Dulcie's is a reimagined family cottage turned restaurant bar. The menu consists of a small selection of tasty burgers, oysters, seasonal cocktails, delicious wine, and friendly chat. Dulcie’s has a long bar to sit at, a beer garden to hang in, a fireplace to warm up next to. All of our menus consider local produce and the atmosphere we aim to create is cosy, fun and comfortable. Very friendly staff, delicious bubbles, lovely open fire and a warm atmosphere. Love the dog wall of fame! The shroom burger was fantastic and so were the fries with secret sauce. Hubby had the cheeseburger and said it was great. We had groceries and gorgeous Connor offered to put them in their fridge while we had our lunch. All round superstars!!!!

A special institution in Merimbula - they do it all very well. Great concept & great food, cocktails and drinks, great music and ambiance and open fire! We look forward to our annual visit to Merimbula and Dulcies is a highlight!

Third time we have been there. Last time was 3 years ago. On holidays and passing through Merimbula and had to go back. Nothing has changed. Ambience is still great, Food is great as is the service; warm, genuinely friendly and helpful. Like the idea that you have a choice of "creating" you're own menu. Wheelchair accessible and easy to get to. A huge thank you to our waitress, Jess. Awesome service and made the evening.

Burgers were great, although we spent over $100 for 4 burgers without sides. Service was good and bar/table staff were lovely. We arrived with 2 children before 8pm and were made to feel like we had Done something wrong. Security guard was beyond rude and made us feel uncomfortable so we left without finishing our meals. Wait staff advised he is often rude and people do complain about him. His behaviour was unacceptable and honestly if he causes so much trouble he shouldn’t be employed to man the front gate. It basically ruined the night for us. As I said, food was good and a good spot for a drink, however not affordable or family friendly.

You might come for the very reliable burgers, but then delight in the bar. The knowledgeable staff are capable of delighting the senses with outstanding cocktails.

The burgers are excellent. Good variety of beers. The burgers are expensive considering they don’t come with chips.

Ordering with QR code at the table not my thing, but trying to order at the bar was so time-consuming I returned to the table and used my phone. Our burgers arrived after 45 minutes. Wine pours we're minimal and $14 a pop. I've always enjoyed Dulcie's but left this time quite underwhelmed.

The music was far too loud. It was impossible to hold a conversation let alone talk about the food and drinks. I would recommend a friend the food but would definitely warn them of loud music which spoilt our night.

We really enjoyed the whole experience and the food was great. Best Burger I have has in ages. The fries were perfect too. I might have overlooked it on the bar menu but would appreciate a wider range of non alcoholic beers.drinks. The beer I had was OK but I think that may have been the only choice. This will NOT stop me from making Dulice's a place to eat when in Merimbula.

We sat on the outdoor tables under the beautiful big Jacaranda tree with fairy lights. Soooo pretty!! Atmosphere is lovely, service great, highly recommend. And, as usual, best burgers in Australia!!!!!

Great little burger place. Dine in a beautiful garden area or in the beautiful old cottage. Awesome burgers although if you pay $24-$26 for a burger, a handful of chips should be included not an extra $5! Service great as is the atmosphere. If you love a good burger it's worth a trip.

I visited in the late afternoon of Thursday 25th January 2024. The food at Dulcie's was excellent. Truly great burgers. The female staff member who served our table was very pleasant, friendly, helpful and very personable. The attitude of the bar staff however was unwelcoming & morose. The two bar staff I dealt with (both female) were unhelpful. On one occasion, despite being the only customer left standing at the bar both bar staff avoided eye contact, unsuccessfully looked for something else to do and did their best to avoid providing service. I requested a bottle of pinot noir (which was on the wine list). The response of the staff member serving me was "we don't stock that". When I pointed out that it was listed on the wine list, she begrudgingly stomped off to find a bottle for me. I have been to Dulcie's about 6 times over the last three years and have always enjoyed it. As indicated the food and table service was excellent. Whilst I will visit Dulcie's again, the bar staff need to have an attitude check. From the conversations I overheard at the adjoining tables I was not the only person getting poor service.

Booked 4 days prior - options were STD BAR or OUTDOOR. I chose STD assuming that was indoor How wrong I was.. we arrived to be given an outdoor table. (It’s gusty winds and about to rain) 😳 When I queried it I was told ‘there was nothing in my notes for indoor’ 😡 Really !! If I wanted OUTDOOR I would have chosen that option. Apparently I had to tell them that in notes. 🤷🏼‍♀️

This was my first visit to Dulcie's, having heard from friends that they do the best 'burgers on the South Coast. They do. My only slight reservation is that I think that the pickle on any 'burger is a culinary abomination (sorry, MasterChef). I know once can request "pickle-free" or do a design your own, but I picked them off instead. Perhaps opt-in rather than an opt-out is a good option? Service is great. The staff are awesome. The atmosphere great. It was cold and windy, but the ambience was great. May I come back please?

Fabulous ambience. Beautiful service. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was exquisite and despite it being a full house, our food came out very quickly. A hidden gem that we have loved for the last 5 years.

We go to Dulcies every time we are in the Sapphire coast & it is the best around. The atmosphere is fun & funky & the food is phenomenal! The best burgers anywhere!! Highly recommend.

The staff were SO friendly and super accommodating. They joked with us and served us promptly. They helped my friend who is celiac/allergic to gluten, and everyone had an amazing meal. The ambience is top-notch, and this is the first place I want to go back to when I visit Merimbula. Feels very homely.

We sat inside, the music was so loud, all tables were trying to talk but had to shout as you couldn't hear what was being said. Turn music down and I would have rated 5 star

First time here and it was fantastic. The food was amazing and the staff were great. Loved my cocktails. The energy was incredible and was great to see so many people enjoying themselves

Not the same. The service wasn’t as good as usual, cold basket of chips sent out, when we told the girl they were cold the attitude and look we got, not okay. Don’t forget we customers pay your wage! The onion in the burger was thicker than the meat and inedible. $24 for a burger that I honestly could say I’ve had better

Overall good experience. They had ran out of oysters which was my sole purpose of visiting which was incredibly disappointing- it was only 4:30pm… - They had also sold out of the only beer that my partner would drink so our visit was rather short compared to what we had originally planned. Burgers were great and great value. Cocktails were also good. Service could be more invested in the customer service side - they are highly invested in the “QR” code being used (which does seem to be the norm at most restaurants in the area). Would go back but will check in advance what they have available prior
