I have always loved Duo It’s been my go to for many years . I didn’t hesitate to make a reservation for my business partners from Australia. We went early as other events were happening around town Started out strong drinks all around blended perfectly. As we were looking at the menu server told us what was not available and said that’s what you get for coming early What do you expect? (Nice) . So we ordered starters and mains guests were excited by lamb dishes . My fennel salad came it was so delicious then both appetizers of lamb came out for my dinner companions . I was embarrassed by how dry and shrunken the lamb ribs looked guest were having trouble eating them as they were paying I tried to shrug it off apologetically . I ordered the lamb ‘roulade’ thinking a perfect succulent lamb maybe perfectly arranged infused with spinach and grains ?? What arrived was a Melange of dry grizzled lamb pieces tossed in spinach and seemingly thrown haphazardly in place Most pieces I could not chew. Duo I’m coming back because of the past good experiences, but you really need to do better! I’ll send it back next time if I won’t embarrass my hosts .

We had Sunday brunch at Duo last week to celebrate a birthday. Everything was wonderful! The food was so delicious. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back as soon as possible!

Food was great, service was a little slow even though the restaurant was nowhere near full. Seats are really uncomfortable.

We had a very nice dining experience. The service was quite attentive and the food was excellent. Duo has been under new ownership ( the original chef) and after a bit of a bumpy start has hit their stride. We will be back again for sure.

Dining at Duo is always a pleasure. The staff is engaging & willing to answer questions. We had a leisurely dinner, perfectly cooked halibut in a light broth and fried chicken with mashed potatoes. Nice selection of cocktails & wine, with Fernet Branca with dessert. An extra treat not easily found. We’ve been dining here for many years,always a treat. Wish we lived closer!

Another fabulous meal at Duo! My husband and I have celebrated multiple anniversaries there. Last night was our 21st! I asked the server for recommendations of cocktails that were not too sweet. She recommended the Squeeze the Day and The Thyme is Now. We shared and loved both of them. For the appetizer, we split the turnips and radishes. it was basically a bruschetta, and the meyer lemon chevre absolutely made the dish. So delicious. I ordered the vegetarian entrée, which was lions mane mushrooms over quinoa, cakes. The flavors and sauces were outstanding. My husband got the bison. That is not something he would typically order, but he was very glad he did. We both loved our entrées. I love this neighborhood Jim and I’m so glad it’s still around!

I can never give Duo enough Love! Amazing food, amazing service, amazing cocktails, how they continue to innovate with every new menu and every new dish to the extent they do, in an unbelievably competitive neighborhood, is next level. Finally, the brunch is also stupendous!! Wonderfully warm and romantic interior, love the brick, look forward to my next visit!

Such a treat on Mother’s Day! Even on the later end of what must have been a busy Sunday morning, Duo outdid themselves. Every item delivered perfectly from the expert kitchen. Wonderful selections to please all dietary preference, featuring seasonal delights. Our server was impeccable. Loved it … and thank you!
