We like coming here to celebrate special occasions. Food is solid and special. I can always count on perfectly cooked shrimp :)

Had to cap our trip with Brekkie brunch at Dudley’s: Staff welcomed us with joy and TLC. Avocado toast with a perfect scrambled egg side and a Big Brekkie with delectable mushrooms and grilled halloumi, and capped with their homemade banana bread. Wonderful selections, lightly seasoned FRESH and perfectly prepared. Yes, the Cappuccinos were also wonderful, but the breakfast energized us for a big travel day, and staff and ambiance…we just didn’t want to leave. You can’t go wrong with any meal at Dudley’s.

Brunch at Dudley’s is a must when you stay at the Historic Blue Moon Hotel or want to meet up with friends. This brunch we had the organic eggs and the ricotta pancakes, along with the perfect cappuccinos. Eggs were perfectly moist (Why is that rare at other restaurants?) and the pancakes were so rich & moist they didn’t need syrup, but it was a nice accompaniment. The sourdough toast was delectable with the herb pesto. Dudley’s hosts are always welcoming and servers attentive without being over bearing.

Prompted by such a wonderful experience last year, we returned this week and dined 3 times at Dudley’s this trip before we noticed it is on Open Table. The Shrimp Linguine is a must: Each time prepared perfectly with the pasta al-dente, the shrimp tender and the garlic sauce splendid. One dinner, we walked in with 2 other guests and the host recognized us, immediately providing the perfect table for old-friends catching up (Thanks again!). We shared the whipped ricotta and the Cesar salad (each delectable) before each enjoying a different pasta. Good selections of wine-by-the-glass, including a sumptuous Rosè. Dudley’s is lively and welcoming with consistently very good food. A MUST for your visit to ICP or the Tenement Museum or shopping on the LES.
