The lamb lollipops, steak and bisque were fantastic. Service: one of the best experiences on the beach.

Dined at Drift in April for a Birthday dinner for a friend and it was a great experience. I decided to try it again for my birthday this year and to celebrate my move to the area. The service was outstanding again and the food was on par! I love the variety of cocktails and extensive wine list. I am not a big seafood fan and appreciated the options of non seafood items. Thank you to Pip for making my first birthday in Pensacola memorable.

Great location, view and ambience. Good service but not great. Cocktails terrible, food gets a D. Not failing but below average. I have been here twice, outside reservations both times. I really wanted to like this place but will not return. Pensacola has a lot of fabulous restaurants that excel in all areas, there is no reason to stop in here other than the view and vibe. If you must step in here order a bottle of wine and a straightforward appetizer like the Brie. Don’t order something the bartender has to make or the kitchen could possibly screw up.

Highly recommend, the. Baked Brie appetizer, Coconut glazed snapper was delicious.

This was a special event for my husband and I, as we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. I had mentioned it in my reservation and asked for a special table with a waterfront view. We arrived early as we learned there was a Happy Hour, so we went to the bar for drinks around 4:30. Our reservation was at 5:30 and the place was very slow. There were four open four-top tables against the railing overlooking the water; however the host sat us at a 2 top in the middle of the room. I asked if we could sit on the rail and he said those spots were reserved for a 4 person group and they would probably be busy later. I accepted that response, and took my seat. However, approximately 20 minutes later two ladies were seated at the railing at one of the four tops. I was very disappointed that I had to speak up to the waiter about it, but I did becuase it was a special night for us and my husband's back was toward the water. Our very nice waiter did move us to the rail. I was just disappointed that I had to take the steps to make that happen. It would have been excellent customer service if the host and hostess had taken note of my comment and seated us properly in the beginning. The food was average for the price. I had the lobster bisque and I love chucks of lobster in my soup. There were none. It was just the broth. I also had the filet. It was cooked just liked I asked. It was good, but again, for the price I expected something more. +

We had a group of 5 girlfriends celebrating a 60th birthday and would highly recommend this restaurant! The food was amazing: baked brie for an appetizer, salads, lobster bisque, filet, ribeye and lobster - all were delicious! The only reason for not giving a 5* was that the 3 steaks were all a little overcooked and not served medium rare as ordered. They were very tasty that evening but not as good to eat as leftovers the next day. The service as great. We sat outside and enjoyed the nice evening - it was a little loud with the happy hour crowd but that did not bother us. We all agreed that we would return in the future if we visit Pensacola again.

We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of this food on Pensacola Beach. Apparently our chef they hired from Ruth Chris in Miami and he was waisted there for his food recipes were excellent. We had an incredible French onion soup and a creative Burratta Salad for our appetizers and the yellowfin Crudo was one of the best I have ever had - better than any Sushi restaurant. For our main courses my wife had the sea bass in a coconut citrus sauce and I had the Snapper in a French cream sauce with potatoes, spinach and fried capers - it was excellent and the portions were very generous. Nancy our waitress was excellent and very attentive.

Lovely dinner! Great food and the servers were wonderful. The chef even stopped by and expressed his gratitude. We were even able to see the Blue Angels during our dinner. It was our second time there and we will definitely be back. It was a great place for a Mother's Day dinner.
