Second time here and just ok. Prices are very high for portions. Some dishes have been great and others mediocre. We celebrated an anniversary and let it be known prior to arriving and to have the restaurant not so much as seat us at a nicer table. We were sat next to a large table of at least 10 that were very loud although several other more distant tables were available. We likely won't try them for a third time.

Our steaks were cooked perfect! We also enjoyed the fingerling potatoes. They were hot & crispy! My husband was delighted to be able to enjoy his favorite beer, miller lite! It was Wisconsin’s homecoming, so very noisy. We’ll go again on a quieter night.

The upstairs dining area was terribly loud, it was difficult to have a conversation with the two others at our table. Also, the lights flicker non stop and it is very bothersome and noticeable.

The atmosphere was great The food merely good and not really worth the cost. There are better options for fine dining in Madison.

Food was excellent and a perfect decor. Service was acceptable until the waiter told us to not rush but the hostess will be asking for our table soon. We were only sitting for an hour and 15 min. My husband ate a $100 entree and the waiter felt a need to rush us out the door. We enjoyed the food but will never go back again.

Very small, cute but still upscale spot... I would've gave all 5 stars however the server took my order for my steak and walked away without asking how I'd like prepared... I also felt that the server came by the table too much; which made it hard to enjoy my guest but I do give the benefit of the doubt - every dining guest is different. I still highly recommend.

Birthday dinner on a quiet Tuesday night. Nicole, our server was excellent as was the dinner. A particularly nice touch was that for the birthday we were each treated to a glass of champagne as well as choice of dessert, one of those memory points when considering restaurants. Roger
