an extraordinary dining experience. The pastas, the steaks and the desserts are all world class. Whether one is conducting a business meeting, on a date, or celebrating a special occasion; this should remain on one's "go-to" list...a, thoroughly, enjoyable evening.

The restaurant was not crowded yet our service was atrocious. It took over 30 mins to have anyone take our order and our courses took a while to come out. It was only 4 of us for a business lunch so it shouldn’t have taken this long.

I am a 4-5* rater. Duomo51 earned its 1* from me. Poor directions to even find it. Waiter super brusque and very very slow. Had to beg for water, then to order, then to get beverage service, then to clear plates, then for dessert menus (for a table of 8 he literally tossed 2 dessert menus in the middle of the table), and finally, to beg for the bill. The setting was so-so—-no views as advertised. The food was fine, We ordered iced tea/lemonade and it was so sour none of us could drink it. I was the host and very embarrassed. They need to amp up their professionalism and customer service. Very disappointed and would never go there again.

The place was pretty empty on the Sunday evening we visited. The atmosphere was fine. We went with our two daughters, age 13 and 9. The burrata appetizer was delicious. The entrees were just ok. My bolognese tasted a little more like spaghetti sauce with a little meat and was a tad too sweet. The pasta was too al dente. My younger daughter likes her ravioli. Other daughter had tomato soup and Caesar salad and liked both just fine. Husband had the chicken dish and thought it was decent. Nothing was spectacular. Prices were pretty high for the quality in our opinion. It was fine overall but we probably would pass on it next time through nyc.

Server was a bit abrasive and a bit too involved for a corporate dinner (lots of interruptions at odd times) food was solid and table was nice though. Solid experience overall but nothing special.

Unfortunately, we had to have our dinners packed up to-go. The kitchen’s timing for food to table was really off. Appetizers came out with the soup and salad. Then we waited for 40 minutes. We couldn’t eat our dinners there. We had a train to catch. What a bummer. It was supposed to be a special dinner for my son. Disappointing.

Had a great dinner experience, celebrated my friend's birthday from Florida. After dinner they mentioned that i picked a great restaurant because the food was absolute fire. Together with the ambience and service made it perf. My bf and i will definitely come back for date night.

- No wardrobe. for an $$$ restaurant it's a must. - We ordered a bottle of Champagne and it came warm. The waiter tried to convince us that this is how they store. - The food was 5/10. Mediocre flavor with a nice presentation.

Tonight, my partner and I celebrated Valentine's Day at Duomo51 , and it was an enchanting experience from start to finish. The ambiance was cozy yet elegant, with dim lighting and soft Italian music setting the mood perfectly. Our waiter Krisard was attentive and knowledgeable, recommending exquisite dishes that exceeded our expectations. The homemade pasta was cooked to perfection, each bite bursting with authentic flavors. The wine selection complemented our meal beautifully, enhancing the romantic atmosphere. To top it off, the tiramisu dessert was heavenly, leaving us swooning over every spoonful. Duomo51 provided the ideal setting for a memorable Valentine's Day celebration, and we can't wait to return.

The food was very good but limited options for seafood. We were there for a romantic dinner but we felt rushed by the waiter to get our meal order in.

The setting is fabulous. Light, open and spacious, it is easy to feel comfortable. The service is attentive and pleasant, and the food is quality. A great choice for breakfast, lunch or dinner!
