The Drake's dining experience is curated professional and sustainably using local produce from the West Sonoma county farms, freshly caught seafood and only the best cuts of meat. Our seasoned culinary team has established close relationships with local organic farmers, fishermen and ranchers creating a delicious and innovative menu. Come in and enjoy the most stunning views of Bodega Bay, the Pacific and beyond.

We take as much pride in our vintners as we do in our farmers, and we hope to share the bounty of our region with every guest. Our wine program aims to highlight some of our favorite local producers, big and small, along with the many varietals we can offer due to the diversity of our land. We hope that all of our guests take the chance to explore the beautifully comprehensive world of wine during their stay. Waitress was energetic but seldom seen, busboys were all but absent. Should NEVER have to ask for water. We were charged a corkage yet poured all of our wine afterwards. WTH?!? The men both had steaks and waited 15+ minutes to find someone to flag down for a knife that was NOT a steak knife Clams were served without a discard bowl. I had to move my pipping HOT bowl of clams to use the plate beneath. Nope, we’ll stick to Terrapin.

Simple roast chicken was the best I can remember in the last 20 years. My wife had pasta with clams, which were also memorable. Or waitress was Scarlett. She was very pleasant and patient and helpful. My Cabbage side dish was a little firm and slightly bitter but the sauce was excellent and paired well with chicken and I ended up eating every bite so I have to consider that a success too.

The rainbow trout had no flavor and a weird egg salad on top that was not mentioned in the description. the potatoes inside were soggy. The fish was cooked very well, but just no flavor.

The view of the ocean as so beautiful from our table. Our waitress was great and so was the rest of the wait staff. The food was fresh and very good. The only thing missing was a wish for our anniversary (previously disclosed). We will be back!

We celebrated my boyfriend's birthday at Drakes Sonoma Coast while we stayed at The Lodge at Bodega Bay, and it was a good experience overall. The Artisan Bread Basket For Two with seaweed butter was a tasty start, but the Little Gem Caesar salad could use some improvement. Moving on to the main course, we shared the Whole Roasted Rainbow Trout. While it was cooked well, we felt it lacked a bit of seasoning and perhaps a touch more care in its preparation. On a brighter note, dessert redeemed the meal. The 'Sweet Potato Pie' was a delightful finish, leaving us satisfied and content. Additionally, the surprise of a free Chocolate Dome for the birthday celebration added a special touch to the evening. While there were some areas for improvement, the overall experience was decent, with good food and a thoughtful touch for the occasion.

Felt the menu item descriptions on menu didn't match what was served. A bit misleading. Service and ambiance was great. Food and pricing were far off. Place goes dead around 8pm. Which is shame with all its charm.

A lovely restaurant in a lovely establishment. The service is incredible: the long lost art of excellent service with a smile, two nights in a row! The little gem ceasar is memorable: I ordered it two days in a row. The clam/chorizo appetizer to die for. Try to get your hands on the burger at some point (served in the adjacent FireSIde Lounge). I had not had a great burger in way too long! Minor quips: Main dishes have some really good quality meat: my only request would be to add more vegetables. Ditto for kids: something as simple as steamed frozen veggie mix goes a long way.

Great food, excellent service and a wonderful view! If I had one critique it would be making signage to the restaurant a little more clear. But that’s small in comparison to the experience. Would go back in a heartbeat. 💝

We ate at Drake’s on our honeymoon years ago and brought our children back while in town this past weekend. It was everything we remembered - they even had some of the things we had enjoyed then on the menu and they were just as good as we remembered! Delicious! Friendly staff and not overly busy or noisy!

Overall, the six of us had a good dinner at Drakes. However we felt the menu was very limited and for that reason I won’t be going back. Three in our party ordered the pork chop and were quite pleased. Three ordered the black cod and were disappointed at the very small portions. It was three small strips — about 6 bites — of fish in a bowl full of yummy bernaise sauce. At the price they charge for the meal, they should have been more generous with the pescatarians!

We had brunch at Drakes Sonoma Coast Restaurant and the meal was superb! One of the best Eggs Benedict I have had! Crazy how something that is so simple turned out so extraordinary! Food and service great we will be back!

We had the pork chop and pasta with mussels. The pork chop was huge but unfortunately a little dried out. The pasta was good but the mussels were small. We sat outside by the fire pits and it was absolutely beautiful. Our waitress was very friendly and the bus boy never let our water glasses get empty.

We ate dinner at Drakes for my birthday and it was nice but truthfully, the dinner we had at the Fireside lounge the night before (and the service - shout out to Halle) was better! Service at Drakes was extremely slow (Tom was our server), the steak was good but not the best we’ve ever had. The free dessert with a candle was sweet; the view was wonderful, and the charcuterie board was awesome. Left me with a so-so feeling. Love the Lodge and the people there but I think next trip we will try to find a different restaurant somewhere for our big night out dinner!

Waited an hour for the food to arrive after being ordered. Ordered the cod, which was two bites. Have gone here several times and had an okay experience, but this wasn’t one of them. Service was average, at best.

We ate at the Drakes Sonoma twice. The service was excellent and both servers were very knowledgeable. Just a small thing...despite the fact that we made reservations well in advance, ( for February 14, 2024) there was no room for us in the main dinning area, and we sat in the overflow area; which worked out better, because there was less people. I wished they would have had the fireplace on. I asked and they were going to ask someone, but was never done. Otherwise, it was a very nice experience.

The food was ok, pretty standard fare, but for me the portions are too huge and $50 for a pork chop seemed overpriced. It felt very dated as well and like it was stuck in the early 90s.

The view is gorgeous and our server was really kind and friendly. But we ordered the $28 Dungeness crab roll and it was 85% chopped up hard boiled egg whites. No mention of eggs in the description. Couldn’t taste the crab at all. Felt like a cheap scam that was beneath the caliber of the place.

The weather was horrible and thank goodness Drakes was open, warm, and excellent service and food. I returned the following morning for coffee and again staff took care of my needs. We didn't have heat or lights at the house we rented. Thank everyone.

Great place to have brunch on the coast. We came in just for the brunch, try to request a window table in your reservation. Mimosas were a great start and there were a lot of nice options for main courses. Staff was attentive but not intrusive, would definitely go again.

Arrived early was told couldn't be seated before reservation, changed my reservation time and then was able to be seated even though place was completely empty. Auguachile was horrible, no flavor tasted like guacamole no spice. Drinks were light on alcohol and Ceasar salad was not fresh. Not worth the hour drive from Healdsburg. Drove back and went to Donner at a spot in Healdsburg. Views were nice that's about it.

This is a gem in Bodega Bay. One of 2-3 restaurants with exceptional food + service + comfortable view dining. Server Thomas has been with the restaurant for a while now - he's fantastic. We love the burger, the steamed clams w/chorizo, the caesar salad, and the tomato soup. Nice that they've reopened for lunch, too.

Drake's was magnificent. The food was outstanding and plentiful. Joaquin, our server, was great. He was very attentive to our needs and and very helpful with the menu. Overall, A very enjoyable evening for our anniversary.

Hotel restaurant very convenient food and service was 5 star. Has a nice bar with happy hour. Has main dining room. Had martinis with all the shellfish amazing. Then dinner with more shellfish and the black cod. Everything was top notch. Deserts very good too. Breakfast the next morning was very good lots of selections i highly recommend the hotel and restaurant.

Overall, we enjoyed the experience. There was one hiccup though in that the second course was not served. When the main course came, we inquired what happened to the second course. The manager said oops there was a mixup. We said skip that course. That course was then removed from the bill, and then they graciously offered our Desert course complementary. So overall we were pleased.
