I love this space. Lovely, personal service by Simone. Hamachi appetizer was delicious. Pasta with porcini very good. Torta de la nonna beautifully presented. Good wine recommendation. Why do most restaurants play music for 20 year olds?

We went to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. We put it in the reservation that it was my birthday, they confirmed it was my birthday when I arrived, the server told me happy birthday, I ordered dessert, nothing outside of the ordinary was done. Not even anything written on the plate. I know not to try to go there for a special occasion.

We had a wonderful evening. The space is beautiful. Every dish was excellent. Dessert was amazing! There was a lively bar scene but the space is large enough that it doesn't detract from the elegant dining experience. Highly enjoyable!

Beautiful restaurant and very nice servers and manager. Quite civilized menu, but small. I ordered the Wagyu sirloin, with a bordelaise sauce. A beautiful presentation arrived. The steak was very dry, lacked sufficient sauce to last to the last bite. I ordered extra sauce, they brought it out immediately. I poured some on the rest of the steak, took a bite and the sauce was served cold. Any case, I’ll go back and try something else.

We were surprised that Drago Centro had not come up in our previous searches for a high-quality Italian restaurant to try in LA. We had not heard of this restaurant in the DTLA area. Drago was excellent all around including delicious Italian cuisine, excellent ambiance, and service, and an authentic Italian server which made the night a special souvenir for us. Highly recommended and we plan to come back soon.
